Nicο
By now, I really need to finish Superstar Saga, and find a Bowser's Inside Story. Dream Team looks more interesting than BIS though, and I'm sure I don't really need to play the others before it. (only reason I didn't finish SS is because the one that I actually owned wouldn't keep my save file) Why did they feel that a white background was a good idea though, those game case arts don't look very interesting, imo. I guess if you had to do it, it would work better for those ones than the others, but it still looks a little boring to me. (not judging the games themselves on that though, of course)
Shradow
Well, I think it's a Japanese thing. Look at the Japanese box art for Superstar Saga and Partners in Time. Also, while Dream Team so far is very interesting (I love the mechanic of being able to move and use an action during dodging/counterattacking), Bowser's Inside Story is definitely my favorite of the series so far. Bowser's just such a funny and badass guy to play as.
Lonk
I'm almost done with Dream Team. Just need to get the final Attack Pieces for Mario and then I shall pwnzor everything. Though Dream Team is the best sequel to Superstar Saga. Superstar Saga will always be the best to me because of what it introduced and stuff, but Dream Team is really close for me (The battles in that game are super fun, but very challenging). Lonk
Forgot to mention this, but the Mario and Luigi series are my favorite Mario RPGs because of the sheer amount of interactivity that the games give you that you cannot get in any other RPG. Dream Team has the best amount of interactivity as well. Also, Dream Team has the best boss music of all time.
Shradow
I do quite like the boss music. Shimomura does good work. Also, I forgot Antasma's name until it was mentioned in-game, so I've been calling him Gekko Moriah. Probably still will.
Lonk
How far are you in the game so far?
Shradow
Just passed the hammer battle tutorial. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my copy until yesterday. Also, really enjoying the ability to save whenever. My biggest problem with this game series was I'd have to rush to find a save block anytime I had to do something irl. Lonk
So it's best that I don't spoil the Bros. Attacks for you then?
Shradow
Any spoilers should go in spoilers. The Expert Challenges are a nice addition, though it's led me to save scumming in case I mess up the "get [number] of [action] in a row".
Lonk
No spoilers, but the woods area in the game is very surreal, and the deeper part of it feels even more so.
Shradow
I mentioned it in a status, but I love the art style of Dream Team. The use of 3d environment is nice, and the borderless sprites just seem to make things so smooth to me. So good.
Lonk
I also love the art style of the game. Seriously, why do people hate this art style? It fits the M&L aspect very well for a 3-D transition (and the 3-D gameplay is very smooth).

Lonk
I got the last Bros. Attack for Mario and it. is. EPIC!
Mario summons the Zeekeeper, guardian of Pi'illo Island who uses the Wakebeam (which was last used against Neo Bowser Castle to knock it out from the sky) and the Mario Bros keep pummeling the blast so that the explosion radius becomes uber-powerful. The item is the Zee Egg, and it costs 14 BP to use.
You can only get this move if you save all the Pi'illos in the game.
Shradow
The BP Knockout Bangle is so OP in the Dream World. *uses 6 BP Luiginary attack to defeat a swarm of enemies and gain 20+ BP back*
Lonk
It is useful against swarm enemies, but you will start dying alot in the Dreamworld once you get access to Wakeport.
Shradow
Well, they totally topped the Giant Bowser fights with the Giant Luigi fights. The use of 3d models and camera angles made the whole thing a ton more spectacular. And the Final Bros. Attack (or as I like to call it, "Perfect Combustion of Manly Souls, Cannonball Attack") is sweet.
Lonk
Giant Luigi battles are awesome, but the controls feel a bit weird.
Shradow
Hm, I didn't have any issues, but I did play through Bowser's Inside Story, like, three times.
Lonk
I guess it must have been about how I was tapping the screen then :/
Shradow
You had problems with that part? I was playing while laying down on the couch, and I felt my taps were half-assed and lazy, but they were fine. You know what I would love? A battle between Giant Luigi and Giant Bowser (don't tell me if there is). Though without the Bros. inside of him to activate his adrenal glands, I guess Antasma would somehow make him grow big or something.
EDIT: Oh, holy crap, Popple's back! :D EDIT AGAIN: Oh, and now it's Kylie!
Yeah, there is a Giant Luigi vs. Giant Bowser battle. You already spoiled yourself for wishing that and looking at this.
I'm now at the Final Boss, and the music is awesome. Not telling you anything else. But yes, I think that my taps were lazy and my timing was lax. I got hit for 1/3 of my health. So, now you are in Wakeport if I am not mistaken? Shradow
I've beaten two of the four guys in the Beef-Off (the one where you could only counterattack and the 3 turn limit one). Were they what you meant by me dying a lot in Dreamworld Wakeport? Because I had no issues with them, or any of the normal enemies there. I don't think I'm overleveled, though I fight almost every enemy in my way, and the Bros. were level 16 for the first Beef-Off guy and level 17 for the second.
