I'm just glad I saw the second image on Bulbapedia after seeing the episode title, although until it was mentioned here, Sparky was pretty much the last thing on my mind. I might even stretch to think that the end of the trailer is an idiot magnet (no offence). Sure I can see why people would make that assumption at first, but then you decide to re-watch the trailer, paying close attention just to make sure.*

*And on that note, there were some things I did overlook when I first saw the trailer, like the device on Ash's/Ash-Greninja's right wrist, Olympia under Zygarde. (In my defence, there was the wall of text in front of her)

I think its totally defensible to think that might be Sparky. The hair tuft is similar and you can't really see the trainer in the trailer. HOWEVER we have a preview image for the episode and we see the trainer there.

I saw it on Greninja but didn't realize Ash had one too. Maybe thats what allows Greninja to not be covered in the water cloak. Though I checked the movie trailer and the device wasn't on either of them there.

I figured that was Olympia's room from the design of it. Nice to know she is still watching to see what the coming disaster is.

- I can see why it is defencible, although I didn't know that there was a new trailer until you posted it and I had already seen the preview pic 4 hours prior.

- That seems like a fair shout, and it's probably there for the one episode or something.

- I agree it is nice to see her continuing to watch. Ofc the only reason I overlooked her was because my gaze was fixated on Zygarde.

EDIT: Subs for XYZ-17 are out.

I would've posted this yesterday if net was cooperative and would let me watch it ON TIME.

[spoiler=112 stuff]

Serena didn't win, but she gave it a good effort. Also enjoyed the alternate version of Dream Dream playing in the end. (TBH, I preferred her performance over Elle/Aria's). Though, she was kind of lucky that Sylveon saved the routine (although it did lead to a sprained left wrist). I was kind of hoping it'd be a regular battle and not another free performance (then again, Showcase never has battles; except for that dance party).

In the end, even Palermo was impressed with her performance (well, supposedly since Serena showed that she had the resolve to go on, even with the injury and her loss this time around). Or rather, whatever she said back in XY108.

Probably would've liked to see how Serena, Shauna and Jessie did in respect to each other (we know Serena won), though likely irrelevant at this point.

Spoilers for future episodes look promising though; Ash's final badge (and eventual league conference is approaching) and yes, Ash's rematches against Diantha/Alain.

I REALLY don't think thats where the base is. I don't think much time past after Z1 fled the base and to have gotten to the other side of Kalos in such a short time seems a bit much.

It's where the weapon is. Maybe the plan is they use the Yveltal's power for the weapon to wipe out the world, then use the weapon to restore life with Xerneas and grant everyone and everything with eternal life, with and then use Zygarde to bring the world under Lysandre's order.

It's the perfect plan.

We've been given 0 indication that the other two legendaries are involved in his plan. Again, the anime has taken a pretty large turn from the games with XYZ.

We'll just have to see what Team Flare does, but yeah don't expect it to be close to how the games function. Maybe Xerneas/Yveltal will have something to do to a minor extent, but perhaps they will not. We do know that 100% Zygarde is to be expected eventually.

I did watch XY109 subbed, but likely the same thing I said back in the RAW.

Think we're still waiting for the Western areas to get the shinies too, especially since XY&Z already aired in English. (if only I lived 3,900 miles west of where I am now [distance between me and Japan]).

If Xerneas/Yveltal appear, likely will be their regular coloration (but again, it may not show up considering that XY&Z detoured from the games). Team Flare arc will be amazing to watching when they come into focus (after the league or whenever).

And yes, Ash still needs a 6th Pokemon. Would be nice if he catches the shiny Phantump (if it's wild), but I don't know. (After a while, shinies tend to belong to characters of the day or other people who we'll forget about in a few episodes)

Phantump is Ghost, so that would be nice to have for him (and something that isn't vulnerable to Electricity, bar Noivern's neutrality and obviously Pika). Plus, it'd give him another Shiny to play around with.

But yeah, if they keep up with the trend of Ash always getting a Grass type (albeit them being starters), then he'll likely get one. That might be it, but still gotta wait.

(Ah right, no episode this week due to them moving stuff)
