Gravekeepers

Minus 2 gravekeepers guard (1 is enough) minus 2 gravekeepers chief (looks awesome, but not so good) minus gravekeepers visionary (again, looks cool, not so good. Minus 2 magical dimension. And please, please take out heavy storm. Also minus a stele (2 is enough), minus two rite of spirit (it is a good 1 of card and a personal tech of mine). I personally run one fiendish chain, but that's up to you. Stuff to think about adding: 1 more royal tribute, more backrow (mirror force, torrential, compulse etc. Although that's more of a personal choice) +1 malefic stardust dragon to protect necrovalley +Assailant (nice tech, helps you get over zenmaines and deck boss monsters who usually have low def). But really it's up to you, run what you want bro.

That's my build bro I just recently took out the rite of spirit tho

I'd prefer to see a bit more draw power in here. Cards like Pot of Duality and/or Allure of Darkness, or maybe even a second Wonder Wand. Also, Kaldar is right about Heavy Storm; it's hard enough keeping Necrovalley on the field, especially when sided against games 2 and 3, and you don't want to destroy your own field card just to pop some backrow.

The cards I would replace would be Gravekeeper's Chief and Magical Dimension, and replace them with either the draw cards I mentioned or some more defense like Book of Moon, Forbidden Lance or Dimensional Prison (arguably Book might be the best since you could also use it to flip Spy, but that usually doesn't happen). If you really want that extra Spell/Trap destruction, replace Heavy with a 3rd Mst. Everything else looks pretty solid though.

Wow sweet looks very similiar to mine. Awesomesauce. Couple changes though bro, maybe add 1 assailant but besides that I personally think your monster line up is solid. Minus 1 rite of spirit and 1 allure and add 1 more duality and an assailant if you want. I don't have an extra deck at all so I can't speak for that haha.

Oh almost forgot. Only ONE guard and one assailant. Don't put doubles of those.

Why wouldn't you play 2 Duality? It's literally one of the best cards in the Deck and made it meta back in the day. I'm not convinced by Rite of Spirit, you barely need to Special summon and your main win condition is just to flip Spy and beat down a bit while locking the opponent down with Necrovalley and I feel more protection Traps would be better. I'd cut the 2 Rite of Spirits for a 2nd Duality and a 2nd Wonder Wand.

Neg the Rite of Spirits for a 2nd Wonder Wand / 3rd Compulse and a 2nd Duality.

I don't feel like Mal Stardust is that good in here because it basically just prohibits you more than anything and I'd rather play the 3rd Compulse / 2nd Wonder Wand, but that's just me. You better be sideboarding that Heavy Storm. :v

What's so bad about Rite exactly that everybody is telling me to take it out? Anyway, I dislike having Stardust there as well, I could be using the ED for some better things. Though I'm thinking that I might keep Starlight as a heavy protector for Necro, or should I just get rid of it?

The deck does it better with Stele and, with it being a very control-y deck, you'd rather add them back from your Graveyard to your hand than have them SS so that you can actually set them. It seems sub-optimal to Duality.

I dunno, I still like having the option here, but I'll take them out.

Oh, and going back to Rite of Spirit. It's not a bad card. It's just that it's slow and us GKs are already slow as it is and having the backrow that we do it allows to keep our monsters on the field for the most part and alot of our monsters when they die, either special or add a monster to our hand. And don't forget stele, helps us recycle very easily and it's easily a +1, unlike rite of spirit, which is a 1 for 1.

You need a Stardust in your extra if you're running Starlight. Also siding Gale is cool because you can get over things and go into Arcanite.

Oops, forgot to take that one out. Gale may be interesting, it would be neat to get Synchro options in this deck. Will side that.

^ No. No. Please don't. Gale has a place with his feathered brethren in blackwing decks. Not with ancient Egyptian tombkeepers lol. But seriously GKs don't need synchs or xyz's at all, except stardust of course, and maybe cowboy. Have you ever seen the card "Blizzard Princess" just added it over my second mirror force to compliment stardust as a beater. You should look into it, and it's only like 50 cents.

Don't need Xyzs? Welcome to 2013 my friend, they got plenty good Xyz options. I'm even tempted to put in EEV for trolly stuff.

Do whatever you want, I don't care, GKs do not need xyz's nor synchros, and I will continue to run them like that like I have for the past 3 years. It's NICE to have those options, but you don't NEED them.

But the fact is that situations exist when you will need them.
