That I don't like the idea behind the effect ._. plain and simple no?

Why does that have to do with what I said? I said that you could just Compulse him, it isn't hard to get rid off. If you don't like it had nothing to do with what I said.

It has EVERYTHING to do with what you said .-.

Not that, that you said I'm missing the point. I get your point, you don't like it. Let's just leave this behind, I think we're confusing each other enough as it is.

No, what he's saying is that this guy is immune to most ways of removing him from the field and the idea behind that is bad considering how big this guy is. Compulsory is just an exception.

That's the thing. That is one of the ONLY ways of getting rid of him. If you don't have things that remove cards from the field outside the Battle Phase (which this format you probably are), Starform is ridiculous to get rid of. Chances are you're not running over him, and he's going to hit the field whether you like it or not. So unless you do something like Compulse/Dracossack/Big Eye/Grapha, he's not going anywhere and you can sit on him forever.

That, and he's stupid easy to summon being generic. And he has no restrictions. He's a REALLY good card, not as good as he can be due to the format, but he could quite possibly take next format by storm.

I'll be the one to point out there's also torrential/Mirror Force when he's not the one triggering it.

If you summon Starform, opponent cannot activate anything.

You cannot activate Solemn Judgment/Warning or anything else that negates in response to it.

Basically, if the player wants to Synchro Summon Starform, you can't stop it. Okay. So now he's on the field. Once his summon is resolved, you can then target with Fiendish Chain, Compulse, etc. Like, transition to BP or something.

On to the Battle Phase. Starform attacks. You cannot activate anything except for say Tragoedia and Gorz, because those don't affect Starform. Cards like Magic Cylinder, Dimensional Prison, etc. cannot be activated when Starform declares because he's unaffected. Say you have another monster that attacks, THEN, your opponent can activate stuff like Mirror Force and get rid of Starform.

And like Miror said, if you summon another monster, your opponent can Torrential and kill Starform.

This is wrong.

It doesn't say "You cannot activate cards or effects". It becomes unaffected. You can still very well Mirror Force or D-Prison it, it just won't be destroyed or Banished.

Yeah, my bad. Poor choice of wording. But you know what I mean.

You /could/ activate it, but it wouldn't really matter.
