TRPmDVU.jpg

You can Normal Summon this card with 1 Tribute or without a Tribute. If you Tribute Summon this card, the Tributed monster(s) must be DARK. When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Darkforce Harmonizer" from your hand or Deck for each monster Tributed for this card's Summon.

Card B

The Destroyer of Souls

DARK/Level 9

[Fiend/Tuner/Effect]

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by shuffling 10 cards in your opponent's Graveyard or Banished Zone into the Deck. You can shuffle 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard or Banished Zone into their Deck to target 1 Normal Summoned monster; increase its Level by 3 (or less, reaching a maximum of 9). When this card destroys a monster by battle: You can target 1 monster on the field; its Level becomes 1.

Card A:

This card is really nice. I'm not sure if its super omega too good, as a 1 Tribute Dyson Sphere sounds kind of retarded, but I can't argue the fact that it is a playable card. It requires DARK Tributes, the only limit this card has. Recurring Nightmare is lolzy with this guy.

Card B:

This card isn't that great. Its playability is bashed by the fact your opponent needs so much in their Graveyard, which isn't all too likely vs. Decks that aren't Spellbook/Dragon Rulers (and Chaos, but their not T1/2/3 atm). I don't see a point in reducing monster levels, unless you wanted to get cute and use Virus Mail, but that isn't really all to much worth mentioning. The other effect to increase Levels relies on your opponent's Graveyard even more, and further kills other copies of this in your Deck. Over all, I don't see this as a really playable card, especially as a Main Deck monster (this Main Deck not referring to the requirement "Main Deck", but as a "Would I main or side this card" sort of Main Deck). You may side it in vs. the aforementioned Spellbook/Dragon Rulers.

I'm stuck between a somewhat underpowered, conditional sideboard card and a really good monster. I think I'll side with Card A.

I think there is a rule about not using your old cards now, just saying, because the second card I have seen before, though it is a little bit changed from the original, though not really all that much. I kind of hated the card at the time, though now, I don't really know if I find it all that useable. I said that I disliked it since you could easily put a lot of cards in the Graveyard and banished zone, but you later changed it to be your opponnet's, meaning that it is harder to get going because of your opponent needing them. The fact that the contest says "make a playable Level 9 monster" is kinda weird, since both aren't really all that playable. The first is nice for DARK decks, but that's about it, my feeling would be that it should work for any deck, which the second card kinda does, but I probably wouldn't want to run it that much. Card A does good things for the decks it can run it, and creates some cool decks, where I don't think the second really does. Card A is more playable, therefor, my vote goes to it.

Ordinarily I'd find Card A ridiculous, but since there are so few rank 9 xyz monsters, and only 1 that can easily be summoned by its effect, I think its ok. Plus it works with dark tributes only, so although it isn't the most broadly playable of cards, it can be played in any dark focused decks at least.

B is, as has been said, quite awkward to get out. 10 cards can make there way into your opponents grave/removed from play zones if there is some kind of stalling happening, but most of meta decks rely on fast and furious play, so this card isn't going to get the chance to be used much. Dead draw if ever I saw one.

So I'll have to vote for Card A.
