Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I don't know why people don't like Hammer Shot in a gadget deck. You'll, 99% of the time, want to use Hammer to get rid of a higher attacker than your Gadget. If there are none, you can just roll over with the Gadget and save Hammer Shot. CrabHelmet
Ew, it's Four-Point-Eighth Gadget. Run Seventh Gadget or Six-Point-Seventh Gadget instead.
The Slime Lord
What exactly does that mean?
CrabHelmet
Numbers in the names of Gadget decks refer to the proportion of the deck that consists of Gadgets. 9 Gadgets / 45 cards = 9/45 = 1/5 = 1/5th Gadget = Fifth Gadget9 Gadgets / 43 cards = 9/43 = 1/4.8 = 1/4.8th Gadget = Four-Point-Eighth Gadget6 Gadgets / 42 cards = 6/42 = 1/7 = 1/7th Gadget = Seventh Gadget6 Gadgets / 40 cards = 6/40 = 1/6.7 = 1/6.7th Gadget = Six-Point-Seventh Gadget 6 Gadgets are usually better than 9 Gadgets, especially when you want a smaller deck so that you can draw Royal Oppression faster. The Slime Lord
Thanks. I guess I'll go with Seventh Gadget.
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
Cyber Dragon??????????????????????????????????? Oppression Gadgets should be the "normal" Gadget variant.
The Slime Lord
After taking out the extra Gadgets, I took out Cydra for Drillriod.
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
Why is Blue Thunder not maxed? Why is Kycoo maxed?
The Slime Lord
So 1 Blue Thunder for 1 Kycoo? Okay. That will make next week at locals a little easier. (I got 1st today!!!)
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
Why is Blue Thunder not maxed? Pot of Avarice Monster Reborn?????????????????????????
The Slime Lord
Why is it not maxed? I just don't have 3 of right now. That will change next Saturday. As for Pot and Monster Reborn, it would help if you just write what you think instead of typing a bunch of question marks.
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
It's pretty obvious what "???????????????" means. Why is Solemn Judgment not maxed?
The Slime Lord
You want me to take them out, right? What do you want me to take them out for? As for the Solemns, I don't have them. When I made proxies of them, they actually never helped. I ended up getting screwed. Then again, that was probably me acting like an idiot. :P I'll probably try them again, but it's not like I'll ever get an actual copy.
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
And finally, do you honest expect Vortex to pay for itself, let alone net advantage in a deck that runs 20+ monster destruction cards?
The Slime Lord
Good point. About half of it is monster destruction.
CrabHelmet
When constructing an Oppression deck, remember that anything that Special Summons a monster is inferior to Oozaki.
The Slime Lord
So that means no Monster Reborn, eh? It never really helped me a ton anyway. :/
CrabHelmet
So that means no Monster Reborn' date=' eh?[/quote'] Correct. It never really helped me a ton anyway. :/ That's because it's an Oozaki.
The Slime Lord
Okay. And I should max Blue Thunders because I'm doing 800 more damage?

The Slime Lord
You wanted me to read this, right? Cards that Special Summon monsters when destroyed in battle' date=' such as "Shining Angel" and "Mystic Tomato", [b']all Special Summon monsters during the Damage Step, and as such, "Torrential Tribute" and "Bottomless Trap Hole" cannot be used against them[/b], since these cards cannot be activated in the Damage Step. Same also applied when "Cyber Jar's" Flip Effect is activated when flipped up as a result of battle. For the same reasons, "Royal Decree" cannot be used against Trap Cards like "Skull Dice" in the Damage Step, since it does not alter ATK or DEF. So Blue Thunder would not be destroyed?
CrabHelmet
Actually, I was referring to: n the Damage Step' date=' only certain cards and effects may be activated. These include: * Counter Trap Cards ("Solemn Judgment", "Dark Bribe"). * Normal Trap Cards, Continuous Trap Cards, and Quick-Play Spell Cards that alter the ATK and/or DEF of one or more monsters on the field ("Blast with Chain", "Rush Recklessly", "Castle Walls", "Reinforcements"). * Trigger Monster Effects that activate automatically ("Shining Angel"). * Flip Monster Effects ("Cyber Jar") * Some Multi-Trigger monster effects ("Kuriboh", "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8"). * Any card whose text specifically says it may be activated during the Damage Step ("Nutrient Z"). * Cards that do not meet the activation criteria, but whom Konami/UDE have stated may be activated in the Damage Step ("Null and Void", "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8") [/quote']
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
Solemn doesn't negate special summons in damage step. But they can be chained to Shrink or whatever.
HORUS
Does the same thing with Blue Thunder apply to Hydrogeddon? This deck is good. I've played it. It crushed my DDT (not Plant DDT, which sucked). But somehow I can beat this with an Aggro "Monarch" (only 3 Thesty) deck. dunno how, but it did.
