Shini sits down at the edge of the helicopter.

 

Shini: "Why is the world like this?"

 

Shini looks out into the sky.

 

Shini: "We try to control a power..we never had hopes of controlling..."

 

Shini looks down at the city below him

 

Shini: "And this...is the result."

 

Silence upon the city...

 

The sun sets, night time approaches.

 

Shini: "We better land you guys. It's getting to that time."

 

???: "Those damn Oblivions. Always making us stop when the sun sets.."

 

The Helicopter lands on a building.

 

???: "So, who's shift is it tonight?"

 

Shini:"It's mine."

 

???: "It's one of those days....were the Infected come out...isn't it?"

 

Shini nods his head.

 

???: "Prepare yourself Shini, you might see some people you know."

 

Shini: "I've got my Cards with me."

 

???: "Bring back lots of Drivers, okay?"

 

Shini: "Hey, you know me. I always bring atleast a card back with me."

 

???: "Alright. Gather the others. It's Dinner Time."

 

Shini: "Alright, I'm gonna prepare early, so don't wait for me."

 

???: "Alright."

 

Shini runs through a door.

 

Shini: "Attention all Survivors, gather in the Mess Hall for dinner."

 

Shini's voice is heard throughout the whole base through the intercom system.

 

Shini heads into a room.

 

Shini: "Dad..."

 

He looks down at a card.

 

Shini: "....I'll find you...I swear as long as I have this card to remember you by..."

 

Shini looks at his arm.

 

Shini: "...and this power you passed down.."

 

His armed glowed, then stopped.

 

Shini grabs his keys, and puts a map inside his back pocket. He heads over to his desk, pulling out a box.

 

Shini: "Time to construct."

 

 

 

 

Night falls....

Shrieks and Wails echo...

Footsteps...

The cries of them....

Their cries pierce....

Darkness surrounding....

Shini: "Better head on out."

 

Shini grabs his Duel Disk, and puts a chain around his neck.

 

Shini exits through the door, finding Slash standing in front of him.

 

Slash: "Goin' on your shift?"

 

Shini nods.

 

Slash: "Mind I come with?"

 

Shini: "Yeah, I mind."

 

Slash: "Why, afraid I'll get a Driver and you won't?"

 

Shini: "It's Infected night...I don't want you getting hurt."

 

Slash: "Oh Shut up! You know I can handle!"

 

Shini: "Suit yourself."

 

Shini walked out the door, slamming it into Slash's face.

 

Shini started heading out of the building, when his arm started to glow.

 

Shini looked at his arm, then went outside.

 

OUTSIDE.....

 

Shini: "So far so good."

 

After Shini finished the sentence, a black shaped jumped on his back.

 

Shini: "AHHHH!!!!"

 

Shini's arm glowed with power, using it to grab the Oblivion and throw it to a building.

 

A Group of Oblivion appeared from the destroyed wall.

 

Darkness surrounded Shini and the group.

 

Shini: "Alright, time to duel!"

 

The group of Oblivion combined into 1 Powerful Oblivion, known as an Acrolyte.

 

Shini: "Wow, an Acrolyte. Don't find those too often. Heard you guys are some of the better dueling oblivions."

 

Acrolyte: "Indeed. And we have the best vocabulary, unlike the idiots who made me."

 

Shini: "Your rather nice for a Oblivion."

 

Acrolyte: "An infected was used to make me, and he was a nice person. So are you ready to duel?"

 

Shini inserts his Driver Control into his Duel Disk.

 

Shini: "Yes, yes I am."

 

DUEL!!!!

Shini was left at home a lot as a kid, since his Dad worked for Strife Company. When the Outbreak happened, Shini was exposed directly to the Oblivi Virus. His body was put through a test, and he lived through it, making him immune to the virus. As a result, his Right Arm glows with a special unknown power. Before his father disappeared, he gave Shini a card and said "You will need this one day. You will do great things, my son." Shini is currently with the Survivor Group as a Co-Captain.

 

Casadity

16 Years old

Female

Survivor Member

Little is known about Casadity. She is one of the nicest people in Survivor, a quality that is rare within the group. Shini found her one day about to be infected by an Oblivion, then saved her somehow with his right arm. Casadity has been close to Shini ever since.

 

Cybera

Age 15

Male

Cybera is a young man that Shini encountered once when escaping from a pack of Terror Screechers. Cybera brought him into the shadows, telling him that the future of Planet Earth will come into his hands. The Oblivions are an actual being that a certain someone controls. Cybera disappeared, leaving behind a card for Shini.

 

Bard

36 Years old

Survivor Leader

Bard is the establisher of the Survivor Group. Other than that, not much is known about him. No one questions him though, since they all respect him for helping them live against the Oblivions.

 

Slash

17 Years old

Male

Survivor Elite

Slash is Shini's best friend. Shini saved Slash during a Torenta Attack, and Slash has been grateful ever since. Slash likes to always act calm and cool, but Shini knows inside that Slash is a really good person. Slash has worked his way up to Elite, but is no where near Shini.

.backstory

 

The world was all normal. Shini, 13 years of age, would laugh with joy when his Dad came home. The company Shini's Dad had worked for was the Strife Company. The Strife Company worked on turning a mysterious Virus found in the dark parts of the universe and make it work for them. One day, Shini came with his dad to work, and saw a case of the Oblivion virus. The virus looked like an interesting piece, so Shini grabbed it and was scared by a crew member. Shini dropped it. The virus spread all around Shini. Shini was exposed, but his right arm glowed. Everyone in the factory screamed and ran, but Shini passed out. When Shini awoke, he was totally fine. He ran outside, and saw these weird Creatures he had never seen before. They were jumping on innocent people, biting them, spitting black liquid all over them. Shini's Arm glowed, then he went into the lab. He took his Father's lucky Duel Disk, then headed outside. He saw his Father. Shini's Dad gave his son a card, then spoke to him of his future. He disappeared, and Shini's Arm glowed. Shini brought out his duel disk, and as a Oblivion was about to attack him. A Darkness surrounded them both, and they stood in a Dark Field, both of them wielding duel disks. His cards where different though, with big D's on them. They dueled, then when they field disappeared he was in the real world, the Oblivion gone. Now it's 5 years into the future, Shini is the Co-Captain of the Survivor Group.
