Interesting. I'm guessing its still plenty strong. There is one thing, well two now that I want to bring up.

Mega Charizard is going to be Charizard's Final Smash for sure. What about Greninja? I thought maybe Night Slash, going by the trailer, but there is a move that would be more fitting. Hydro Cannon. The ultimate Water-Type move, and can only be used by the final evolutions of Water Starters.

The other thing, with Ruby and Sapphire remakes, those thoughts of Sceptile being in the game look a bit less crazy.

Other things it has going for it are:

-It'd round out Smash's roster of having 1 Fire Starter (Charizard), 1 Water Starter (Greninja) to complete it with 1 Grass Starter (Sceptile).

-If any Grass Starter were going to make it in the game, it'd be either Sceptile or Venusaur, based on popularity. And Ivysaur was just booted.

-This isn't necessarily a reason, but Sceptile and Chesnaught are the only bipedal Grass Starters and would have combos like Smash characters.

-Obvious Gen 3 representation considering the remakes.

-Also not necessarily a reason, but Charizard, Greninja, and Sceptile are all owned by Ash and have been aces for him. Yes, I know it's only a Froakie right now, but anyone can see it'll fully evolve and be useful to Ash the way Sceptile was.

The Charizard stuff's cool, makes sense for Flare Blitz to become an attack and that'll be sick. Though I wish they could've snuck in Seismic Toss.

I disagree. Hydro Cannon's not nearly as cool as Night Slash (or whatever it happens to be if that's not what it's called) that we've already seen, nor does it fit his ninja aesthetic as much. Also, Hydro Cannon requires time to recharge afterward.

Greninja's the Strider Hiryu of Smash Bros. with the similarities in appearance and attack style, so having Ragnarok as his Final Smash just feels right.

And it's not like they'd change it by this point, the game's gonna be playable at E3.

I want Sceptile cuz that back air with the tail sounds absolutely destructive.

Also, I could see Seismic Toss being one of Charizard's throw moves.

I like how they have the two Samuses going at it.

Pic of the day: Brittany from Pikman 3 is an assist trophy. I guess this means the new characters from Pikman 3 won't be different skins for Olimar.

I would think the Chorus men would be no more than an assist trophy....we can have SO many better characters!

Never played Xenoblade but he looks aight.

Also can anyone explain to me why no one thinks Sora is plausible? XD

Because Sora is part of a franchise that has never had a core game on a Nintendo system and Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't coming to Wii U.

Also Sakurai only wants to add third-party characters this time around if they are classic characters, especially those associated with Nintendo systems.

If we're getting another 3rd party character, I would assume it'll be a Belmont from Castlevania, or, as pointed out, Pacman.

This is something. I guess. I don't recall them yet showing 4 of the same character looking this different. No need for palette swaps when Villager is in town. I mean, they haven't announced Mii or to my knowledge shown this many different versions of a character for the new games.

Oh, right, there are girl villagers. Well, I already knew that but I was too dumb to think of it, but that's lovely, I guess. *secretly will play as them more than the guys*

Little Mac has a legitamite Wireframe version, and the Fit Trainer can also be male.
But yea, Villager having 4 distinct costumes is flat out- WAIT.... WHAT IF THEY HAVE A WHOLE 'NOTHER 4!?!?

Yeah, that's what I mean.

And in Brawl, Pikachu and Jigglypuff had pretty different hats and stuff, which is about as far Brawl got, besides Wario. But this is even more distinct + 2?!!?
