Glitch
This was on Facebook today and I have NO idea what it's about. Anyone know!? http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/story?section=news/local&id=9418200 "Child attempts suicide after being bullied at school for being a fan of My Little Pony"

Βyakuya
That's really awful to hear. What was more striking to hear that this victim was about in the 6th grade range. Even for an immature age he resorts to suicide rather than coping. Nevertheless I give my condolences.
Glitch
Why would anybody bully him for this? They're kids, this IS a cartoon. I would understand a couple jokes, but there's not point in pushing someone this far for absolutely no reason.

Jake the Sage
Yeah that pretty much sums it up everyone. Also I just got finished with a livestream by Paleo and BronyCurious. I even got one of my answers, well, answered by BronyCurious! That makes me happy for some reason (^^) My head cannon also proved to be a really good one and I only stopped when the user 'TheLoyalBrony' told me I was getting to indepth with it. Toffee.
Jake, you should come visit me sometime in headcanon land. Mine is so far gone into madness it's hard to tell whats what anymore.Children have no souls.http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KidsAreCruel*Cough*....Not to seem ironic or anything similar to that, of course. You know, it's weird. Why are we basically a bunch of malevolent little f***s growing up, but when we get older, we typically become more chillax and loose a lot of that aggression?Though, to be fair, bullies are usually the ones who are more screwed up, rather then the victims. Especially in this case. No, I'm not defending the kids in question who did that, but like I feel sorry for them, that they went to this extreme over the most trivial matter ever. But anyway, I've been aware of this scenario for a few days now. Basically all of us are hoping things get better for Michael; He didn't deserve that.
The Warden
Well, in terms of the child thing, it's because parents these days are usually terrible, and don't restrict their little turds as much. We either have the abusive parents, the neglectful parents or the spineless ones who constantly cave into the tantrums their little shit throw. This in turn creates children that are so messed up they can only feel better by attacking others; and other times those with no sense of boundaries to the point that they think they can do anything because their is no punishment. And bullies can be messed up, but screwing someone else emotionally and mentally is wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Jake the Sage
Jake, you should come visit me sometime in headcanon land. Mine is so far gone into madness it's hard to tell whats what anymore. Sure. I believe I can pretty much prove that Starswirled the Bearded isn't Discord (83) I even have the timeline down pretty good. Well, in terms of the child thing, it's because parents these days are usually terrible, and don't restrict their little turds as much. We either have the abusive parents, the neglectful parents or the spineless ones who constantly cave into the tantrums their little s*** throw. While sometimes this is true, believe me working for the government has let me see my fair share of parents who don't parent, but there are also those parents who want to but can't because of the legal ramifications that we've placed on them in the last few years. You can't even spank your child without them being able to call social justices and have you get carted away. Same thing goes for teachers. -Berserker-
As good a son as I am, I don't know if I will be a good parent. I will let my mother raise my children because she raised me well enough. Prediction time: At some point during this season, a plant or something like that will sprout in the desert, wasteland or similars. Because reasons. Lonk
Children have no souls. Children have impulsive behaviors and lack control over their motor and mental skills. This means that they are technically impeded and all suffer a degree of mental retardation until their brains develop to combat these flaws. In other words, children haven't hit puberty yet. Toffee.
That was a goof, though, with regards to her wings. And this week's- err..... Today's episode(Since I'm posting at basically 4 in the morning) is probably going to screw with me, if it goes over how I'm expecting it to. Βyakuya
Well I guess they were lazy and recolored a portion of Twilight's image into Rarity's in that single slide. ...Or they are just f*****g us up.
Lonk
Rarihick. Just... Rarihick.
Jake the Sage
Rarihick. Just... Rarihick. I literally did the same thing Applejack did. Which was pretty much just fall over laughing at her attempt to "be country". On the other hand when Applejack switched to her old Manehatten ways the only reaction I had was to just drop my jaw. Though while I was watching this all I could think about was how similar the episodes message was to "Green isn't Your Color".
Βyakuya
RARIJACK INTENSIFIES And for a sec I thought Spike would have had his heart crushed that he sees her admirer adore someone else. Maybe he likes her other than actual love but...he just didn't convey any emotion at all. I mean he does everything for her to get some thanks and adoration. That's all what he wants? Anyway, disregarding that, I like how they extend the "Green Isn't Your Color" episode to see how the characters try to imitate each other by signifying stereotypes...it was just plain funny. And having Tabitha and Ashleigh imitate fancy/country accents at the same time...

The Warden
In regards to Spike, I think he made his peace with Rarity after that whole Greed = Giant Dragon issue. Granted I do love the annoyed look he gave to the audience after Rarity spoke- well, overdramatized unrequited love.
Jake the Sage
In regards to Spike, I think he made his peace with Rarity after that whole Greed = Giant Dragon issue. Granted I do love the annoyed look he gave to the audience after Rarity spoke- well, overdramatized unrequited love. I wouldn't say that he's given up, but more that he isn't going to so actively chase after her. I mean before he was doing everything he could to get into her good graces. Now he really isn't trying to do that but at the same time shows concern for her . . . I also like that we didn't have the entire mane six tagging along uselessly this episode. I don't remember if we had that in Pinkie Pride as well, but here is was definitely noticeable. We only really had Rarity and Applejack; anyone else was just in to play a part or say something. Anyway, disregarding that, I like how they extend the "Green Isn't Your Color" episode to see how the characters try to imitate each other by signifying stereotypes...it was just plain funny. And having Tabitha and Ashleigh imitate fancy/country accents at the same time... That was exactly what I was meaning. In "Green Isn't Your Color" we saw how Rarity deals with her jealousy with her friend Fluttershy. Though she is jealous she doesn't do anything to change the situation. In this episode we see how she dealt with her jealousy to Applejack. I like that while Rarity didn't do anything when it was Fluttershy she was jealous of, with Applejack she actually did something. It shows you how differently she views her friendship between the two. [hr]
Toffee.
Episode didn't kill me. Which was unexpected.Trend being a hipster is pretty silly. Also, lets all agree that this is the episode in a nutshell:
-Berserker-
I expect Fimfiction to be full of Rarijack fics. And Sparity too, of the hurt/comfort type, based off the scene with Rarity crying to Spike about her unrequited crush. Silly fans. And I find it funny how I think I can see what are good fanfic themes and predict the fanfic writers trends, but I never do something about that. I don't really want to write a fanfic until I force myself to finish the one I have.
