I found it
https://youtu.be/PoXFwAvWxHs

The redone gym leader scene is cool, the bit with Alan is hype foreshadowing, Noibat looks like another goose egg for Ash to raise up, and the scene with eve was tots adorbs. I liked.

Given that the episode has been online since a few minutes prior to my previous post, I kinda feel like posting a link to the opening on YT wasn't needed imo.

There definitey is foreshadowing hype with Ash/Alain, noone can deny that, and I also found the redone gym leader scene cool too.

Some people are lazy. I mean I am, but my curiosity>my laziness. Wonder when the two will meet. The intro leads me to think soon, but it could still be a while.

I think it may be a while before the two will meet given there's another Mega Evo episode coming later this year.

Sad thing is still no Wulfric.

It's still too early for him to be included in the opening so I don't see how that's a bad thing at all imo.

In terms of Sylveon, Serena might get one depending how well she pampers that Eevee.

Or she could very well go for the other ones [although the Kanto ones might be out of her reach, unless she somehow gets an evolutionary stone].

Leafeon is somewhat iffy, unless they get to Route 20 (which will be a very long time).

I'd say something about Espeon, but not sure if that will be an appropriate Eeveelution for her.

Basically, it's either Espy or Sylveon for evolutions until more is revealed.

---

Episode this week was basically filler stuff, so no words on it.

You never know. Pokémon have been shown with egg moves in the anime before. ie the Croagunks with Vacuum Wave and Cross Chop.

Also, the Ash meeting Alain thing does have some premise. I forgot that Alain returned to Kalos (specifically Lysandre Labs) following the events of Mega Evolution 3.

EDIT: Subs for 70 are out.

EDIT 2: As I suspected, Shota owns the Bagon.

Since episode 70 is finally subbed and I actually have some time I got around to watching it. Really good stuff. Tension was there throughout, Ash continues his shonen ways by being thrown up to a plane and jumping from said plane to catch Goodra, and the goodbye with Goodra was well done. Also, while I still think its kind of dumb, the ending theme has grown on me a bit.

Some filler is one the way next, but 6th badge will be obtained soon.

Watched the latest episode, and it was essentially Team Rocket-lite, in the sense that they didn't even appear until the last 25 seconds of the episode (even then they were on screen for 10 of those seconds).

One thing I will say though, when Gengar appeared as Ash's shadow, its design was similar to the literal ghost from Gen 1.

I probably couldn't care for how Shota (or whatever his dub name will be) sounds in English; although that can be attributed to me skipping dubs lately.

As for the episode itself, indeed Serena got freaked out.

Heck, Citron was even more so (I think only Ash and Eureka/Bonnie didn't freak out).

I can definitely say Ash/friends were reasonably shocked when they find out Cole is at least 250+ years old and dead (if we assume that Pokemon dates are relatively close to ours).

Then again, up until now, we haven't had an idea of when the whole series takes place (in-universe); although Ash never ages [not even 1 year].

At least no Team Rocket until the end, which does make me happy. (Recall that I more/less have a negative opinion of them nowadays, due to them being around for so long.)

---

71 is skippable, since yeah filler.

Nothing you really need to see, except for Team Rocket pissing off a trio of Pangoro by stealing their apples and causing everyone to split up.

(Then again, this week's one is also filler, but you get the Scary House [which was more of a disappointment in-game], so there's that, I suppose)

---

Hopefully they show the Poke Ball Factory later on.

To be fair, I'm more or less feel the same. I've been used to watching subs lately.

Indeed, in fact I didn't even care when the subs came out because I didn't see the point in watching the episode subbed.

I kinda do. In fact, I welcome it. Imagine, Shota vs. Valerie this week and the dub voice is this Saturday, in America.

Which reminds me, I'm gonna withold my battle with Clemont in Pokemon Y until the episode airs. Got my team already set. Since Electric Pokemon have a weakness to Ground-Types, I have a Ground-type majority team:

A recently acquired Golem level 32. Moveset: Magnitude, Rock Blast, Rock Polish, Smack Down.

A Dugtrio also Level 32. Moveset: Bulldoze, Mud Bomb, Magnitude, Sucker Punch (Seriously, why did the Americans ruin Total Drama Island ?)

A recently evolved Gabite, Level 37. Moveset: Sandstorm, Dragon Claw, Dig and Dragon Rush. Had to keep it as a Gible until that time.

A Krokorok, Level 35. Moveset: Dig, Crunch, Sand Tomb, Assurance. I'll probably switch Assurance with something else.

A recently evolved Vibrava, also Level 35. Moveset: Dig, Crunch, Dragon Breath and Rock Slide.

And A Marowak, like my Gabite, Level 37. Moveset: Bonemerang, Bone Club, Bone Rush and False Swipe.

Not a bad team huh?

But anyway, I'm concerned about those Furisode Girls. What tricks do they have up their sleeves?

And, I swear, Tierno must be learning his dance moves from Miror B.

So I saw this on Serebii earlier; I will admit though, I figured that we'd see cosplay Pikachu at some point, but I somehow forgot to bring it up. (Though I did discuss this with a friend a couple of months after ORAS came out)

The TV Tokyo website has updated with details of a special airing on June 18th 2015. This special is called the Pocket Monsters XY Pikachu the Movie 1 Hour Special and features a story where an old man asking Ash's Pikachu to star in a movie, but an outbreak of Pikachu appears, causing issues, which appears to be separated into four episodes;

"Pikachu Becomes a Star!? Its Movie Debut!!"
"How to Pikachu the Movie! All Right! Action!!"
The Thunderclap Hero! Super Pikachu!!
Pikachu's Thrilling Failure Award

Also, wild new episode title(s) appeared.

Episode 879: The Wind, The Egg & Noibat!! (June 11th)

Episode 880: The Pokémon Sky Rally Challenge! Fly, Noibat!! (June 18th)

It appears Pikachu has chosen to wear the Luchador outfit then.
Hmm...

As for the new title, that'll likely be when Ash catches Noibat.
Won't be as cool as Goodra, but at least he has another Dragon.

BTW, any word on the subs for 72?

They are up on the place I use so I'd assume the same will be true for where ever you watch.

Got around to watching it. Episode was cute, particularly Eureka and her nerves of steal. The twist was predictable, but I still enjoyed it. Also loved the theme Gengar was playing on the piano.

Yeah, Anime4Fun had it up two days ago (I watch it there).

But in any case, Eureka is almost never scared of stuff (I don't recall moments where she was though); as opposed to Citron/Clemont who basically doesn't like a lot of things [especially the Scary House].

Indeed though, Gengar playing the piano was cool (definitely sounded like stuff you'd hear in those old movies and all).

----

I'm actually still wondering how Cole actually prepared the food/tea if he's a ghost. Considering that he was able to reveal the trapdoor underneath the rug, I'm going to assume that he can still touch physical objects (even if he is dead); either that or his Pokemon did the work.

Subs have his name as "Corps" (which probably makes sense, since he is no longer living).
