Masune and Marta

"I think we were meant to be friends"

Strange... that was the first time Masune ever heard anybody really acknowledge him as a friend. As he thought more about it, he couldn't help but feel strangely happy about it all. For the first time in his life, he felt like he really did have friends he could rely on, and was surrounded by people he could trust. That is, with the exception of Ryoko, since even though he defended her, he didn't trust her in the slightest. Even so, he felt like he'd be safe here, among all these people who were willing to help him. "You know Takeda-san, I think you might be right about that." With those words came a somewhat large, almost out of character smile, that soon died off.

As Shi spoke, a small blush appeared on Masune's face. Cute? He never said she was cute. Key word there being said, because he did actually think she was pretty cute; but even so that didn't mean he trusted her. More over, that wasn't why he defending her. But how could he explain why he did? As far as he knew, Chaos Sight was a skill only he had. Anapa had something similar, but it couldn't view souls. No, Masune was told that that was unique to Chaos Sight, and more over, unique to the Masashira family. After seeing hers, he just felt bad; and honestly, how could he not? The poor girls soul was screaming in pain for Christ sake. As Ryoko, approached him, Masune took a step away, keeping his distance from the girl, despite the fact that he defended and even pitied her. "Don't misunderstand. I don't trust her in the slightest. I just... it's hard to explain, but I feel sorry for her."

Then something else caught his attention. "Wait a second, did you say 'little witch'?" There was only one little witch Masune knew off, and if she was involved, well... a large part of him hoped she wasn't. Unfortunately, Izanami confirmed that... she was. "Oh great, that annoying brat is in on this too. Well, I suppose she would be... Anyways, you all asked about what happened? Well..."

Before he could continue, Marta let out a small soft yawn, bringing the time of night to everyone's attention. It was nearly 2 A.M. now, and once she yawned, Masune began to realize how tired he'd become as well. "Nami-chan, I know this is important. But I think we've all had a long enough night. Maybe we could explain everything tomorrow?" Marta asked as she yawned once more. As much as Masune wanted to just get that out of the way, he begrudgingly had to admit that it'd be a lot easier once he was fully rested. Before he could say anything though, Marta had him and Daiki by the arms, and began leading them towards what looked like another broom closet. "We'll just take the usual room, alright?~"

Despite all of Masune's struggles, Marta had somehow managed to pull the two of them into the room, which was as Masune suspected, was much larger inside. Much to the ease of Masune's mind, the room was equipped with a total of four beds, meaning that Marta wouldn't try to bunk herself with either Daiki or himself. Once inside, Marta released the two boys and darted over to another closet. "I'm gonna change really quickly, so neither of you two go peeking, okay?~" At the comment, Masune slashed his arm through the air, and gave Marta a very anime-esque glare, and replied with "Like I'd even want to look!"

A few moments later, Marta tapped the two boys on the shoulders, signaling that she'd finished changing into her pajama's. "Sorry for the wait guys. Anyways, I wanted to apologize for earlier." she said as she stared at the floor. "While you two were fighting, I just hid like a coward. I should have helped." Once her apology was over however, Marta turned, and dove into once of the beds, using her teleportation to land in them despite the obvious distance away they were. "Anyways, I just wanted to get that off my chest. Good night you two."

Masune sighed as Marta drifted off to sleep. "Idiot... You don't have to apologize for that... Anyways, no point in staying awake much longer, so sleep well." Without another word, Masune moved towards a bed, flopped into it, and drifted off to sleep.

Masune awoke the next morning to find... well it was an awkward sight. While he was sleeping, Sakura had climbed into bed with him, straddled him, and had been sniffing him, trying to figure out what the strange smell she'd smelled earlier was. "Oh, you're awake." she said as Masune gave out a slightly girlish scream when he found the cat demon on top of him in the morning. "What the hell are doing you freaking hairball!? Get off me!" It took a second, but Masune managed to push Sakura off and leaped out of the bed.

"I dunno what your problem is. I didn't touch you in any bad areas. Just sniffed you."

"Keep your sniffing to yourself!" he said aiming a warning glare at Sakura. After a little while, Marta was roused by the noise, and awoke with a stretch. The girl lazily looked around the room, before taking note of Masune and Sakura. "Oh, morning Masune. Morning Sakura. Did you sleep well?" Hearing Marta's voice, Masune turned his attention to her. "Oh, morning. Sorry if I woke you up." But Marta shook her head. "No, it's fine. It's about 7:24, so I would normally be waking up around now."

That was oddly precise. But when Masune looked at his phone to confirm the time, he could see that Marta was right on the dot with that. How'd she get it so exact? he wondered. But almost immeddiatly after, the answer came to him, and seemed rather obvious. She did mention yesterday that she her abilities had something to do with time and space, so it'd make sense if she inherently knew stuff like that. Then something else caught his eye. The girl from last night, Ryoko, she'd been in the extra bed. Well, she had all night to've killed me... considering the fact that I AM still alive, I guess she earned a bit of my trust...

Akane

Blazblue - Stardust Memory

Damn... I lost that slippery little bastard... As Muramasa's aura began to decrease, Akane slowed his advance, skidding to a halt as he landed on the now empty streets of Shibuya. Figures the sonofabitch'd run off before I could arrive... Ahh hell, guess that's what I get for not just going after him from the start. The cat let out a long sigh, before noticing the two men laying face down in a bloody mess on the streets. The damage done to the blue haired boy was minimal, but the other guy? It looked as if he was nearing death quickly.

Before making his decision, the cat glanced over to the bookstore, Izanami's bookstore, and nodded. Naturally he couldn't just leave these two here, especially when hit had become so apparent that it was Muramasa who'd damaged the two, as the scent of poison was all around them. Akane then smiled over, and sent a thought to Izanami via Mind Hacking. It's me, Akane. I'd be right in saying Masune is there, wouldn't I? Already knowing the answer, Akane gave a small laugh, then continued. He looks a lot like his dad. 'cept for that hair. I don't think it'd be asking too much to request this, but could you watch out for him till I come to get him? I reckon he'll need as much help as we can offer. Besides, you and I both owe his parents quite a bit. Hopefully I won't be too long. Oh, and keep an eye on Daiki too. I got a feeling he'll be as important as Masune in the coming days.

With that, Akane slid himself under Hibiki, and lifted him onto his back, then grabbed Reven's color by with his teeth. He'd need to be careful, but he should be able to get them both to a safe place so that he could patch them up.

A couple minutes later, Akane had arrived at the motel that he always stayed in while in Tokyo. The owner was a Demon Slayer, so the cat's arrival with two beaten and bloody men was of no concern to him. Akane then spent the remainder of the night healing the two men to the best of his ability, as well as extracting the poison Muramasa had used.

The Doji Clan

As night grew closer, the Chchino'obake squad hovered back. "Tonight sure was extra hard work...." one of them spoke.

Just then, the two young girls questioned if they could stay for a night, only to get a reply from a little crow-person of sorts. One would be able to know that was a Crow Tengu if they did their research.

"Well," it spoke in its rough voice, "what do you think, Bikuni, Tsurugi?"

"Us? Decisions?" Bikuni spoke.

A minor commotion spread throughout the Parade.

"Well then..." Bikuni spoke as she began to discuss with Tsurugi.

"Very well then. I am positive Ibaraki-doji-sama would say yes," Bikuni smiled with Tsurugi gave his usual, emotionless face.

A giant skeleton began to walk towards the Doji Clan. That was a Gashadokuro.

"So, old friend, found anyone else?" Bikuni questioned. The Gashadokuro nodded in delight.

"So, we're nursing these people back to heath, why?" Tsurugi questioned.

Bikuni knocked the lad/lass on the head.

"You have a lot to learn..."

Despite his blatant distrust of her, Ryoko made sure to stay near Masune. Listening to Izanami, she thought to herself 'Oh, I definitely do not like you... I may have to kill you as well by the time this is over' Beginning to get a grasp of how Marta's mind-hacking worked, Ryoko remained silent for the rest of the conversion.

Later, as she laid down in the spare bed, Ryoko thought about her options. 'I know where he is... now is probably my best chance.' Feinting sleep, Ryoko remained completely motionless with her eyes closed, waiting for everybody to fall asleep. She remained like this, and when she was confident that they had all drifted off, she quietly pulled the blanket off of herself. Taking advantage of her slight build, she quietly tip-toed down the hall until she reached the room in which she knew that Masune would be sleeping. As she approached him, she would release her hybrid steel aura through the palm of her hand, forming a small, but extremely sharp knife. Reaching his bedside, she brought the knife up to his throat. 'Well, this is as good a time as any.' Even as she tried to push herself to kill him, she couldn't. 'What is wrong with you, Ryoko! This is easy, all you have to do is slice.' The anger began to show in her eyes as she tried once again, but stopped herself just short of the blade making contact. 'But... why am I doing this? I don't even know why the Slayer's Guild wants him dead, and Little Witch said that I should join him... Why does everything have to be so complicated?' Wiping the tears off of her face, Ryoko ran back to her own room and cried herself to sleep, accidentally leaving her knife on the floor.

Bleach OST ~ Oh So Tired

Daiki was in his own little corner snoring, fast asleep...even complete with the snoring bubble (is that even the right term for it?). He simply murmured in his sleep, as he enjoyed his rest... well... until he was awoken.

"What the hell are doing you freaking hairball!? Get off me!"

"AH!!" Daiki yelled as he jumped up, waking up in an uneasy fashion. "Oh...Masune-san...that was you..." he said, yawning as he slowly got up groggily. The fight yesterday really did a number on him yesterday, especially with him using that finale with the holy fire. He got up and fixed himself up as well as grabbing the very convenient extra white button down shirt, putting it on. "So...*yawn*...what's going on now?"

Hibari

“Hibari-chan, one day you’ll be strong too, I promise!”

                “Your sister… I can’t tell what she’s thinking anymore. She’s becoming cold, but maybe you can still reach her.”

        “Hibari, I’ll be the force that brings spring to this clan. Do you understand what that means?”

  “I’ve decided, Izumi will be my successor.”

       “My wielder… can you hear my voice?

                 “I-IT’S IZUMI, S-SHE’S KILLING EVERYONE!”

“You’re worthless, a simple stepping stone in my growth… Just vanish.”

“I’ve changed just for you… use me… we shall be together forever…”

Hibari’s eyes shot open, as forced himself awake from another one of his nightmares. Glancing down hat his hands, he noticed that he had summoned Reito no sakura, or better yet, something had summoned it. Allowing the sword to vanish in a flash of light, Hibari slid out of bed, taking extra care to check is phone for any updates on Masune. ‘Looks like he still hasn't left that bookstore…’

The boy then spent the next few minutes going through his morning ritual of brushing his teeth, followed by seventy push-ups, and sit-ups. ‘Last night I didn't have the energy to face you, and your little entourage… but this time I won’t fail, Masune.’  With his morning workout was complete, Hibari slipped in his usually attire, before grabbing a toaster pastry from his freezer, and walking out the front door. Stepping onto the streets of Shibuya , Hibari made his way towards the bookstore, stopping only to send a quick text to Asuka.

 Going back to the bookstore, join me ASAP.

                                                -Hibari

Aoi

Aoi hummed cheerily to no one in particular, as she placed a cup of fresh coffee on Izumi’s nightstand. Peering down at her still sleeping boss, Aoi couldn't help but smile at how peaceful she looked; in her current state, it would be very hard for anyone to

believe that Izumi was the head of a major demon clan.

After last night’s meeting with the strange cat, Izumi had decided to that she would take the day off, and would probably spend the rest of the morning sleeping. That of course meant that Aoi had a lot of work to do, but she didn't mind one bit, as long as it was for Izumi. “Well, I guess I should get going…” Taking one last look around the presidential suit that served as Izumi’s bedroom, Aoi smiled before silently sliding out into the hallway. Being on the 100th floor of the massive hotel that the Kuroshima clan used as its current base, Aoi had ample time to prepare for her day, as she entered the elevator.

“I’m not allowed to use any explosives, so let see what else we can find~ ‘Desert Eagle 1911… Oh, and I haven’t used a trench knife in a while, but what about my primary?” Aoi thought out loud, as she began scrolling through the clan’s armory on her tablet. “Maybe I should mix things up with the FN P90.” After locking in her selection, Aoi stepped off the elevator at the main lobby, and was instantly greeted by four men who appeared to be of American decent. They all wore matching black suits, with sunglasses, and their faces seemed completely identical, leaving the varying color of their ties as the only way to tell the difference between them.

“Duuude, its Aoi!”

“It’s a great to see you again.”

“We've been waiting for an hour…”

“What kind of tablet is that?”

“Hello boys.” Aoi waved politely at the four men, before making her way the front desk. Upon seeing Aoi’s face, the clerk instantly nodded her head, and disappeared towards the backroom, leaving Aoi with the strange group. “OK, Leo, Michel, Donny, and Raph... lady Izumi requires the services of the teenage muta-“

“We actually don’t go by that name anymore.”

“Yea, we came about some issues….”

“So now we’re the Adolescent Demon Kappa Squad!”

“You guys know that saying both demon, and Kappa in the name is redundant, right? .”

Aoi tried her best to stifle her laughter. “Umm ok, whatever you guys call yourself. We’ll be hunting a bounty today, Masune the bloodreaver to be exact~”

Hilda

Hilda watched as the demon was destroyed and her quick assignment to take out the fleeing demon was quickly completed with the help Lii. She headed back to wear all the units where staying and deiced that she could take a quick nap seeing as she did not sleep on the way over. She just did not feel like having her usual nightmares which even DIADS  psychologist said that they saw no reason why she had them. She laid down to sleep for the night and it seemed all things where going well until two hour before anyone else that was sleep woke up she sat up and sweating. She could look at herself and tell that she had experienced another one of her chronic nightmares. She had been experiencing them since  little after she meet Reven but did not think much of it. She could tell  that some of these nightmare were a bit random. She just figured that it was not a big problem as she went through a morning set up and then deiced to check around and see if the perimeter was secured so they did not have a repeat of the previous day.

Reven

Reven had been out after all the pain he went through the previous night. He could not tell anyone what had happened that night after he blacked out. He had no idea that he had been moved twice over and was now at an motel building. Reven was beginning to come to as he could still feel the pain from the wounds but they were healed to the point that they were not going re open with out extra stress. He sat up and got back to his feet as he was attempting to see where he was. He had no idea that someone had healed him and drained the poison in his body. Reven had no idea ut his body still was not at a 100 percent. He was using t he wall to help him stand as he was heading towards its exit. He had no idea where he was but he was not sure staying there was a good idea.

Lisaina

Lisaina had got herself some rest over the night as she had sent drones out into the town as she was attempting to create an information net of her own  to rival that snake that she wanted to eat but first she needed to find him. She had not expected for her drones to tell her about the Masune bounty. She obviously had no need for the bounty ,but she did want to see if Masune was what they made him sound like and get a good taste of him as well. She saw no reason to leave her hive yet and so far he Hive had not been destroyed so she was fine just sitting and waiting for a prey for herself to devour. She  had to make sure her drones where not picked off which would cut her off from outside the  hive.

"Yes, he does look like his father doesn't he?" Izanami gave the mental reply, "of course I'll watch him, and the rest of the children too. And Akane... be careful, and if you need anything..." Izanami returned her attention to the room after her mental chat with Akane, she also took note of the time as Marta yawned. "Of course dear, the room is always open, you children have a good night now."

Izanami snapped her fingers and a puff of pink smoke appeared around her and Shi, and went in cleared... she was in black lingerie with thin straps connected to almost transparent stockings... and Shi was in a school girl outfit.

"Izanami!?"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry you know I always mess up that spell. Okay lets try again," Izanami again snapped her fingers and... ... ... this time Shi was in the lingerie and Izanami was dressed as a cat... "Ooops..."

"This will not get any better, kids I suggest you go to your room, before your scarred for life," Sakura replied returning to the back room Keiko.

"Night, night everybody~" the bird demon responded before shutting the door behind her.

"I really was hoping not to see that," Misaki shuttered as she grabbed a small cord on the ceiling and a flight of spiraling stair dropped down, "come when your.. uhh... done..."

"Geez, you guys don't cut me any slack," Izanami muttered an snapped her fingers one last time before she and Shi appeared in there nightwear.

~~~
"Meeooooww!" Sakura hissed back flipping off the bed, "you humans must learn to embrace your baser instincts better... then awkward moments like this wouldn't happen!"
Thankfully Izanami walked in with breakfast before things got anymore awkward... well that would remain to be seen.
"So what's on the agenda today?"
The next morning.
Ibaraki-doji
The child yawned like a...
Child...
"Good mor- AH! Megamelons! Who let you in? And put on a jacket or something!" Ibaraki was shocked at who was sitting beside her. Corbeau d'Argent.
"Well, don't forget who brought you back," she retorted.
"Wha- I- last night... was horrible... wasn't it... I just..." Ibaraki's eyes began to tear.
"Don't cry, kid, you'll gain control one day, right?" Corbeau d'Argent patted Ibaraki-doji on the head while smiling.
"Thanks. By the way..." Ibaraki-doji passed her old mate a leather jacket with a hood, "this used to be my father's. Treasure it. It used to come with a bike, until he auctioned it away..."
"Well then, thank you, I'll take my leave then," Corbeau d'Argent walked away while putting on the jacket.
This was when Ibaraki-doji completely rose and left her room. "Good morning Bikuni."
"Good morning, Ibaraki-doji-sama. I apologise, but while you were asleep, I allowed our two new friends from yesterday stay over... and sent Tsurugi to look for Anapa. Please punish me if I did something wrong..."
Bikuni was literally blushing as she ended that last sentence. That creeped Ibaraki-doji a little.
"It's alright. You did what I would've do- AAAHHHH! I almost forgot that Anapa hasn't returned yet! Has he?"
"I don't think it'll take us long to know, Ibaraki-doji-sama..."
It'd been some time after dawn. Lu'vah remained by the girl as promised, despite the reek of Hell coming from her. Nothing disturbed them whilst the young woman rested, fortunately. Lu'vah hadn't the idea what she was to do with this girl when she awoke, asides from for a lack of better words, interogating her. Shouldn't she kill her outright? Yet, she saved her life, and protected her thoughout last night. Perhaps this one was unlike other demons, just as Lu'vah was unlike her family. Lu'vah did care for perspectives, unlike other angels. She'll learn this demon's story and act accordingly. She would just have to until the young woman awakes.
Amaterasu struggled to lift her eyes open. It seemed as though all the muscles in her body made her want to not move, and stay completely still. However, she understood that there was still work to be done. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't bring herself the strength to move. She was happy to say that the morning sun felt good on her skin, though, and so she soaked up as many of the rays as she could, by inching herself out of the shade and into a brighter spot.
Within the next few moments, the sun's rays coursed through Amaterasu's body, revitalizing her to the energy she had the day before. Amaterasu sat up from laying on the grass. The first thing her eyes noticed was the angel that had helped her escape last night from Ibaraki-doji's crazed destruction. The girl had crimson red hair, taking this as her most prominent feature. Amaterasu felt the awkwardness in the air settle in, but the only thing Amaterasu managed to breathe was "Umm...thank you".
Amaterasu looked at the girl that had just saved her life. She wasn't sure if she was a Demon or not; if she was a Demon, she most definitely would have recognized with one of her own kin.
"Please, tell me. Who are you? What is your name?"
The young woman started to stir, slowly making her way from thr shade to the sunlight. Not moments after, the girl sat erect, fully awake. The blonde stared at Luv'vah, and she met the demon's gaze. An awkwardness fell around them, a feeling that intensified the silence between the two strangers.
"Umm...thank you." "Please, tell me. Who are you? What is your name?"
Lu'vah smiled at the demon's display of gratitude. "You're welcome. You may call me Lover, a succubus." Whether this demon would believe Lu'vah, she did not know, but regaining her cover seemed the best course of action considering all of the unknowns. Was this demon unlike others of her breed as Lu'vah hopes? Was she malicious? Evil? Have cruel intentions? What of allies? Surely, someone aided her in climbing from Hell. Lu'vah slowly sat on the ground a few feet from the demon, with her feet tucked to her side, as to not open her short pencil skirt. "And yourself?"
"Lover? Is that it?"
Amaterasu giggled a bit into her hand, and then afterwards, laid down with her hands behind her head, catching some rays and revitalizing her broken spirit and energy.
"Why such a simple name? Most succubi I know generally have more extravagant names than that."
Amaterasu could sense that this "Lover" girl was not about to let her off the hook so easily. There must have been a million different scenarios playing out in Amaterasu's head as to what could happen, but for the moment, she kept her wits about her, looking up towards the rising sun and giving off a little bit of a smile.
"Hmm? I'm..uhh, Ammy."
When Lover inquired about Amaterasu's name, she pulled the same schtick as when she met that Ryoko girl; giving herself a false name and a false image so as to secure her true identity and intentions. But given that this girl was a succubus, who are generally creatures of very dark and brooding situations, it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that she, herself, could be a Demon. Perhaps there are other "planes of Hell" that Amaterasu was unaware of...or maybe this "Lover" character is more of a "Fighter".
"I think you already know this, but I'm not from around here. You, however..."
The images of Ibaraki-doji destroying the entire block of the city swept across Amaterasu's mind like a burning inferno. Amaterasu considered her the source of all destruction in the world, given her immense power (housed in the body of a five-year-old no less!), and it was her responsibility to stop her.
But "Lover" didn't need to know that.
Amaterasu sat up and stared at the succubus.
"Hey...did you...j-just try sneaking a look up there?!?"
Amaterasu had just remembered she was wearing a skirt while laying down on the grass. This was so embarrassing...
The girl's small laugh was innocent and sincere, covering her mouth with one of her hands. Again, she bathed herself in the sunlighth, laying in the grass with the utmost of content. With a smile, she gave her name, Ammy. Though this breed of demon was unfamiliar to Lu'vah, she sensed that the girl wasn't entirely honest with her, but neither was she. Ammy was playing smart as well, which brought a pleased to Lu'vah's face.
"Hm. I don't need to be called anything else, Ammy the fox.Yours is small and sweet on the tongue. It is a good name."
A light breeze came around, brushing Lu'vah's red hair across her face. As she smoothed it behind her ear, she noticed the many burnt holes in her blouse. Hopefully, none were too large to be revealing. Even for succubi, promiscuity had boundaries. Ammy then admitted that she was, infact, not from here. To be exact, the girl was from Hell, yet how could she be? Lu'vah looked at her, laying on the light. She hadn't once tried to harm Lu'vah, nor seemed malicious by any means, unlike the mindless beast from before. Remembering the the fight, Lu'vah concluded that she had saved this demon because she was defending herself. Ammy was about to say something regarding Lu'vah, but instead sat up straight and gave her a look. She asked if Lu'vah had been looking up her skirt while she had been sun bathing.
Catching a bit of embaressment from Ammy, Lu'vah smiled softly. "No. I'm more endeared to humans. I've never seen a demon the same. Though," Lu'vah's smile widened, "you could possibly change how I feel of them."
An issue of priority emerged. Lu'vah had initially come to this island in search of whatever it was that disturbed the plane of this realm, but here was a demon who had come from Hell. She wanted to keep her eyes on Ammy. As sweet as she seemed, it could be a ploy, just as Lu'vah was concealing her true self. Some way from between their deception, she needed to find out Ammy's intentions.
"Ammy, do you plan on going anywhere?"
Amaterasu blushed a little bit when Lover commented about "how she might possibly change how she feels about them". Amaterasu shrugged her shoulders and laid back down, not caring anymore about flashing the newfound girl.
"Humans, ehh? Maybe I've been hanging too much around them lately. Their bad habits are starting to rub off on me..."
Amaterasu's words almost trailed off into nonsense gibberish as she was just about to fall asleep in the sunlight, until Lover's next question made her open her eyes again.
"Hmm, not beyond here. You must know about this character "Masune the Bloodreaver" right? Still, though, there are more important matters to attend to, like that massive beast we just fought. If she is not dealt with, the entire city may be destroyed..."
Amaterasu took a moment to reflect on what she had just said. If she was going to take over the world anyway, why was she concerning herself with the structural integrity of the city? Perhaps, she really was becoming more and more human...no, that's absurd. Amaterasu pulled herself up from the ground, stretching her arms and examining Lover's skin, which had undoubtedly been seared from Amaterasu's burning skin. She almost regretted ever going into that form, simply because of the amount of damage it does to others. Amaterasu stood up and offered her a hand with a slight smile.
"Listen, you may know this already, but those Demons and Bloodreavers and all that other irrelevancy...I am not like them. I am different from the rest. Plus, we should...umm, "fix you up". I-I mean, not that I really care about you revealing your skin to me, b-b-but..."
Amaterasu became flustered as she waited for a response from the girl...
The demon blushed. It was an odd sight for Lu'vah to see. Angels are instructed that demons were little more than conscious entites, being very selfish and apathetic creatures. Seeking out their own rewards, they stop at nothing to acheive their ends. This one seemed to have a different spectrum of emotions. Nonchalantly, Ammy laid herself back onto the grass, her skirt ruffling in the wind. At this, Lu'vah pondered what it was to be specificly affectionate towards a single individual. She loved all humans, as most angels do.
"Humans are.. naive. They've no idea of so much, and know little of what they believe in." Lu'vah looked off to the shrine near them, realizing she hadn't a clue what or whom it was devoted to.
Answering her previous question, Ammy stated she wasn't heading anywhere far, insinuating she was after a "Masune the Bloodreaver". Lu'vah hadn't heard of such a name, but Ammy was right about how that monster from the past night was an immediate threat.
"Actually, I haven't heard of the name." Bloodreaver is rather malign. If this Masune deserved such a title, Lu'vah only felt that he, too, must be dealt with, but then the creature from last night was mentioned. Lu'vah looked up to the sky, remembering the sheer, devastating power it had, then returned her gaze towards Ammy. "But you're right. That.. beast is an immediate threat."
Standing up, Ammy gestured to help Lu'vah to her feet. Taking her smaller hand, Lu'vah rose to her feet. The girl was smaller than herself in almost every respect. A part of Lu'vah wanted to believe Ammy when she declared herself different from the rest of demonkind, but the rest of her knew better. She was still a demon, and demons, like angels, do not always speak absolute truth. "You'll find I am different, as well." After mentioning that they should tend to Lu'vah's wounds, Ammy began to studder, looking very perturbed. Was she nervous? Why? "You needn't worry about me, Ammy. I heal quickly, and the burns no longer hurt. I'd like a new blouse, however." She stretched her ruined top, revealing the holes with blackened rims.
"Ammy, if you're going after that thing from last night, I wish to join you. I don't feel you should face such a creature alone. Would you give me the pleasure?"
[acronym='Refering from the time from my last post that is']The Next Morning...[/acronym]
Sarah and Tanya:
Tanya woke up in the Doji Clan Headquarters, and realized that Sarah was still fast asleep, so as she got out of bed, she could feel a lot of aura just settle around her, Tanya knew that Sarah was a somewhat heavy sleeper, sleeping in the latest of the 5 Royal Guards, and thus often a target for pranks and stuff, so Sarah kept a means to deter pranksters from interrupting her sleep. Tanya exitted the room they slept in after 'Dressing' herself in her aura and made her way to find her Ibaraki-doji, and upon finding them, Tanya bowed and said "I just came to thank you guys for letting us stay here for the night, But Sarah has yet to wake up...  I may as well go look around, since I can't go anywhere without her..."
In the meantime... Sometime after Tanya left to look for Ibaraki-Doji, Sarah woke up and got up, shrouding her self and 'Dressing' herself in the aura that served to protect her while sleeping, she was actually curious about the place that she stayed at and proceeded to look around in the room they slept in...
"Just one question before I do so. You were there last night. You most likely would have turned your blade on me rather than that gigantic Oni had I attacked you. But you know full well I am a Demon. I can see it in your eyes; I know you don't trust me, so I will just go out with it. My goal is to wipe out the entire world. But lately, I have experienced......things...that Demons do not normally feel. At least, from what I read in stories. I believe there is more behind the curtain than one would lead me to believe. As such, I want to see for myself just what exactly this Masune the Bloodreaver character has in connection to all of...this. Why the world is in such an upheaval. Why everyone and their mother is out to get him. So, knowing all of that, will you turn your blade on me in the future? Even against an unarmed girl like myself?
Ibaraki-doji
"No problem," Ibaraki-doji smiled as she scratched her head, "you can always count on me..."
Ibaraki-doji then pulled out a book to give to Tanya. Apparently, it was bilingual, with English and Japanese.
"Night Parade of a Hundred Demons. Thought you could use it if you have a hard time identifying any yokai you see here, or Japan for that matter. Of course, it doesn't contain all yokai. But it does have a rather poor depiction of me and my dad..."
Ibaraki giggled for a while.
The whole Japanese-style mansion looked a little old-fashioned. Just like Ibaraki-doji's tastes. Compared to a hundred (or so) demons, this traditional Japanese mansion was... pretty spacious.
At this time of the day, you could see... few yokai walking around. One can usually see a giant spider, four metres in length from head to abdomen, crawling on the ceiling. That was a Jorogumo in her true form, if one did research. Needless to say, spiders are scary as hell.
The unlit paper lanterns that guided the pathway were actually slumbering Chochino'obake, tired from fixing Shibuya yesterday.
"Wonder how Tsurugi's doing," Ibaraki-doji muttered to herself.
Tsurugi
"What a pain, wait, what was I supposed to do again? It's at the time of my tongue..."
Tsurugi ate the last bits of his banana chocolate crepe. He really loves skiving.
"Ah well, I think I'll just do some research on... wait, I don't know that lady's name. But maybe..."
Now back in Shibuya, he entered a bookstore, looking for books on yokai, specifically Shuten-doji, their old leader.
Maybe Shuten-doji or Nurarihyon had some old foe... let's see now... four greatest yokai, huh? Alright then...
"Excuse me, are there any non-fiction books regarding the four greatest yokai?"
The other two, Emperor Sutoku and Tamamo-no-Mae... it could be one of them... all I know is that the enemy was a lady demon of unidentified race... but if I think about it, could Ibaraki-doji-sama have faced one of them in battle and even survive?
Lu'vah listened to Ammy's announcement. When she stated that her desire was to destroy the world, Lu'vah's mouth flattened and her eyes fiercely leered into Ammy's. Her fists clenched and her muscles flexed, Lu'vah's instinct telling her to slay the demon where she stood, but Ammy continued. She spoke of how lately she's had experiences that a typical demon would, which Lu'vah honestly resented. It played precisely into Lu'vah's weakness: hope.
Without changing her expression, Lu'vah answered the girl. "I couldn't allow you to wreak havoc on this world. If it ever comes to that, I won't hesitate to raise my sword and slay you. Whether you die or are sent back to Hell is of no importance to me."
As hard as Lu'vah wanted to be, as threatening she knew she need to be, she couldn't. Ammy struck a chord on Lu'vah's vice, her hope for all things, and now, Lu'vah hoped that Ammy would change. Her face softened. Lord, my God, forgive me...
"But even now, I don't believe you'll do as you plan, as you aspire. I am hopeful for you, and believe in you. So, shall we continue together, Ammy?"
Masune Masashira
Before Masune could make another smartass retort at Sakura, Izanami had entered the room with several large plates of food. Before answering her question, Masune took a plate and piled it high with eggs, bacon, pancakes, french toast, sausage, and several other foods. Despite the vast amount of food Masune had piled onto his plate though, it was somehow gone within a matter of seconds as Masune's chop sticks whipped through the air like lightning. With his plate now clear before Marta or Daiki (or anyone really) had a chance to start on theirs, Masune thanked Izanami for the food, then thought for a moment.
My agenda huh?...
"Well, I owe you and everyone here an explanation, correct? I'll start with that then." Marta looked towards Masune as she took a small bite of her food, then frowned slightly. Masune continued.
"I suppose... it started about a month ago... That's when I first learned about demons and Demon Slayers. Actually it originally started with me wanting to know more about my parents and what I was. During that though, my Chaos Sight activated. Hurt like a b*tch too..." as Masune mentioned Chaos Sight, his left eye was swallowed by his pupil, which was now merely a white dot in the center of his eye. "Shortly after, the party I was with was attacked and devoured by demons. I thought I was gonna be eaten too, but then some black aura burst forth and destroyed the demons attacking me. Kokuen appeared then too. After that, I began training"
A small tear welled up in Marta's eye as Masune reached this point. She knew what was coming now, and it wasn't something she was going to enjoy hearing about it again. Masune's eyes aimed at the ground now, not wanting to look at any of them again. "A week ago... that's when Muramasa showed up... Almost as soon as he did, he killed Allastor... After that, I went to Hell with the help of the demon Chaos. My goal was to seal it up; make it so that no more demons could get out. I don't necessarily hate demons, but... I thought it'd be better if the two races were separate. Thinking back, it was pretty selfish of m to decide that for myself... Anyways, once I got there, I found Muramasa laying in wait for me. Chaos and Muramasa set up a trap for me, and I foolishly walked right into it. Muramasa killed Chaos then, and left me alone in there with a horde of demons on my ass. Not sure how, my memory of fighting them is pretty foggy, but I managed to defeat them and get out. Not without an extraordinary pain in my shoulders and lower back though. I thought everything was fine otherwise, but as it turned out, Muramasa destroyed the gate on his way out. It was around that time that Marta found me. Good thing she did too, otherwise I'd have been lost in that place."
Once his albeit somewhat rushed story was over, Masune grabbed one of the cups of orange juice that Izanami had provided, then took a long sip of it. A small sigh was released from Marta's breathe, as she knew exactly what Masune was gonna say next. It was a stupid thing to do really, and would ultimately result in much more trouble than Marta wanted to deal with, however, she knew that Masune's mind was already made up. That aside, it's not like they could ignore the situation either, especially with the Guild prioritizing Masune's death over this.
Final Fantasy X - Assault
Once he had completely drained the glass of it's content, Masune set it aside, and looked at Izanami, making sure to look her in the eyes. His face wore a fiercely determined look, as well as an overconfident smirk. Even his aura seemed to radiate through the room with his resolve, giving off a warm, comforting feeling to those it touched.
"So, what's my plans you ask? My plan is to find out what Muramasa's planning and stop it by any means necessary. Screw the bounty. Screw the Guild. Muramasa is my target. Anything that wants to try and argue can do that to my sword." As he finished, Kokuen materialized within Masune's hand, as if to support Masune's claim. The fierce determination Masune was displaying was now more than evident to everyone from the amount of aura he'd been releasing. Still, something about it was different about it. Normally, darkness aura would have felt cold and threatening, but as stated before, Masune's seemed to comfort those around him by brushing them all with a warm welcoming feeling.
Another sigh fell from Marta's breathe as she stood and stretched out. "Well, I hope you know you're not doing that alone." she said winking at Masune. "Don't try to argue it either. You already know that I'm not gonna take no for an answer." she continued as Masune opened his mouth to argue. "Besides, I have a feeling Muramasa's at the root of that bounty too. More importantly, I wanna know why he sent those demons after me. It's been nagging at me this whole time. Why is he after me?"
There was no arguing with that. Marta had every right to want to get rid of Muramasa as much as Masune did now. Besides, the more people he had helping him, the better, right? Plus what Daiki had said last night about the three of them having been made to be friends was still stuck in Masune's head. Having Marta along would, at the very least, keep his spirits up. "Fine with me if you come. Just don't slow me down." Masune teased as Marta stuck her tongue out at him and pulled her eyelid down.
Once she ended her childish action, Marta turned around, and moved over to hook her arm around Daiki's, then smiled at Masune. "Oh, and I want him to join us too." she said as leaned against him, pressing her breasts against him as she did. Noting how obviously she was doing it too, Masune sighed. "I honestly wouldn't mind it, but I think that's more up to him Marta."
Akane
Blazblue - Stardust Memory
"And where do you think you're going pal?" Akane said as he appeared behind Reven whose wounds, while healed, were still fatal if he wasn't careful. In a way, Akane could understand why Reven was trying to leave. Having read his mind to find out how he and Hibiki received their injuries, Akane knew that Muramasa had promised him information on his wife Hilda. "I get what you're trying to do, but them wounds ain't fully healed yet. You're gonna end up dead if you don't give them a little more time; and then who're you gonna help in that condition?"
Akane then walked around Reven, to look him in the eye, as well as reveal that he was actually a cat, not a person. The surprise was as Akane had come to expect. Even Demon Slayers were never ready for Akane to reveal that he was in fact just a feline. "If you stay here, I can finish patching you up, but if you go looking for her now, you'll just be presenting an easy target. for the demons and DIADS. It's not that I doubt ya, just that those wounds are more severe than they look."
Daiki was impressed at Masune's determination that he was displaying at this. Not only him, but Marta as well! Before too long, even he himself felt it, right around the time Marta hooked her arm around his. A small smile appeared on his face, when he heard that she wanted him to go with them as well. Finally, with a smile, Daiki nodded.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn OST ~ Standing Friends
"Count me in, Masune-san...Marta-chan!" Daiki said, as he held his fist out towards Masune, waiting for him to fist-bump it. "I'll help you guys with your lil adventure. Besides, it seems a lot more fun than what I've been doing for the last few weeks. Me and Gin no Hono are at your services!"
Reven
Reven had not expected for a voice to show up behind him and question him on what he was going. Reven could tell that even at his current stage his wounds were not fully healed but he really need to figure out where exactly DIADS was based. He let the cat talk as it reviled itself as such. Reven sat down with his back on  the outside wall as he mumbled to himself, " Why is it now that I am close I can do nothing but hope." He was a bit upset at this point that he was almost there and now he could not do anything. He looked at his hand as his smoke aura was flaring in his palm and letting out such a stream that it could be seen. He was not caring for any fear it caused in those around him while he watched the aura create a cloud above his hand. He stood up as the aura was a cloud in his hand. He looked really determined as he crushed the cloud in his hand and regained control of his aura. " Fine I guess your right I'll let you finish healing me and then I am gong to see someone about something.
Barely getting any sleep all night, since her mind was full of thoughts, Asuka decided it would be best she just stopped trying to fall asleep, and just got up and made some coffee.
She couldn't stop thinking about all that happened the night before, the boy - Hibari, what the snake-faced man said, and how despite all that the guy that had only known her for an hour or two still trusted her and took her with him, when she was nothing more than a burden.
Suddenly, she got a text, "Speak of the Devil!" she smiled a bit and then read the message "Going back to the bookstore, join me ASAP."
"Well, duty calls!"
The girl gulped down the whole cup of coffee and jolted, already dressed, right out the front door, with her sword, covered in cloth, in hand.
Arriving at the rooftop, she saw her companion, waiting patiently for her arrival, she jumped, hugged him and "Don't be mad, Hibi-kun! I came as fast as I could!!" and kissed him on the cheek.
Anapa
After finishing off his own plate of food from the massive spread Izanami had brought out, the group turned to finally listen to what Masune had to say about his time in hell. After the story finished, Masune made an announcement that he would be going after Muramasa, and both Marta and Daiki told him they would help him out. Making his own decision about all this, Anapa finally spoke up, "If you're going after Muramasa, you're going to need more information before you can just go and confront him. Since he seems to be a threat, I would like to offer my own support to this venture as well." Looking around the room, Anapa waited to see what the rest of the room's reaction to that would be, particularly that of the unusual half-demon who he had just offered help out.
Li Kaguya
As she pulled her rapier back out of the demon, she kept it pointing at him and, with a surge of her aura, channelled lightning through the rapier to char his body to make sure he was absolutely dead. Since the body made no response to the lightning, other than the expected damages to the body, she grabbed a cloth out and cleaned the rapier off from the blood that had gotten over it before turning to leave, letting the clean-up crew take care of the corpse, walking off back to the main group, Hilde having left quickly after the demon died. Upon arrival, she saw that the building seemed to have been secured without finding the demon they were searching for, and returned to the main group, finding a spot to rest for the night. The next morning, when she woke up, the situation seemed to be very typical of these sorts of situations, teams doing a fine comb through the building to try and find clues as to where Muramasa had disappeared off to. With nothing requiring her attention, she just continued to sit against the wall she had been sleeping against, just watching and waiting for what would happen next.
Hibari, a rooftop near the bookstore.
Hibari had been standing on a roof a few doors down from the bookstore, when he suddenly felt a presence rapidly approaching from behind. “You’re late, Asuka.” Letting out a sigh, he spun around just in time to have an air born Asuka wrap her arms around him in a hug. "Don't be mad, Hibi-kun! I came as fast as I could!!" He Hibari opened his mouth to protest, but became frazzled when the girl kissed him on the cheek. His face now a deep red, Hibari was quick to squirm free of Asuka’s grip, before looking embarrassingly off into the distance. “I thought I told you about the no touching thing…”
Suddenly remembering the reason the he had called her out in the first place, Hibari resettled his bright blue gaze on his partner. “I think it’s only right that I told you the reason that we’re hunting Masune. I have no interest in his bounty, or kissing up to the hunter guild, for that matter… “He paused for a moment, not taking his eyes off her. “My goal, no, my reason for living is to kill a certain person… Capturing Masune, will serve to get me one step closer.” Hibari began waiting for Asuka’s response, but was instantly distracted by what felt like a small amount of Izumi’s aura. ‘Here?!’ Darting over to the edge of the roof, Hibari could only scowl at the sight of Aoi, walking the streets below. Though most people would confuse her for a normal human, Hibari could literally smell the small hints of Izumi’s aura that lingered on her clothes.
“Aoi!” Summoning his sword, Hibari leaped from the roof, having no intention of letting Izumi’s most trusted underling get away from him.
Aoi, and the Kappa squad, in front of Izanami's store.
So that’s the plan.” Aoi finished with a smile, as she hoisted the large purse that contained her Fn P90, over her shoulder. Leo and Donny, you guys search the city. Raph, and Michel you’re going to accompany me to an information broker of mine, her store his nearby so it should be quick.”
“Alright, Donny let’s get moving.”
“Right!”
“Just make sure you don’t kill any civilians, boys… or Lady Izumi will have your shells.” Aoi shouted after the two men, as they vanished in a burst of speed. Glancing at her escorts, Aoi adjusted her glasses, before walking off towards Izanami’s bookstore.  “I have the feeling this is going to be an eventful morning~”
As Aoi, and her and body guards neared the store, she heard a familiar voice call her name from above. “Aoi!” Glancing up at a teenage Hibari, Aoi couldn't help but flash a smile. The boy had grown so much since she had last seen him; it was almost a shame that she didn't have time to catch up. Watching as Michel vanished from her side, Aoi proceeded to walk into the bookstore, a bell heralding her arrival. "Helloooo, Izanami-kun!"
Meanwhile, Michel had reappeared directly in front of an airborne Hibari, greeting him with a swift roundhouse kick to the head. Watching as the boy rolled next to some red haired chick, Michel landed with his Nunchaku drawn and ready. “Whatup little dude, it’s been a while!”
Michel heard Hibari mumble something about revenge, then give a very graphic description about how he was going to rip him out of his shell, and disembowel him, normal kid stuff. The man blew a strand of his messy blonde hair out of his eyes, as he took up a fighting stance. “Yea, well you're the one wearing a kimono in winter... With that being said, It’s Kappa time!"
