[spoiler=Personality]Usagi has a split personality. Unlike Shiraga, who's personality covers the whole spectrum but goes back and forth very quickly, Usagi's personality covers only two parts of the spectrum, and never at the same time. What is considered her "normal" personality is hard to tell, as both sides frequently take the spotlight. This was most likely the side effect of a few hairbrained scientists attempting to merge science and magic through a half brain transplant. She is, for the most part, a fully functioning individual with a seemingly successful ability merge, but she suffers from chronic headaches and always holds one side of her head with the eye on that side squinting shut, depending on the personality.

Personality A is shy and humble, with her red eye closed and nursing the right side of her head. She talks quietly and in few words, and never initiates human interaction, always walking around avoiding eye contact. She loves small animals, but is afraid of animals bigger than her. She has a strong tendency to blush and look away when spoken to by a cute boy, and she is rather intelligent for her age. She also doesn't mind that people make fun of her size.

Personality B is flirty and outgoing, with her blue eye closed and nursing the left side of her head. She talks at a normal volume, but often with a seductive undertone, especially to guys. She swings her hips and flaunts her (sometimes comically) small chest to attract guys, though sometimes to no avail. Whenever she gets rejected or is made fun of for her size, she often yells and sometimes beats the person up. She's not very bright academically but is a skilled fighter.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Abilities]To those out of the loop, which is most everyone, she is an ordinary plasma esper who specializes in tennis ball-sized bullets she fires with her headache-nursing hand, deemed a level 3 by the school board. In fact, she is what her experimental scientists call a Mancer, a hybrid magician/esper. She was the test subject of a secret lab that fully encouraged the Stravvgoll experiment and wanted to bring magicians and espers together even further by taking her and another subject of opposite abilities and swapping half their brains to create a duo of mancers. The other test subject died in surgery.

She fires concentrated bluish-white orbs of an "unknown energy" - separate from mana or AIM - like large bullets at super fast speeds. They are suspected to be magic, as they defy some laws of physics like gravity, but they typically interact with solid objects like a normal esper ability. These bullets have no discernible weakness to esper or magician abilities other than physical contact, which slows the bullets down, redirects them, or stops them completely. The bullets are short to mid-range, as her field of ability doesn't reach out very far. She emits no detectable field of energy and neither do her bullets, but the bullets themselves are made of what is suspected to be her manifested energy.

These bullets are not as fast as Mikoto's railgun, and not as powerful either, but they are strong enough to pierce bulletproof vests and glass. Usagi can (barely) control the speed of her bullets in order to simply harm instead of fatally wound or straight up kill. They can go slow enough to hit someone with the equivalent force of a 50mph fastball.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Other Info]While she always nurses her head with one hand, she carries around a patch-covered stuffed bunny with no given name in her other hand, either by the ear or held to her stomach in her arm. She flips if anyone takes it.

Her personalities alternate randomly, signified by a twitch of her head and her hands suddenly switching holds. These switches can be brought on forcefully if one can induce qualities of the other personality in the current personality.

Her name, Usagi, means Rabbit; her flirty personality calls herself Bunny, similar in definition but her implied innuendo is almost apparent.

The two sides of her brain apparently have no connection to or awareness of each other other than her ability.

She is ambidextrous, meaning she can use both hands with equal skill.[/spoiler]

Human bodies cannot withstand Telesma (the power of angels). And being an angel is overpowered, as angels are supposed ascended beings, only when a massive amount of power gathers, such as in an AIM Burst, that angel-like traits appear.

 

Even Saints cannot withstand Telesma for any duration of time.

I believe in this world that magic, being reliant on faith and beliefs, has just as much potential as an esper, though the power is gained through a fairly different process. An esper gains power through training with its single ability to increase maximum output as well as utilizing it in various ways. A magician, however, gains power through extensively learning all the rules and laws of magic and creating its own ability within the boundaries of those laws. These rules dont make magic weaker, as esper abilities follow the laws of physics, magic follows its own laws as well. Each faction is essentially equal in every way, but the methods are always different. Accelerator can alter the speed of the earths rotation, right? Well, a master magician, say, crowley, can potentially warp the fabric of reality itself. Its just a matter of what subject you choose to master. Espers train physically, mages train mentally.

Okay so very clearly Espers have a well defined path of ascension but what about mages?  There any sort of god-like potential or power they can come to wield or is magic simply weaker than an Esper's ability?

At the moment, because natural esper ability is very rare (only 50 people in the world are known to be natural espers) and artificially creating espers is relatively new, magic has achieved greater heights, a few have achieved the level of power of what would be almost the equivalent of a Level 6 and one magician in the world can become the Magic God, pretty much becoming omnipotent with the ability to warp reality and is the equivalent of a Level 6. This title is currently held by a 13-14-year-old girl.

Out of curiosity, how are dorm rooms being worked out? I assume people are gonna have roommates, and if so how are they gonna be decided? Random, people pick, or something else that I'm just missing? I just need Sam to bunk with someone so he can not be a friendless loser

Actually, I think it would be a lot more interesting if we did a randomized selection.
That way, there would be more character interaction then with other characters, allowing more character development.

If we just stuck with the same characters since the first post, it'd be dull after a while, then we become separated with the RP itself.

 

Just my opinion, but I vote for randomized roommates.

Yes, you can live out of dorms.

 

Anyway, I decided to randomize it.

Yoshirou is with Isamu cuz of his connections, he can manipulate the list.
The other guys on the list happen to already have their living accommodations, I would assume, considering they went home.
