ITT: We all RP playing Musical Chairs (Last Girl Sitting OOC)

Title of the RP: Last Girl Sitting

Basic Plot Synopsis: At Valley Hill High School, there's been an N-way tie for the title of Prom Queen (where N is the number of active participants in this RP) so Vice Principal Koob (that's me! <3) decides the best way to settle the debate would be a game of musical chairs. Drama and/or Hilarity ensues.

Rules:
- All rules of the RP section apply, of course. Advance Clause too.
- All (or most characters) should be female, as they're all gunning for the title of Prom Queen.

How The RP Works:
First post in the topic (naturally) belongs to me. As Vice Principal Koob I'd announce the setting up of the contest and explain the rules. His post marks the "start" of the music. You're all free to post as much or as little as you want after the first post.

My next post will be the "end" of the music. At this point you're all to RP sitting down as quickly as you can. Last one to post, or the only one to not post gets eliminated. Koob starts the music again until we have one Prom Queen.

What I'd Like, And Random Rambling Suggestions:

-I'd prefer it if all or most of the girls actually wanted the title of Prom Queen. Though there is room for a handful of people who don't want the title and only got nominated as a joke, it's not funny if EVERYONE got nominated as a joke.

-I'd prefer it if all the girls disliked each other, to some degree. If everyone's all upbeat and happy that's not nearly as interesting. Maybe once or twice is okay, but not the majority.

- I'd prefer it if most of the characters were female. There is room for a single male just as a joke if he's overly flamboyant or if he's just the class nerd that gets picked on by everyone or something but I'd prefer it to be an exception, not the rule. One at the max, really.

- I'd like everyone to read each others profiles and, when circling the chairs, make comments and references to it.

Q: This is so stupid. You're so stupid.
A: The RPs in this section is always about some dumb epic fantasy and ridiculous power trips. I'd like a super simple, super easy RP with a clear beginning, middle and end.

Q: How would I stretch out 'She walked around the chair' or 'She sat down' for 4+ sentences?
A: Consider it a test of your RPing skill. It's not that difficult to be able to talk about something for a length, is it? One line for her thoughts on what she just heard. One line for what she's doing right now, or reactions to what she just saw or heard. One line for what she says next. One line for anything else you want. If you consider it that to be difficult to do, perhaps you shouldn't join.

Q: What if I write a super long RP post and get beaten out at the last second by someone who wrote something short?
A: We'll see when we get there... (though most likely it'll be a re-roll. The two players will have to do a single short game of Musical Chairs)

Q: I believe you mentioned prizes in the OOC topic...
A: Oh okay. 1024 for first place. 512 for second. 256 for third. 128 for fourth... and so on, with everyone getting half of the point above them, until we get down to 1 point prizes for "participating" for everyone past 10th place (or 11th, I'm no good at math.)

Q: So what's your schedule?
A: I have a job so I can't be online all day, but since my character is Vice Principal Koob it's probably important to keep the RP moving.

Okay, thanks. Also, if it's present day, that means that it's just like real life nowadays. So that means that if this is about girls in highschool who must fight in a battle of musical chairs, that means there must be a top ho of the school. Can I be top ho or is that reserved for yourself?

Anyway, I'm a little confused. The whole point of this RP is simply a game of musical chairs, so that means that during the RP, nobody but maybe you will be doing anything but trash-talking and sitting in chairs, right? That doesn't seem like anything worth being an RP, more like something for the games section.

- Age: 18

 

- Appearance: Kira is about five feet and six inches tall.  She has moderately lengthened black hair, reaching to the nape of her neck.  Her eyes are emerald green and they fit her thin nose and slim mouth.  She wears a pair of horn-rimmed black glasses, a matching emerald necklace, and two silver bracelets (one on either of her wrists).  She is a 32C Cup Bust with more heavy frame.  She isn't a body builder, but damn home girl is ripped yo'.  Her skin is pale, but it illuminates her face.  Her prom dress has many ripples and is all purple, flowing down to her knees.

 

- Known History: Kira comes from a medium wealth family, and a long line of sports activists.  She's obsessed with American Basketball, Football (soccer obviously), and traditional wrestling.  She's a very kind person but isn't afraid to speak her mind.  Despite her muscular build and frightening but sexy appearance, she has a guilty weakness for sweets, puppies, and children.  

-Things about your character that are only know to them:  Kira loves her body but wishes she was more dainty, more feminine.  She believes winning the title of Prom Queen will help her 'convince herself' that she's as much a lady as any other girl in her school.

On a scale from 1 to 10, with one being the least, how much do they hate the other girls?:  6.  Kira is very competitive but doesn't really 'hate' anyone as much as she wants to simply win over them.

Sounds about right. As I said earlier, I prefer simple RPs with simple plots that have a clear beginning, middle and end.

Games is for post spam. This is LIKE post spam, but it's "cleverly" disguised as an RP, except not so cleverly since I just admitted to it.

Name: Krista Bostonberg

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Appearance: Krista is short fun-sized, standing at around 5' 2"... 5' 8" with her silver studded heels on. She has all typical traits of a ginger, with pale skin including a hint of red, topped off with wavy, caramelized strawberry hair drooping down just a little past her shoulders. She has brown eyes that glisten even in a dark room without light, and she wears hot pink lip gloss that she considers sassy. Her prom dress is white and follows the curves of her body almost perfectly down to the ruffled bottom of her skirt, with the same design on her shoulders and the ends of her sleeves. A stripe about 3 inches thick is drawn from her right shoulder to her left hip and stands out with a darker shade of silver.

Known History: Krista was raised in a poor, redneck district on the outskirts of the area. Her parents were rarely ever together, and when they were, things got ugly. Her mother lives in a half-assed shack in a field where she laid out her own garden, and she attends the local flea market in hopes that she'll make enough to start a business. Krista's father was a struggling moonshine craftsman who hid his own distiller in the basement of their run-down house. His product is known to be worse than drinking a dog's diarrhea.

 

With every ounce of her life's being that she absolutely hated, a miracle struck when Krista's mom won the lottery. With that, Krista's mom divorced her dad and she moved closer downtown into the biggest house in the district, starting a hobby as a fashion designer. With her new-found wealth, Krista became the most popular girl in school, but the redneck in her never left, which makes most people steer clear.

Things about your character that are only known to them: Krista is pressured to become the top girl in her school from her mom. The thought that is always on her mind is that if she so much as makes a minor embarrassing example to her mother, her punishment would be staying with her father for a week. With what her dad has been left with, the very thought of such a punishment was enough to give her nightmares. She will do anything to become the top girl in school, no matter what.

On a scale from 1 to 10, with one being the least, how much do they want to win?: 10, as stated, she must win or else the punishment will be devastating.

On a scale from 1 to 10, with one being the least, how much do they hate the other girls?: 8, she likes no one, especially her competition. However, she looks at the unpopular girls with a hint of familiarity in their struggle.
