Again, I believe that people just want to show the universe in a different lighting.  A lighting that shows that the world isn't completely saccharine, and is in a different light.  However, people tend to abuse that lighting for... stuff.  Just look at Cupcakes (Though, to be fair, Sargeant Sprinkles, the author of said fic, did it to see who would actually read something like that).

Personally, I only think that works if it's done in a different time or location. For example, I can totally accept that Equestria sucked more in the past, or that there were huge wars between ponies and Gryphons hundreds of years ago. It seems logical enough. I mean, the royal guards have spears, and there's no way there's no offensive capabilities for magic. And the years when Discord ruled must've been pretty bad, so that's free reign as well. It skewing characters that are already established that I have a problem with.

I just watched Smile, and all I have to say is this:

WHAT THE FORNICATION DID I JUST WATCH!?  Just... wow, really?  It was catchy and awesome, but that looked incredibly painful.  I guess I did ask for it, since I've been wanting to watch that video for a while now.

It's because, despite MLP;FiM's overall cuteness, the series itself has it's own fair share of unintentional nightmare fuel. no, I'm not even talking about the fics, just some antics within the show itself. Lesson Zero, is an example of this.
I mean, as obscure as this sounds, dark-ish artworks of MLP content is kinda' sorta' accurate. But it does have it's boundaries between appropriate, and just-over-the-top WHAT-THE-HELL-AM-I-LOOKING-AT.

Also HBPP's blog itself even poked fun at people asking about Smile HD. The result was hilarious.

The only entity thus far that I know of interacting with anybody in MLP that should cause such lust is Armszzzzzxzghcfzz's beautiful avatar.

I am definitely aware that there are people who find these characters in sexual situations attractive, but this is not for that demography.

Also, that Armzzikndyjeylbgzzz post was amazing.

BODY WASH.

Ironically, it's not just MLP.
I'd say Pokemon suffers from this as well, but you guys probably already knew that.

Ok, weird fetishes aside~
One of the teaser clips for Season 4 is an episode which has Pinkie Pie hanging out with Applejack while she does farm-realted shenanigans, and at the same time, shes singing a family-based song. So this episode could lead to be rather interesting, if they bring in other mentioned families(Rarity's, Twilight's, etc), OR introduce ones who we are unaware of(Fluttershy, Dash, etc)

Maybe the episode orients around Pinkie Pie trying to find her family while at the same time showing family screentime of the other Mane cast. The song in that teaser was very good; defined the Apple Family quite well.

Well to help speed things along waiting for S4. Here's a random image from my computer.

It's number 234 out of 1067.

I usually enjoy this kind of humour, but this was just so....kind of freaky and the blog that it's based from kind of freaks me out a bit as well.

If we get to find out more about Pinkie's family, I hope we get confirmed names for them. I'm looking forward to to Inky and Blinky for her sisters, and Clyde for her dad.

I thought that it was spelled Inkie and Blinkie, though I guess either way works.

Not just pokemon

I hear that Christian Weston Chandler is a brony, but he also has controversial ideas within the fandom.

I've heard the rumours about Chris-Chan being a brony, I have no idea if it's confirmed or not, but for some reason I doubt that he isn't one.

The Pie sisters' names actually HAVE been confirmed to be Marble Pie (Inky) and Limestone Pie (Blinky).  Other than that, Pinkie Pie's parents still have their fanon names.

Well, you have to consider that they work on a Rock Farm, so mineral-based names make sense.  Plus, there's are desserts such as Marble Pie and Lime Pie.  Other than those two factors, there really wasn't anything else clever/endearing about the names.

I guess regarding those two factors it would make more sense, I still think that the names sound overly ridiculous.

It isn't as ridiculous as much as you really aren't used to the fact that it doesn't fit the sequence with the Pac-Man Ghosts.  It's probably more boring than any....thing....else....
