Yay, let's wait like 20 billion episodes to confirm the gender of Jessie's Wobbuffet. (Which is male)

- But this is only because this is the first time that a female Wobbuffet has appeared in the anime, thus auto-confirms Jessie's as male.

Next week we have Aria returning (Who has an Aromatisse now along with Delphox), and no you are not allowed to gloat as it was an assumption that many people would be able to make and get it right.

And also we know with a Braixen appearing, Serena's Fennekin will evolve as well.

Also (this only concerns myself really), the channel Citv confirmed via twitter a few days ago that they will be showing Season 18 starting in April. (Still no word about the Diancie movie though)

EDIT: Speaking of movie stuffs, we have a new trailer (The Pokemon Company has only uploaded a short version of the trailer)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0E4CXSWG2oU

(I see Noibat, Snorlax and Torchic here at the end, inb4 they're just there for the Pikachu short)

and some characters:

From left to right: Mary, Barza and "The Traveler"

We did already see these characters on the poster of the movie. (The Traveler held the bottle that is used to change Hoopa's forme), but we now know the names.

EDIT (Thursday 12th): Blah blah Aria appeared again and Serena's Fennekin evolved blah.

Regarding Sliggoo's evolution, I would suspect that it might be a case of a game mechanic that will not be applied in the anime, unless it rains in the episode. (That much we don't know at this point)

About Shota's note-taking in the episode, he was writing down some advice that Clemont gave him, but will need to wait for subs to know exactly what Clemont said.

Also, if you read my post, I said "AT THE MOMENT", that doesn't mean my expectations of Shota will remain the same.

I already seen the subs for that episode, so I'll ironically watch the episode when it comes out on TV over here in May.

There was one thing I was discussing with my friend at work yesterday. This is regarding the running gag with Bonnie proposing to women for Clemont. Both of us came to the conclusion that Bonnie is getting ahead of herself. We don't know how old Clemont is but we suspect he isn't 18 (He doesn't look 18 to me), thus cannot get married yet.

So it was confirmed at the end of today's Mega Evolution Special that "Mega Evolution Act IV" will air in the Autumn.

Next week, Goodra time, and yes the preview confirms that it will be raining when Sliggoo evolves, so NO "I told you so", because it was practically a given anyway.

Damn, Mega Evolution Special Act III kicked so much ass!! There was a freaking Kaiju battle, and the plot moved forward way more than ever!! Definitely looking forward to the next Act! They are upping the scales with each new installment!

I agree, the Mega Evolution Specials are getting better every time. YuyaAlan definitely is an awesome protagonist.

Also, blah blah, Tierno reappeared (and lost his battle with Ash) and Sliggoo evolved (in the rain, which we all saw coming) blah.

EDIT: In this episode Sliggoo evolved during the effects of its own Rain Dance. Of course, in teh games, Sliggoo's evolution doesn't work that way (overworld rain only).

Next week, the return of Blaziken Mask and Mega Blaziken

Pfft, I dunno, not like I care anyway (If I did, I'd actually be counting, lol), I mean it's only hair after all.

Mind you though, I am calling BS on Sliggoo's evolution because even though it was raining, said rain was from Sliggoo's Rain Dance and in the games rain from Rain Dance and Drizzle doesn't trigger Sliggoo's evolution. The writers dungoofed here as it wasn't natural rain, it was self-induced rain.

I was talking to a colleague at work about this and when I told him how Sliggoo evolved, he responded: "What do you mean Sliggoo evolved in the middle of its Rain Dance attack? That's not how the mechanics of its evolution work you stupid writers."

Another thing to note; Tierno confirms he got the Voltage Badge from Clembot prior to his Squirtle evolving.

I knew that already from when my previous post was edited.

Wild new episode titles appeared:

Episode 872: A Fight in the Wetlands! Goodra VS Florges!! (April 23rd)
Episode 873: Conclusion! Goodra, Go Over the Rainbow!! (April 30th)

Well... we get more episodes focusing on Goodra, and judging from the episode titles, they seem to be a two-parter.

There have been a lot of rumours that he will release Goodra, because apparently it doesn't appear in the future trailers. I really hope he doesn't, I love Goodra.

Actually thinking about it. I can believe those rumours. If Goodra would still be on Ash's roster, then surely it would've appeared with the other mons in teh trailer for the 2015 Pikachu short (or its corresponding poster).

If he does release it though, I hope he replaces it with Noibat or something.

Calling it now: Ash will capture the Florges in teh April 23rd episode (There is a Florges on the poster for the upcoming Pikachu short)

The last time he "released" a pokemon back into teh wild was back in the original series, in this case; Lapras

Ofc I don't want Ash to release Goodra though, it's his first FE Pseudo-Legendary and it's a powerhouse in its own right.

Thought so. Yea, its been a while.

And I'd rather he not, but based on how fast it hit its final form (its been what, 3 months) something is obviously going on here.

I agree, he's only had it for like 10 episodes. If it was a bug-type I can forgive (because of how fast they evolve), but this is a Pseudo Legendary we're talking about here.

Though I remember back in DP when Dawn's Piloswine evolved into Mamoswine 2 episodes after it had evolved from Swinub (Though it was a Swinub for liek 20 episodes)

I suppose the 2nd of the revealed episodes have them reach Goodra's homeland or something...

I also wouldn't like him to release Goodra either, but there's strong indications that it may happen.

I feel like this part of the title "A Fight in the Wetlands!" suggests they do reach its home since Goomy is caught in the wetland type area north of the 5th gym. My guess is Ash leaves it behind so it can protect the area from future attacks or something.
