Hi, I'm new here, just dropping by-- been thinking about making some cards, maybe even ask someone to make them compatible with YGOPRO.

 

My favorite card is Zoma the Spirit, and right after registering I heard something about roleplaying, which I will definitely check out, as I do like to roleplay from time to time.

 

I am currently working on a humorous novel about wizards going cross-country, as road trips are a concept I'm quite fond of.

Zoma the Spirit is quite the veteran card; are you a casual YGO player, or do you keep up to the meta's standard?

YCM does have an active Role-playing section. What kind of Role-plays do you enjoy? This section does have some rules regarding them, be sure to check them out.

Regarding your novel, YCM also have a Creative Writing section for that. We also have a number of members who actively read and offer critique to the Creative Writing.

Oh, thanks dude! I do keep up to standard on the meta, but ever since I was a kid and I read about a card in a book called "Spirit of Zoma"(which had not yet been released in the TCG), I wanted it. Another one of my favorite cards as a kid was Fake Trap, which I lamented that I couldn't use effectively.

 

I got back into the game a year or two ago, right around Dino Rabbit. I don't usually play the top tier decks, and even when I do, there's an important deviation of some sort. I like to be somewhat hard to predict, since you almost can never counter a deck when you've never seen it before. It's my belief that topping an event means nothing if you're playing the standard deck of the day-- who's going to remember the guy who won worlds play playing E-Drags?

 

That whole personal belief thing aside, I'd actually like to try something new-- perhaps deviate a little from the standard high-magic settings I usually do.

 

Critique? Oh, man-- that's the perfect way to step up my game, so to speak.
