I need some serious help with my deck

[Syncopation]

I need help with this deck. I don't intend it to follow a specific theme. But, I want it to at least stand a chance at a local tournement. It focuses on bringing out Synchros and Xyzs while still having monsters that can protect me till I could get a Sync/Xyz out. I want it to have no more than 40 cards, but I don't know what to remove or add and when I do, It feels like I'm making my deck crappier than it probably already is.

It's a year old but still relevant.

 

tl;dr:

Use a theme, it makes the deck GOOD, and use 40 cards.

As-Is, this is just random junk thrown together.
