-Berserker-
If I ever go to USA, I would do so for better reasons. But if I someday go to a Con, I would try to talk to famous/semifamous people, like Tara Strong or John Joseco, and say "I ship you with my OC"

-Berserker-
I suppose it will be a cool episode. But now that I had my episode of Best Filly, I just want to wait for "Stay Puft Pony takes Manehattan"

Lonk
Of all the most hilarious things to happen in the Power Ponies episode, the fact that Canterlot openly sells enchanted comic books to youths is ridiculous. Βyakuya
Well what an episode. But it all reminded me of the Batman and Robin movie.Looks like Hasbro tackled another supporting episode for Spike to show even as a borderline main-character, he's more than comic relief and is always there for the Mane 6 crew. I do have several comments to concern the episode: -Is it just me or that Twilight is getting even more bigger....especially in terms of her neck? -I honestly didn't see some of the Power Pony designs that appealing, but I did like Twilight's, Applejack's, and Dashie's a lot. And with Rarity, her powers remind me of the wishes from Neverending Story 2. Why didn't she think of something that caused split-ends? Well I guess she does get the hang of it later. And I was very disappointed that I couldn't hear any Incredible Hulk or Powerpuff Girl (or any Superhero references at all) references. Or I might have just missed out on them. -The villain....whatever were name was (I forgot) was basically Poison Ivy with the bad puns of Mr. Freeze and the madness of the Joker in one (More of a Mark Hamill Joker). Well at least she didn't make much hair puns than mane puns. And she really is somewhat stupid as well. Mane barbers and Stylists as henchmen? And what was she doing in the final encounter? Not making the Power Ponies about to suffer incoming death (lower them in the same shampoo that make you crazy goddamnit!), saying a grandiloquent speech in the most annoying way possible, and what was she doing during the whole fight? Just sitting in the cannon, not bothering to fix the machine, nor trying to stop anyone...*facehoof* Of course she does represent the stereotypical superhero villain, but this is kinda pathetic. -Looking at when she neglected to spray Spike, I felt like they over-emphasized the sidekick was worthless, which makes me think: Why did the Power Ponies add him on their team if he really has no super power or is just useless? I get the sympathy but...is it because they're babysitting him or something and in the comics he was nothing but bashed comic relief? I really wished to see at least some pictures of the power ponies and the sidekick because on another note, the Mane 6 are (obviously) too similar to their Power Pony counterparts. That way I could see some clarity. Otherwise I just felt that the lesson in this episode seemed a bit rushed and enforced. And really, Spike managed to get an enchanted comic book from the Canterlot library...Was she trying to find other ways to imprison people or are they just cursed? Nevertheless a normal comic would have been fine. In all I may have been pinpointing at some minor details but...I just think a lot of things in this episode could have been made much better. I brought this up earlier: At the end when Dash talked about her "storm of justice", due to the fact she has the Element of Loyalty, all I could think of was JEREMIAH GOTTWALD AND HIS STORM OF LOYALTY!! Nevertheless a normal comic would have been fine. In all I may have been pinpointing at some minor details but...I just think a lot of things in this episode could have been made much better.

-To be fair to the episode in terms of the Power Ponies adding the useless sidekick, Spike lampshaded it early-on in the episode that the sidekick was only there as a comic-relief. -The entire episode was a homage to DC/Marvel comics, so the villain being a reference to Poison Ivy, being punny, and having typical villain cliches such as having themed henchmen and "Why don't you just shoot him already" trope in play actually helps establish this homage. Unfortunately, I couldn't even remember her name as well. -Rarity's powers were a direct reference to the Green Lantern with how her powers worked. So, it would only make sense that her powers didn't verge on deus ex machina. Also, wasn't Fluttershy and her powers + trigger a reference to the Incredible Hulk? Though, I would have wanted a Powerpuff Girls reference in there as well. -Twilight has been bigger ever since she became an alicorn. I think that had already been established. So yes, while there were some things that could've been executed better, I felt that the episode was done very well because of the fact that it did some or many of the homages well. The intent of the episode wasn't really more on the characters themselves, but with how can a show replicate the comic book universes within the show.
Shradow
We had Fluttershy as the Hulk, Rarity as Green Lantern, Pinkie as the Flash, and Dash as Storm. Applejack might've been Wonder Woman, with her lasso, and I'm not sure who Twilight might've been. I can't think of a superhero who's powers are just abunch of different kinds of beams. Shradow
Spike said she could fire multiple kinds of beams, and we see her fire more than just ice. If all else fails, let's say that she was a very slight, indirect reference to Doctor Strange, or is there an X-Men Mutant with a beam change ability? I think that is it for him. I know that there is a mutant with a beam change ability. There has to be. It's like trying to name a Pokemon that has a very specific action. You know that it exists, but you can't just put your finger on it.

-Berserker-
Well, I will copy this from Big Jim's Twitter TS - Cyclops AJ - Batman/Wonder Woman PP - Flash RY - Green Lantern RD - Thor FS - Hulk SK - Burt Ward Robin https://twitter.com/TheBiggestJim You guys talk about how Mane-iac has elements of several characters, and say you wanted PPG references. You only mention her personality, and forget her abilities seem like a combination of Doctor Octopus and Sedusa.

Now that I look at her, Mane-iac does encompass Sedusa's abilities as well. This episode was awesome.
