~British Soul~
Whilst we're on the subject of Mega 4, one thing I noticed was that Venusaur's Venoshock poisoned Charizard, except Venoshock doesn't cause poison in the games. (its power increases if the target is already poisoned) EDIT (Friday): new episode titleEpisode 902: Welcome to the Ninja Village! The Legend of the Hero Greninja!! (December 3rd)This episode features the return of Sampei and his Greninja. And I know it's a month away but I reckon Ash's Frogadier may evolve in this episode, and if not I reckon it may happen at some point in December. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Whilst we're on the subject of Mega 4, one thing I noticed was that Venusaur's Venoshock poisoned Charizard, except Venoshock doesn't cause poison in the games. (its power increases if the target is already poisoned)That's true; another example of anime move errors. If Venusaur had used Toxic instead, then it'd make more sense since it DOES poison. Then again, its Trainer was as arrogant as a certain kid in another anime; Charizard creamed him good though. Would've liked to see what the 2 last Mega Pokes before Malva were.If I remember correctly (some of them not in exact order, but yeah) Venusaur -> Alakazam -> Heracross -> Scizor -> Pinsir -> Ampharos -> Aggron -> ? -> ? -> Houndoom ----------[spoiler=94 thoughts]I was kinda expecting Chespin to evolve in this episode, but guess not.Quilladin had a crush on Eevee, but got rejected (it then tried to flirt with a Flareon [not a good idea]). I would assume Puni-chan/Zygarde Core would've transformed into 10% if Ash hadn't shown up when he did. Well, guess Team Rocket isn't going away anytime soon.I've already expressed my opinion on them quite a bit by now; they're getting annoying and don't offer anything new to the story. (They have some good appearances, but overall yeah you get it)
Astro Dude
Remember when they skipped the episode title for today? XY087: A Trip Down Memory Train! Also: Airdate of XY090 in America: December 5, meaning: XY091: Cloudy Fate, Bright Future! December 12XY092: All Eyes on the Future! December 19. You don't need to be... no, not another pun. Explaination: The XY season 2 finale deals with psychics and the punchline for the above statement was "You don't have to be Psychic to know that." Um, am I the only one confused by the fact they skipped over XY090? I'm sure this will be corrected.

Then again, its Trainer was as arrogant as a certain kid in another anime;Funnily enough, when I watched the episode RAW, I did assume it was Toxic To be fair, the kid does resemble Weevil, but yeah assuming fire wouldn't work on Mega Venusaur, yah that kid is an arrogant retard. Would've liked to see what the 2 last Mega Pokes before Malva were.If I remember correctly (some of them not in exact order, but yeah) Venusaur -> Alakazam -> Heracross -> Scizor -> Pinsir -> Ampharos -> Aggron -> ? -> ? -> HoundoomYeah, I would've also liked to have seen what the other 2 Megas wereThey had to be Megas Alan hasn't faced. (ie; Abomasnow, Manectric, Aerodactyl) [spoiler=94 thoughts]1: I was kinda expecting Chespin to evolve in this episode, but guess not. 2: Well, guess Team Rocket isn't going away anytime soon. [spoiler=Response]1: Funnily enough, I wasn't expecting Chespin to evolve on the grounds that Chespin was seen on the XY&Z poster. 2: Ofc Team Rocket aren't going away anytime soon. Olympia did say that they'd play a prt in the upcoming conflict.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
1. I was referencing another kid (the one who got compared to Shinji lately), but yeah kid looks more than Weevil.Technically, Fire will work on Venusaur; just that it effectively reduces to normal damage because of Thick Fat. 2. Megas that Alain hasn't fought (in X&Y)Charizard YGengarKangaskhanGyaradosAerodactylMewtwo (though kicking this out of the list)BlazikenGardevoirMawileManectricLucario (doubting it, since it already had two appearances in regular X/Y)Abomasnow Could be some OR/AS ones, but we don't know. ~British Soul~
Like I said last week, I'm speculating that Lysandre's mega is Gyarados (tiny speculation that it's shiny too lol) given the beginning of Mega Evo 4. So looking at that list, I crossed out Gyarados. Also, if you remember, Mega Mawile made an appearance in XY as well, during the Korrina arc. Also a Mega Blaziken is owned by Clemont/Eureka's dad so I'd cross those two out as well.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I remembered that Maple (or whatever the dub made it) had a Mawile when she appeared.By that note, might as well cross off Gardevoir since Diantha has one. Lysandre probably has a Gyarados, assuming that they decide to follow the games and all (likely they will).
~British Soul~
Forgot that Diantha existed, whoops. But yeah, with Lysandre's mega ring on his finger and the fact he grasped the Gyaradosite at the end of the beginning narration of Mega Evo 4, it does look pretty likely. Astro Dude
Basically, uh... are Ash and Alain fighting against Team Flare but are on opposite sides of the law?
Lizardonx
I like how Alan has the spirit of egao now.
Flame Dragon
Basically, uh... are Ash and Alain fighting against Team Flare but are on opposite sides of the law? No, Alan is 100% working for Team Flare. The conflicting thats likely going to end up happening is that he is going to try and get Squishy from them since Flare likely needs it to help Chespin. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Basically, uh... are Ash and Alain fighting against Team Flare but are on opposite sides of the law? From the opening, Alain is with Team Flare / Lysandre. EDIT: Ninja'd I like how Alan has the spirit of egao now. I don't think Yuya had anything to do with him wanting smiles.Oh wait, maybe...he wants to see Mairin smile and will do anything to see hers return. ~British Soul~
I like how Alan has the spirit of egao now.If anything, he has Yuto's soul in him because he entered Berserk Mode towards the end of Mega 4, but I know he will do anything he can to restore Manon's smile by healing her Chespin.Should be interesting to watch. EDIT: Ninja'd
Astro Dude
What if Marin accompanies Ash and learns of the horrible things Alain has done? BTW, Anistar Pokemon team for Anime Playthrough: Drapion, Lv. 45Greninja: Lv. 49Heracross: Lv 46.Dwebble: Lv 42Gengar: Lv. 42 + GengariteGolurk: Lv. 47. A perfect mix of Bug, Ghost and Dark types. Three of Psychic-types greatest weaknesses.
~British Soul~
Doubt it, Manon is at Lysandre labs looking after Chespin. I don't see a reason why she'd leave its side.
Astro Dude
Uh, maybe because she's in the lair of the bad guys. And what if Prof. Sycamore found out Alain has gone Anakin.
~British Soul~
Well Manon doesn't know they're really the bad guys and she put her faith in Lysandre and the staff to heal Chespin, not to mention Alan is also helping to restore Chespin as well. Flame Dragon
Uh, maybe because she's in the lair of the bad guys. And what if Prof. Sycamore found out Alain has gone Anakin. Also, Alan isn't bad. He doesn't know Lysandre's real plan and he certainly feels indebted to Lysandre for all he's done for him. Not to mention he is bound to feel responsible for what happened to Chespin because of what he said to Manon and will likely do everything he can to help her. ~British Soul~
New episode titleEpisode 903: Decisive Battle in the Ninja Village! Frogadier vs Bisharp!! (December 10th)So as you may expect, this is a continuation of the episode airing on December 3rd, so we can defo expect Frogadier to evolve here. Flame Dragon
New episode still isn't out, but we look to have some more anime info in the latest corocoro. The second has been shown and its a little different from the first with a blue center. This makes sense given the 100% form has both a Blue and Red half and that both would be needed to control all those cells.
~British Soul~
Just looked at the CoroCoro stuffs (before coming here ofc), and honestly I'm not surprised there's a second Zygarde Core with a blue core because of what you said about 100% having a blue side n' such.
Astro Dude
Maybe there's a red core too. You know, for the red side. Also, Methinks the dub shall taketh a break and resume in February.
~British Soul~
*facedesk* There is a red core doofus; Squishy/Puni-Chan. EDIT (Thursday): In the meantime the subs for the second episode are out Also[spoiler=Thoughts on 3]- We haven't seen an Audino as Nurse Joy's assistant since Best Wishes, although the Audino was certainly stubborn and the Nurse Joy didn't like being lumbered with it in the flashback.- Meanwhile, Sycamore explains that he wants to do research on Puni-Chan.
