Jake the Sage
Okay how to put this . . . This TOTALLY makes up for the debacle that was "Three's A Crowd"! Not only does this have the most songs in a single episode ever, but it was such a character conflict with Pinkie Pie that it makes it possibly one of the best episodes in season four period. Also I checked the credits and was honestly surprised that Weird Al never made a single one of the songs in the entire episode. I was sure they'd give him a chance to make at least SOME of his songs. And when i saw the real life moments I just shook my head and said, "Okay that is WAY too much fourth-wall breaking!" Also Cheese Sandwich has a PARTY TANK!!! Also ALSO . . . So . . . much . . . DERPY!!!! So, will we now take february 2 as RD's birthday? Uh dude today is February 1st . . . . In fact if my calculations are correct for the MLP timeline then RD's birthday is anywhere in July, August, or September. If The Summer Sun Festival is akin to our summer solstice, the only day I can think of that would be important enough to give birth to a celebration, which happens to be June 21st, and we haven't had another Nightmare Night, then RD's birthday has to be around that time. -Berserker-
But taking broadcast dates, Summer Sun Celebration was in september during first season.
Jake the Sage
But taking broadcast dates, Summer Sun Celebration was in september during first season. Yeah I don't take into account the broadcast dates when it comes to the flow of time in Equestria. If merely because different countries get the same episode on different dates or that episodes can be leaked prematurely. No instead I'm going with official occurrences that have been stated within the actual television show. Season Four episode one had Celestia comment that the Summer Sun Festival was the first one that has been held since Luna was given back to her. So plain and simply that means the last Summer Sun Festival was the one where Nightmare Moon appeared, which happens to be the only other instance in which we see or even hear the Summer Sun Festival mentioned. It would also explain why we've only seen one Nightmare Night and one Winter Wrap Up, as it has only been a year since Twilight first moved to Ponyville. Toffee.
This week's episode had at least 8 songs in it. That has to be some kind of record. How Cheese got started, because of Pinkie, is pretty meta in its own right, since the videos that Al tweeted back in 2011, were ones featuring Pinkie. Add to it, the fact Cheese did a slight parody of Pinkie's Smile song, is a reference to the fact that Al does song parodies, so the because his character on FiM did just that, it's both meta, and an actor allusion. So bonus points on that. But in general, the fact that Cheese is, effectively, another Pinkie Pie, that's just absolutely brilliant. And I'm tempted to say Pinkie Sense vs Cheese Sense is a starwars reference, because it could be viewed as like The Force. Or something similar to it.Also, I've probably said this before, but...
This one isn't Spongebob, but its still brilliant:Katamari in Equestria would be outright scary, but also really silly
I feel like it's really uncreative-It's more for the fact its a reference point, on the off chance you want [X] character in [Y] post. Lonk
I don't get 3:10 to Yuma tbh. All I know is that the live-action cut-ins were the best parts of the episode.

Jake the Sage
Same here. I'd rather not actively go looking for that kind of stuff. On another note I loved that Pinkie essentially got her key before she even became the Element of Laughter. Because, y'know, Pinkie will be Pinkie. Fusion Dance? Uh . . . what? All I got from the little article was that the new movie was basically going to be a battle of the bands. Also that the new toys can be interchanged for customization. Not buying the toys though (>>) I prefer the plushies.

Lonk
Pony Creator will always be weird to me, just because the characters created always look lifeless. Also, bring on the DBZesque episodes after the Mane 6 get super forms of harmony.
Jake the Sage
Hub Network We are saddened to hear the tragic news about Michael Morones. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. The outpouring of support from the My Little Pony fans is touching and we are appreciative and grateful to be part of a fandom that honors the themes of friendship, love and tolerance. This was on Facebook today and I have NO idea what it's about. Anyone know!? EDIT: Okay after doing a bit of looking around I found out what the story was about. Apparently Michael Morones was bullied for liking My Little Pony so much that he attempted suicide. From all resources it leads me to believe that he is alright, but the Brony community has donated over $5000 to support and have, as the Facebook post says, been overwhelming.
