It's funny because it makes sense.
Then again, you could also probably make the same sort of image with the rest of the cast, but considering Lesson Zero, the role of a crazy two-faced character would obviously go to Twilight. Plus, the fact she had a slasher-smile just makes this image that much better.
Than again, I just like the strange/otherwise weird images the fanbase makes. So that's probably a reason why I posted this.

Honestly I think that they're just making these shorts to let us know which of the mane six is going to be playing what intrument. I mean so far we've seen Fluttershy with the tambourine and Rainbow Dash with the electric guitar.

 

If anything I'd be willing to bet points on the fact that none of these will appear in the show at all. At. All.

 

Also since there is no new episode this weekend- with the show returning April 19th- I am going to be rewatching:

Okay I don't know if any of you have ever heard of ILoveKimPossibleALot before. To wit she's one of the analyzers for the MLP fandom and has for quite a while been hinting at doing her own personal project. Well she's finally given us a theatrical trailer:

So close to ponyless season. I bet this mirrorverse will be the biggest source of fanfic material during that time, comparable only to the changelings in stories focused about it.

 

Are you kidding? I've already seen a LOT of stories in which Sombra is portrayed in every way you can think of . . . .good, evil, a fallen hero, etc.

I was chatting with Jake over Skype- Jake, one of these days I should try and teach you as to why things like Flash Sentry and Twilight being an Alicorn caused a lot of rage/crazyness among the fanbase while they were still prominent things. That aside, it gave me an excuse to go looking through my favorites on KYM, so here's something I may or may not have posted here before:

Now with that out of the way, this popped up on KYM:

So aside from the fact they are bringing back the infamous Equestrivia, Twilight has to end up going up against 'an enemy from the past'. And considering Celest goes to Twilight for help, it's possible it's another Nightmare Moon-esque instance. That, or the whole Nightmare concept that IDW used, becomes canon in the show. I dunno', that's just my idea.

TP: "What? Oh no!"
 

PC: "Yes! It's very dangerous! That's why you should go ahead and investigate this situation with your friends!"

 

TP: "Ummm...Princess Celestia...can't you do it? Aren't you kinda...immortal and more powerful than I am? Plus you know more about these villains than I have."

 

PC: "No no..it's okay. It's a test Princess Twilight. You like tests don't you?"

 

TP: "Ummmmm....yes, but even if I were to go, can't you at least accompany me? I mean, we don't have the Elements of Harmony, and I don't want ot risk my friends to be in possible danger."

PC: "Yeah that's why you had that weird jewelery box you were supposed to figure out darling. Didn't you do your homework on that?"

 

TP: "Princess, weren't you the one that got caught off guard and would have been tentacle raped by Discord's thorn plants that evaded you from getting this box?"
 

PC: "Yes my dear I was really unprepared for it and I would have done  something about it if I wasn't caught off guard."

TP: "And you were easily defeated by Chrysalis when you weren't caught off guard? And haven't you used to have sealed away Discord and defeat Nightmare Moon?"

 

PC: "Ummmm....yes but..."
 

TP: "Princess Celestia, not to be rude or anything but are you just being lazy and still taking advantage that I'm still your "student"?
 

PC: "Well obviously when you have ruled Equestria for a millennia and raised the sun every day, you obviously get very old and tired with these strains on my magic and on my physique."

 

TP: "Princess, you do bring the sun everyday normally and you're still young enough to still have that cake addiction and plot of yours."

PC: "And that's why to preserve those duties, your job as a princess is totally expendable for me. Now get your friends to this unidentified location which we have never bothered researching about at all and go to it and fulfill your duties as a princess!"

TP: "Are you freaking serious? I never even got to lay my plot on your throne as a princess!"

 

PC: "Yeah yeah you know that you like challenges and tests so have fun! And while you're at it can you fly to Ponyville and deliver me a shipment of cakes from the Cake family?"

I swear to God if it isn't Sombra I will be highly upset. I mean you really can't bring back . . . . okay you CAN bring back Nightmare Moon but I'd prefer they don't (as it'd ruin Past Sins COMPLETELY). The Changlings have been given their time in the spotlight as villains again in the comics and Discord has been reformed- even then he kind of played the villain in the season four opener and we've seen him more than any other villain.

 

People believe Sombra is still alive. He is the ONLY villain not expanded upon and who can still, logically, to me at least, be expanded upon. So Sombra is my vote.

 

Celestia's just a troll.  She doesn't want to deal with anything permanently so she can give those problems to a new generation.  11/10 royalty logic.

 

Well actually not really.

 

1. Nightmare Moon

Most fans believe that Nightmare Moon was supposed to be trapped forever in the moon. Of course this is kind of backed up by the fact that she doesn't believe Twilight when she says the mare in the moon will escape; though I've just recently read another story where Celestia did and had sent Twilight to Ponyville in hopes she'd be able to use the Elements of Harmony in her place, as Celestia couldn't use them anymore. Either way we can assume Celestia either knew Nightmare Moon would never return or that she was going to and confronted her herself. After all, Nightmare Moon DID banish her to the sun so she HAD to have put up a fight.

 

2. Discord

Discord was sealed away, like Nightmare Moon, supposedly forever. As we've seen in the flashbacks Twilight had in part two of season four's opening episodes, Discord was able to f*ck with Celestia AND Luna without a problem. So we can assume she HAD to send the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony since she knew neither her nor Luna would be able to stop Discord on their own.

 

3. Queen Chrysalis

Uh she DID attempt to stop Chrysalis on her own, but was overpowered. She didn't order Twilight to do anything.

 

4. King Sombra

This is the ONLY one I can say that Celestia DID send Twilight to fix everything. Though to be fair she and Luna were about to finish the job only to have Sombra punk them by cursing the entire empire to vanish for 1000 years. Yes Celestia could have gone herself but again I think without the Elements of Harmony Sombra would have the upper hoof and end up winning.

 

After all if this video is to be believed, despite not being an Alicorn, Sombra's magic could work on Celestia:
