Elsword Elsis > Grand Chase Elsis

Elsword is more fast paced than Grand Chase. Character count isn't that bad either if you count the ones released in KR server (8 to 13). Won't comment anymore than that, since I've only seen video of Grand Chase instead of actually play it.

This helped me understand.

And also because Reload is broken.

That's one thing about Elsword: all characters are broken in their own way. Raven, for example, has Core when he awakens, making him a bonafide badass tank, Eve can clear off-screen enemies, Aisha can spam fireballs, Elboy has Defense Stance, Chung has Reload, and we don't care about Rena because she sucks (and is the fanservice character).

Anyways, I'm not sure if you can add offline or inactive people, but everyone add DanteSparda9 because that's me.

How similar to maple would you say it is?

Similar enough to not be a clone but you can see that certain aspects were taken from Maple, battle and the levelling up system basically works the same and character customizations allows for you to wear costumes as well as regular items much like Maple.

Pssh, as soon as you hit Altera, it's all grinding. And you lose your will to live after running Core 18 dozen times because drop rates fucking blow.

So glad I got all those done before they change the drop rates. I've heard the horror stories.

Also, the hilarity when Chung was first released was priceless. Everyone screaming "Chung is the most OP character. *tears*"

Reload isn't broken. Dread Chase got a nerf. If anything Chung has that's broken, it's Stoic mode Pikachung. Interrupts almost every non-active attack, reload 3 shots, and enters Siege mode, which is as powerful as a 100 active with all shots fired that costs next to no MP.

Of course this is nothing compared to Elword's WotS, or Raven's instant 100 MP regain.

After playing for about an hour and a half last night, I can honestly say that I do NOT like the new update. I really don't. I prefer the classic Dungeon running Elsword and how fast placed everything was. Now, they moved the interface around, making it hard to see where you're going on the map, added these weird Fields where grinding essentially becomes worthless (didn't see my Stam drop at all while I was there), not to mention the absurd amount of lag there, and tried to copy WoW with its Item Level. Pots are still worthless if you're not in a Guild, and the voices that play when you complete a Quest conflict with the characters that are already talking. I don't like looking at the bottom of the screen to see what skills I have available, and I don't like how the map is situated in the bottom-right hand corner, instead of the top-right. PvP still looks like a shjthole, and why was it necessary to add a wait timer in Towns and Fields? Now, Towns are going to lag a lot more than they used to. Also, everything is still overpriced on the Auction House and Quests still don't give enough EXP or ED to be worthy of completing.

/rant.

I'm confused. You say that grinding has become worthless, while also saying the dungeons don't drop enough EXP forcing you to grind. @.@

PvP, EXP tables, and Auction House stuff I'll agree with. But I've never had lag while playing, excluding GoD.

I also don't see the negativity in the pots argument. It is there to encourage players to join guilds. That is like saying the low drop rate for certain quest are stupid because it makes it more appealing to spend real money instead.

You also use to be able to move the interface around, can we not do that anymore? I've never tried.

My real gripes about the game would include...
1. overpriced everything
2. people piggybacking during dungeons (this happened earlier during Henrir <_<)
3. the PvP community and their egos (like DN level)
4. Level 50-60 grinding (my god)

That is really it. Number 2 can be avoided by playing with friends or guildies.

Update!

The hyperactives have a 3 min cooldown that starts whenever you start a dungeon/PvP match. They are also apparently meh in PvP (only barely viable in 3vs3) and gives the target a butt load of MP, making it basically a trade-off kill.

Sum up: Just a pretty finisher and/or win more.

Would put it in a spoiler, but they aren't that decent so it isn't that important/game changing.
