Ren✧
Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spirit Monster; Special Summon 1 Spirit Monster from your Graveyard with a different name with a Level equal to or lower than the discarded monster, ignoring Summoning conditions. Monsters Special Summoned by this effect are returned to their owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn they were Summoned. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard; You can draw 1 card OR add 1 Spirit Monster in your Graveyard to your hand. [hr] Dubbed with many names, the gate to the Spirit World is the last things mortals see before entering a new life.
Therrion
The LP this would cost you is a little steep to justify playing it. It isn't even good MST bait, considering it needs to be face-up. I think instead of the LP cost, make it force Spirits to not return during your End Phase, but instead return on your opponent's End Phase. Also, maybe some protection effect in the form of, "If an effect that targets 1 Spirit monster you control is activated, you can return that target to the hand." This could be useful instead of the search when destroyed, or, if this isn't desired, then perhaps just make it so the card could be (at the very least) MST bait. My friend, you are reading the text on the card. It has been vastly modified, probably should have made a note of that.
Therrion
:( Well, now that I read the effect below the card, it is a very good card and I wouldn't really change anything about it. You can essentially Normal Summon any Spirit Monster from your Graveyard by having a similar card in hand (level wise, ofc, not name wise). Great MST bait, the Upstart Goblin/Spirit Returning Alive is a nice addition to the card. Why not update the card image?

I entered this in a contest and lost miserably with it. That's why there is such a drastic change with the effect. I didn't save the editable version of the card, so it was just easier to write a new effect below the card.
