The doppelganger, knowing full well how Damian would react to any situation, stood up at the sound of the intruder alarm. He pursed his lips and stared back at the captive leader "It appears to be your lucky day: I won't be here in person for the rest of your questioning and then punishment. But you can pretend I'm there when you are made an example to all the city about what happens when you try to go against the established order. My only regret is that your parents won't be there to see your decent." He turned back to look at the armed guards "I want you to take his gear in your bags and bring it with us back to base. You can release him to the authorities here; I trust them enough to get him secured before what ever fool thinks they'll get to him". The fact that the double was there meant the building was on watch already, and coupled with the intruder alarm meant there were 2 vehicles in route: one to escort him back and one to reinforce against the threat. Knowing this, the double opened the door to start his way to where he came in, this time escorted by 2 guards while the others handled John and his things. 

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

A group of four patrolling officers had found the alleyway, two on each side, and they were inching their way to the middle of the dark corridor. One of them peeked behind the dumpster but saw nothing but a cardboard box, they would find nothing else either, because Keith was long gone from the alleyway before they even realized those other two guards were dead. He was back at the main facility of Death's Truth now, searching their computer system for anything he could use to help his comrades that were making their way inside the facility. "Bad news team, we don't really know much at all about the higher-ups of God's Hand.  Aside from the fact that they are heavily skilled within combat, I advise you all to use extreme caution." Keith said to the group, knowing he wasn't being any real help.
