Night
Watercolor prismacolor pencils on canvas paper. Pardon the terrible quality (the iPhone 5 camera is remarkably still pretty shit), trust me the actual piece looks a lot cleaner. I wasn't really going for anything really, just drew the first thing that came to mind and then tried to exaggerate the strokes to see what I could do with watercolor. My next piece will indefinitely be a more goal-oriented one. cnc.
.Rai
Lip highlights feel random. Perhaps too much of the lips is just highlights. I'd personally like it more filled out. Love the slightly Joker-esque concept going on. I'm torn on whether I would introduce a second colour, perhaps a darker red-leaning purple, but I like it as it is.Overall, cool work. Refreshing to see some traditional work in Showcase.
Night
Oddly enough, there's actually 4 different hues in there. In retrospect I probably shouldn't have bought so many red shade pencils. I'm definitely going to pick up some more for variation however.
Madsen
NIGHT DOING TRAD INSTEAD OF BITCHING ABOUT IT WHAT IS THIS I DONT EVEN you totally decided to use the cpens cuz me lel But, anyways, could've cut it a bit shorter on the right, the continuation of the line looks kinda awkward. Not a lot to say on simple stuff but it's looking good. More traditional stuff would be awesome to see on here ijs i should do some shit too, huh. also, the highlights make the lips look skewed and going in opposite directions
