Frontline Revenger, Claudas

Grade 0

Are you ready? It's almost time for the master of shadows to make an appearance.

[AUTO]: Forerunner (When a unit of the same clan rides this unit, you may call this unit to (RC))
[ACT](RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Put this unit into your soul] If you have a grade 3 or greater «Shadow Paladin» vanguard, search your deck for up one card named "Blaster Dark Revenger", call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck.

LORE:
One of the “Revengers”, the warriors who vow to protect the Sanctuary from the clutches of invaders. He uses a bluish purple spear, and is the younger twin brother of Dorint. Before entering the knightly order, he was a mercenary and travelled between small towns. However, after the war had just ended, he was ambushed by a criminal group from another country, which took advantage from the weakened defense of the Sanctuary. He was only saved by the reborn Shadow Paladin. Although he feels honored to fight with “Blaster Dark”, touted as the second hero among the warriors, he is upset that the accomplishment of “Blaster Dark” is not recognized by the civilians, even after he was appointed to bear the title “Revenger”.

In order to annihilate the evil which infests the world, they do not mind what dirty works they must do. This is the proof of the knights of shadow, as heroes behind the scene. To restore the fame of his hero, this young warrior rushes into the battlefield like a flying arrow

Barrier Troop Revenger, Dorin(t)

Grade 1

Feel free to go wild. I will support your resolution.

[AUTO](RC): When a card named "Blaster Dark Revenger" is placed on your (VC) or (RC) of the same column as this unit, if you have a vanguard with "Revenger" in its card name, choose a card from your damage zone, and turn it face up.

LORE:
One of the “Revengers”, the warriors who vow to protect the Sanctuary from the clutches of invaders. He uses a bluish black spear, and is the older twin brother of Claudas. Compared to his warlike younger brother, Dorint fought as a mercenary only for money. He did not fight with any belief before. However, witnessing his sibling being driven into a corner, Dorint was flooded with fear and anxiety which he never felt before. He changed his mind about war. Becoming one of the knights of the shadow, he fought to protect the Sanctuary secretly.

"To protect something, we need to fight. To fight our enemies, we need power." This is the belief of Dorint, mentored by "Blaster Dark" only for once and remains in his mind forever. He fights to ensure no one will feel desolate and desperate again, which he suffered when he saw his sibling in danger. He does not need money, honor or even a word of thanks. He continues his support, for the hero of shadow who fights against the looming catastrophe.

Blaster Dark Revenger

Grade 2

(TD10): Glorification only belongs in the light, shadows will only proceed down their chosen path.
(BT12): The counterattack begins now! Thunder forth, Blaster Dark!

[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (2)] When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC), if you have a vanguard with "Revenger" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's rear-guards in the front row, and retire it.

LORE:
The hero of the shadows who was a key to the awakening of the Ultimate Vanguard with "Blaster Blade", he is one of the knights of the unofficial black knights: "Shadow Paladin". Sensing the evil ambition of the invaders that were quickly approaching Planet Cray, he established the "Revengers", a team specializing in repelling the Invaders, making Mordred their leader, while he took up the position of the group's right hand man, and started acting by investigating the trends and movements of the invaders. He doesn't expect praise, honor or glory or anything banal like that. All he cares about is fighting for his homeland that has been exposed to one crisis after another, and, in order to make sure he never repeats his mistakes again, the Knight of Resolve walks down the path that lies before him.

He will destroy everything that crushes his homeland. Because of that, he changed himself to become a "Revenger"

Illusionary Revenger, Mordred Phantom

Grade 3

Now is the time to show our resolution! Revengers, follow me!

[AUTO] Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (1)] When a «Shadow Paladin» rides this unit, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your vanguards, that unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn, search your deck for up to one grade 2 or less «Shadow Paladin», call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.
[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of that battle.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)

LORE:
The knight who leads the “Revengers”, a group of warriors who vow to protect the Sanctuary from the clutches of invaders. Immediately after the civil war had ended, this mysterious knight appeared from nowhere. It was clear that he worked behind the scenes to rescue the heroes. However, he worked singly, without accompanying with anyone including the Black Horse Troop, and his motive was unknown. Moreover, according to the testimony of elves around the nation, none has heard about a knight with the name “Mordred” before. It was Blaster Dark who made him the leader of “Revengers”, but given that they had almost never exchanged words, the reason for why Blaster Dark trusted him so much was not revealed.

The mysterious black knight of illusion bears the title of “Phantom”. None has yet understood his true motivation from his shimmering scarlet pupils.

13~ card engine that takes up no more space than a ride chain with more-or-less the same functionality. It doesn't misride, though, so that's a plus.

Claudas increases the consistency of getting a Blaster Dark on the board for free removal, and is better than I originally gave it credit for. It means you should more-or-less have a 9K RG to helpyour mid-late game, at worst, and Removal from the deck at best.

Dorin unflips damage, which, in a deck like Shaladins, is actually amazing. The ability to undo the costs you've payed when the costs are so heavy at times, or so lenient in Mordred's case, means you can make even more plays that you'd already exhausted the ability to make. I'd rather it be when it's called/in addition to when it's called, but it's still an amazing card.

Blaster Dark Revenger is a great card because of the consistency of which you can make your major plays with him. He's insanely easy to grab, and is actually Flexible, unlike his previous incarnation. Not too much to say, as he's a BBL clone, but he does have the cards listed here to support him. the fact it needs revengers is a little underwhelming, but it's not awful as the Revengers are just bound to grow.

Mordred is amazing because it's a a 12K or 15K Booster, 14K or 17K Swinger, an sometimes removal and such on top of that for a small CB1 that also gives your current Vanguard 10K more power. It's not as absolutely tied in as the other 3, but more often than not, your targets are going to be Blaster Dark Revenger or Dorin. On the off chance they aren't, you'll be using it for extended calling from the deck or a 10K booster (+5 for the turn), so it has versatility in addition to what it is normally used for.
