The ending of the season premier special was a bit rushed and we didn't get to see much of Sombra at all, but I had no problems with the rest of S3. I even like Alicorn Twilight and how we'll actually get to see something done with that, because one thing I don't like about media is when something like that happens at the end of the series, and we see nothing of it.

The only thing that bothered me about S3 was how we couldn't delve into Sombra's psyche more, and the fact that the last episode felt rushed.  Though, I can't wait for Season 4.  So, what do people here think about the Tombstone Brony's rendition of "Discord"?

I think Season 3 was... alright.

It's no Season 2, that's for sure.

See, here's the thing... They spent too much time on the wrong characters. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to have a Spike episode every once in a while, and Applejack and Pinkie Pie needed episodes too, but one thing I really have to question. WHY would they have TWO Spike episodes but NO Rarity episodes? Clearly someone who's ACTUALLY a part of the Mane 6 should have priority. Also, a lot of the episodes just weren't that good. The Apple Family Reunion was especially boring, and I didn't even WATCH Too Many Pinkie Pie's, for fear of getting a migraine.

Other than Too Many Pinkies and Spike at your service, the season was great. It was also full of fanservice. Scootaloo episode is best episode.

To be fair, guys, Season 3 was sorta' experimental, which is why a lot of the episodes in it are rather outlandish.
And 'Just for Sidekicks' wasn't so much a Spike episode, but rather... It was just to showcase Ponyville while the main 6 was out of town. It's slightly lampshaded, since the episode wouldn't exist in the first place if Spike went along with them. So I guess, at it's core, it's a bit of a filler episode, but hey, concept wise it was interesting.

Also, yes, a lot of people were wondering why Rarity lacked an episode.

ALTHOUGH, what if they are hinting at the possibility that some characters might get more episodes then others?
Season 1-2 kinda' has an even number for the main 6(If I remember correctly), but Season 3 breaks this, which is what I'm getting at.

Oh I bet you'd get a seizure from that episode. It all seemed rushed, especially with the beginning and end specials. It's really the lesser great season, but at least some  of significant things came out of it. Discord and Trixie redeemed themselves, we get introduced to Babs Seed and Lightning Dust, and Scootaloo is acknowledged to be Dashie's "sister". The reunion, Crystal Empire Games and Spike at Your Service episodes were my lesser favorites.

 

And BTW, how is it justified that a number of us in the club get to praise Team Flare...

If that's the case, then Hasbro may be pointing at favorites, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Long story short, it was kinda' sorta' my idea, and I did most of the avatar work.
In all seriousness, though, Team Flare is a stylish bunch.
Plus, if you think about it, they aren't even truly evil. At least, for the information we know now.

Even though I wasn't part of the other incarnations of the club, I could say that this club is handling itself very well now.  There is a plot-load of more stuff to do rather than just keep posting pics of ponies and pony puns, such as discuss the in-universe, development, events, ect.  The key to keeping any club alive and well is diversity, and we have a bunch of stuff to go on if a topic becomes degenerate of usefulness.  That's really the magic of the fandom.

Anyone noticed that Rainbow's ideas to save Rarity in comic #5 involve things like turning herself into a giant and traveling to the past?

 

Not that I think it is a reference.

 

 

 

I am expecting the Scootaloo episode. Due to Faust's comments about her original ideas (that have been derailed somewhat in all this time), no one will be expecting the episode to end with Scootaloo actually flying. I am calling firsts in saying I knew it. I don't think we'll see her family.

 

And I follow the idea that Nightmare Moon will not be returning. It seems we'll be seeing her original fall.

I have no words to tell you how much I like the comics. It was made by bronies and has a lot for bronies, while not being just pure fanservice and having great story. The art is something I really like, very expressive.

I actually remember when Faust also hinted at an episode with Scoot flying.
Gonna' be a pretty crazy day when that happens.

Would also pretty funny, as a slight in-joke, since this would also put Scoot ahead of her other Crusaders, in terms of achieving some form of life goal.
As a result, the other 2 would be obligated to step up their game at the same time, if they want to compete with Scoot.
Also, considering the fact Scoot goes pretty fast on her scooter, and how it's all wing-muscle(wing muscle?), they kinda' sorta' foreshadow Scootaloo potentially being faster then Dash. Which, if you think about it, wouldn't really surprise some of us.

and then Scootaloo masters the Sonic Rainboom at a significantly younger age.

Not really. Just because she can go kinda fast on a scooter doesn't mean she's faster than Rainbow. Consider that Dash can reach a speed of about Mach Five while going at an upward angle with VERY LITTLE acceleration. Being able to go kinda fast on your scooter, as well as being a completely novice flier who couldn't fly for most of her younger years doesn't add up to MACH FIVE UPWARDS. Honestly, I'd be angry if she could do it, just because it makes NO sense. To be fair, Rainbow being able to do the Sonic Rainboom doesn't make any sense either, but I let it slide because it's a kid's cartoon. Scoots being able to do it goes against even MORE logic.
