I know this place is dead, but I just wanna write some things down...

I'm sure you've all seen Fullmetal Alchemist, right? It's a show based on the use of alchemy, or in boring and scientific terms... chemistry. The whole concept of the show is the bending and replacement of elements to make something new come out of it. "Equivalent exchange", which is the first and main rule of alchemy. But what if, with FMA deriving from chemistry, there was a manga/novel that derived from PHYSICS in the same aspect? It wouldn't be parallel to FMA, but the concept of the laws of Alchemy and the laws of Isaac Newton are applied in the same matter.

Setting-wise, the world takes place in a futuristic parallel world where people began research on how to "defy" Newton's laws of physics. The research is composed of the use of nanotechnology projected with holograms. These holograms are experimentally engineered to hold energy in packs of data as compact as a nanobyte (1.0 x 10-9 bytes), and can fit through the atomic structure of practically any material and change its properties upon virtually infinite and improvisational programmed commands.

This experimental project was tested on human subjects pulled out of prisons, suicide rooms, and the streets living homeless. These subjects succumbed to an excruciating, if not physically deadly mentally deadly, procedure of stringing hydraulic pipes the diameter of wires through their bloodstream, which contain the data used to project the "Nanojections", as coined by the physicists. These experimental subjects were then tested to see if the nanojections worked with their biology, and upon passing, they were released into the world as "Atomorphs", a new and upgraded human species capable of abilities matched by only God.

However, the Atomorphs are not all bells and whistles. With only a prototyped form of technology in them, they were prone to weaknesses. The main one is their heart; it must be pumping at a regular and relaxed pace for the nanojections to be controlled properly. If affected by an accelerated heart rate and blood flow, the effects of the nanojections, if applied, are amplified greatly, causing an unstoppable chain reaction in altered properties of the environment and the composure of the Atomorph's biology, which could result in biological rupture, molecular collapse in the surrounding area within a several-mile radius, or both if not maintained within seconds. With these weaknesses in mind, the Atomorphs trained their bodies and minds to keep their abilities under control, making them the biggest threat to mankind who hide in plain sight, undetectable by technology behind their own and able to strike at any moment if provoked.
