How exactly are views counted?

Just wondering cuz some posts have obviously been viewed, either because I viewed them myself, or I've seen others view them, and for some, there's even Reps on the post, but it still displays as 0 views.

 

 

Nevermind, it was just my page glitching/lagging or something and it simply didn't display. Lock.

The view count is updated hourly, and this may even be further delayed by browser caching. But the mass caching does lessen server load a lot.

The views aren't updated immediately upon someone looking at a thread. Instead, the forum will go around and update views at a later time (I don't know when, but I know it takes some time) or if someone posts. Just wait a bit and your thread will be counted as having views.

I see a lot start at 36, some that could be when it begins counting. Not certain on the exact numbers that it counts, though.
