I've beaten two of the four guys in the Beef-Off (the one where you could only counterattack and the 3 turn limit one). Were they what you meant by me dying a lot in Dreamworld Wakeport? Because I had no issues with them, or any of the normal enemies there. I don't think I'm overleveled, though I fight almost every enemy in my way, and the Bros. were level 16 for the first Beef-Off guy and level 17 for the second.

You didn't have any problems with those freaking Cocoknights?  That was kind of a pain to get through, especially with trying to clear their expert challenge.

Plus, the other two challenges you have to do are "All your hits must be Excellent or your opponent gets healed completely" and "Your opponent constantly heals, but doesn't attack."

I learn the enemies' moves in the first battle and have little to no trouble later on. Those last two Beef-Off challenges seem about as easy as the first two.

Granted, I've been playing since Superstar Saga and played the first 3 games through at least two times each. Also, in Bowser's Inside Story, I got the special ending message for beating the game while having my Bros. under level 17. I did so by skipping every single enemy possible, and only having 1 bro alive for each boss fight (alternating between them) so they wouldn't get experience as often as possible. So imagine, I beat every single boss the Bros. fight, all while underleveled and having only 1 brother alive, meaning they're carrying the other one on their back so their reaction time is slower.

The M&L series is my bitch.

[spoiler=I'm using this post to vent out my frustration against the Final Boss, so no peeking if you don't want to be spoiled or be exposed to pure rage.]

F*CKING. DREAMY. BOWSER.

He isn't hard, but he has THE most annoying move ever, and he SPAMS it!  He summons a bunch of dreamy versions of the koopa troop while he goes into the f*cking background and heals himself for 150-200 hp each turn.  And you know what is the fun part?  If you kill all of them, then he will have a good chance of using that move IN A ROW.  A F*CKING. ROW!  Jesuit's Cross, really Bowser?  I just want to eviscerate you and strangle your intestines until they are openly bleeding and stab them again!  Then, I will hang you by them and then put you through Number 15: Giant Grinder just to have the sick pleasure of seeing your corpse being ground up into tiny pieces!

One thing I've always liked about the M&L series is how they go about relearning old abilities, such as the Spin Jump. From one game to another, it's been awhile since their last adventure, so the Bros. could have realistically forgotten about moves like the Spin Jump. Though they don't necessarily forget how to do them, just that they have them. When the time comes for the moves to become needed again in a certain area, the Bros. discuss things with their fake Italian babble, and start using the move again.

I feel it's better than, say, whatever arbitrary reason causes Samus to lose all her suit power ups at the beginning of each game.

I did die once but that was, I kid you not, due to a sneeze messing up my timing on avoiding one of his more powerful attacks, since I went into his battle with relatively low health. Aside from that, though, he was easy.

Right now I just drank from the fountain at the icy part of Pajamaja, and it was pretty humorous.

SS is a great game to start off the series, and quite fun. Not as good as BIS or what I've played of DT, but it's better than PiT, which is easily the weakest of the series.

And so far I'm loving DT, but while I prefer the Giant Luigi battles to Giant Bowser Battles, I still think it has a ways to go before it can take BIS's place as my favorite of the series. BIS has the best story and script of the series, I think, and great characters. It's hard to beat having Bowser as a protagonist and Fawful as the big bad.

Never owned Superstar Saga and haven't gotten Dream Team yet. I have beaten the other two though. Had a ton of fun with both. Not to mention

You might want to listen to this Final Boss music if you liked BiS's Final Boss music.

Also, Massif Brothers are the best Bros. Moves tutors in the series.

Plus, while BiS was great and everything, it felt way too easy and Partners in Time was too linear for me to enjoy.

Sorry for mini bumping this game but does anyone know if their game continuously freezes? I'm at driftwood shore and sometimes when I touch an enemy, the game would either freeze or the 3DS would tell me that there is an error. Sorta frustrating :(

It doesn't happen to me.

Also, the timing with the later X Bosses is ridiculous.
