So, Rift is a pretty awesome game. I normally don't take it far with MMORPGs that are free to play, but this one was actually different. I felt like I could play it for a long time. My only problem is that I don't have a friend to play with me, so it only gets boring by that regard.

I admire the flexibility of the class system, how you can be a Rogue that Tanks, or a Mage that Heals and does DPS, etc. You get my point. The roles are more represented by what souls you choose, choosing 3 out of... 9 (I think?) for each class. You get a nice flexibility, and you can figure out which soul tree is best for you, going for a Tank, DPS, Healer, Support, Hybrid, etc.

I could go on and on about the game, but I feel it's not my place to do so. However, I do feel just in saying that I admire the game for what it is.

Sadly, because my laptop can only handle so much of the graphics, I'm forced to play on a LQR setting. I bolstered those settings just enough so I can enjoy the graphics a bit more, but I was impressed by the graphics, even with the LQR setting. I would love to see how the game looks with High Settings and greater. Hell, seeing them maxed out would be a real treat.

That's all from me. Discuss.

My friend wanted me to start playing this game since it became free a few days or so ago. He was already level 60 and decided to help me out. I enjoyed the different classes, but did not like the fact that you had to purchase the full version if you wanted to unlock everything. Overall, the story is good and the Rift's look freaking awesome. Although, I think I might go back to playing Tera.

Eh, it's not like you need to unlock everything. I've managed so far without needing to purchase anything from them. It's a minor inconvenience that I often overlook. It does enhance a certain RPG stand point of not carrying so many bags. How many bags would you honestly carry in an adventure? Not a lot. I find carrying three at most fairly adequate from such a stand point.

Sorry for the late reply on that. Just, summer blues. Y'know.
