Kyng's Old Account
Flavour: So, this is basically a powered-up Quasar Dragon, as reflected by the effect. It is harder to Summon, nearly impossible to be honest, and can use its effect with more frequency. It isn't very original, though. It seems you've boxed up Quasar Dragon in a nice-looking gift box and expect it to get credits because it is so similar to said card. Sadly, this card's flavour I feel is spoiled because of it. Not only that, but the image for this card is Shooting Quasar Dragon, not your own monster. Even Re-trained monsters have a differentiation in their Artwork to their original in one way or another.Balance: This isn't too original, so it has limited to be said in this respect - the odds of this being able to be used realistically stand slim. Even so, the effect is incredibly overpowered, with the ability to render 3 of any card or effect to be shut down, entirely. This brute of a card can only be driven for one purpose - Instant Win, and a card with that in mind isn't really that good of a card in terms of healthiness for the game.Use: Obviously this is driven for the purpose of either enabling alternatives or outclassing the original Dragon. You've made this so that the original Quasar looks quite meek towards this, really. Of course, this can't be fixed save betraying the card's flavour. Even so, that does not rob this card's potential as being an alternative in these Decks. It may be used in case of a miscalculation for Shooting Quasar Decks. However, being able to get this thing out seems too much trouble. How would you be able to systematically get 5 Synchro Monsters out securely and safely to bring out this card?Fixes: In terms of fixes, well, a better picture. Otherwise there's really not much you can do when sticking to the theme.I won't say I like this. It seems like you've played it too safe sticking to a card in the TCG/OCG and the end result was, indeed, a clone. Can I ask do you think this card, or its counterparts, are better suited in Pop-Culture?
Therrion
Balance/Playability The card is, in theory-oh!, broken. However, the Summoning is so hard to get out I'd rather go for some Creator God play before I went for this. Having 5 monsters is no easy task, especially 5 Synchros, and the fact that you'd need a Lv. 2 Synchro Tuner, 2 Lv. 2 non-Tuner Synchro monsters, and 2 Leve 3 Synchro monsters to Summon it makes it borderline impossible to Summon. So, the balance is definitely there, as it should be, as it is a game ender instantly, but the mere Summoning Requirements make the Playability essentially none at all. The card would be a waste of space in a pack, essentially. Flavor/Originality Well, the card is basically a powered up Quasar, so in that regard, it does have the flavor that is present when remaking/uping the power level of an old card. As said above, not really original, but that is fine to an extent (seeing how you were, again, remaking/uping the power level of an older card). Suggestions/Additional Comments Well, I don't really have any. I can't say make it easier to Summon, as that would just work to entice combo players to want to Summon it and instantly win games with it, and do so they would if this was easy or even possible to Summon. I don't really think Quasar needed a big brother, as Quasar himself is basically a game ender on his own and far more easy to Summon then this guy.
