Lonk
So, I found this https://twitter.com/statuses/373426526064107523 It's last year, but considering all the evidence around Shulk (Gematsu leak, Nintendo really pushing for the Xeno franchise, his popularity in Japan, Soroya Saga, wife of Takehashi Tetsuya tweeting about "Finger's crossed ;)" when asked about Shulk being in the game), would it be safe to assume that his chances of being in the game are super ridiculously high? Tenta's probably going to have a huge fangasm if he made it in (calling it).
Agro
If he gets in, I'll probably go out and buy Xenoblade Chronicles. Image of the Day: "Pic of the day. You can get up on the lights of this special ring. It's a perfect secret hiding place. And you can attack the lights and have them fall to the ground! That makes things dark. The lights are way up high, but even Little Mac can get up there by jumping off the ropes." Looks like it causes damage if it falls on you, too. Lonk
It's a cool mechanic, but I'm pretty sure that everyone will hate the interface screw of darkness. Also, good luck buying a used copy of the game.
Toffee.
Can make things dark, huh?So you could, theoretically, temporarily make the whole stage pitch black?(Assuming you can do that, and the lights respawn)

Agro
Also, good luck buying a used copy of the game. I can pick it up for $50 at the Gamestop that's 2 blocks away from me, they have like 3 copies.
Lonk
I can pick it up for $50 at the Gamestop that's 2 blocks away from me, they have like 3 copies. Fair enough. I have my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles for $50, so I'm satisfied. I remember when that game was being sold for $70 at Game Stop. Let's not get into the eBay prices, which go up to $200. Tentacruel
Spoiler alert, those aren't actually used copies. GameStop was taking new copies and selling them for like 80 bucks as rare used copies.
Tourmaline
Is the game that rare that it is worth so much, even used? I mean, I have it, but I did not expect it to be so valuable. I wonder why.

Lonk
Is the game that rare that it is worth so much, even used? I mean, I have it, but I did not expect it to be so valuable. I wonder why. It was sold in a limited amount. Nintendo didn't think it would have sold so well. It sold out of stores almost instantly. Due to this success, they're pushing the Xeno franchise ridiculously hard now (Xenoblade Chronicles has its own puzzle set on the 3DS, which is used for either the most important franchises or important games on the 3DS. Plus, Nintendo gave X a definite year of release for all regions, which is almost unheard of for most JRPGs). ....Gamestop got Smash Bros that early? Xenoblade Chronicles. It's dub was handled by British VAs, but the localization efforts were carried out by Nintendo themselves.
Flame Dragon
I honestly think the Xenoblade lead will be playable. Its a new IP for Nintendo and based on how big its gotten and how different it is from the other things they do they would want to push it. No to mention X is coming out soon. Honestly, Smash is a lot like the MvC series in that Nintendo can use it to help promote franchises or gauge interest in them. While this wasn't intended with Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus I think its safe to say that both had an interest boost from their characters appearing in Smash. From my understanding, Xenoblade is more cult hit and it could gain a lot from getting mainstream spotlight in Smash.

It was. I think it was reprinted so GameStop tried to pass them off as used copies so the could sell them for more.

Jord200
I agree. My guess is the remaining new characters would be.......... Xenoblade Protaganist Bayonetta Lucina And one other fighter. Maybe Bowser Jr or for laughs, Dr. Luigi.
Agro
I'm just waiting for them to announce a new character that at least the US has not seen in a long, long time or has never seen at all and because of their inclusion gets a new game/new port to the US. Like FE & Kid Icarus. Pic of the Day: Just a met and an Octorok shown with Samus. Apparently when they're hiding, you can still grab them. But if you're a true player, you won't do that, that's cheating. You need to wait.

Agro
New Item
YOU TURN INTO A BULLET BILL AND f*** s*** UP!
Also they announced Wonder Red as a trophy, so count him out of the actual game. Also, about that tournament, I sure hope they get the correct announcers for it. Agro
So it's Sonic/Pikachu's Final Smash, as an item? Coolness. Idk if it's like that. It may just move in one direction.
MOVE B*TCH, GET OUT THE WAY I love how Pit is actually getting the fuck out of the way
DL
Well if it just went one direction thatd be like...death on a stick. ...or.... on a bullet. Maybe it LOCKS ON to a nearby opponent...and moves rather slow...like the bullet bills in New Super Mario Bros Wii XP

But you can turn whatever items off you want, so I have no right to complain about its inclusion. That bullet bill item could be lulzy, depending on how it works. Better than the blue shell anyways.
