Top 5 I can't wait to use

1. Rosalina - If her gravity ends up working the way I hope it does, it could be absolutely devastating in the right hands, and I want those hands to be mine.

2. Little Mac - Punch-Out hyyype

3. Greninja - One of my favorite starters, flexability is nice, looks solid as a character so far.

4. Peach - If we're gonna have throwbacks to Melee, Peach better be as good here as she was there.

5. Lucario - I'm hoping the buffs they claim to have done to him make him more combo oriented, kind of like the Project M version of him.

Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Mewtwo, Lucario, Greninja; That is literally enough for a basic roster, given how many Pokemon have been in Smash Bros.

Although, you can get more creative and start from scratch.
Like, you could totally go the extra mile and use Sok and Thro as the Mario and Luigi in the game, and then... Slowbrow Sandshrew, Drowzee, Garchomp, Scizzor, etc, just pick all the metagame Pokemon and/or ones that could end up with goofy movesets that prove to be effective.

Meowth

Psyduck

Blaziken

Plusle and Minim could be like the Ice Climbers.

Machamp

Gardivor

Darkrai

Aegislash

Ditto would be interesting.

What else?

It's true that we haven't seen a new F-Zero game since GX on the Gamecube, but I feel like Captain Falcon has a special case here, as I'm willing to bet most of his popularity has come from the Smash Bros. series instead of his own games. Said popularity would keep him coming back, in a continuous cycle.

That being said, Ness has a smaller chance of coming back. Unlike Falcon, who has achieved his iconic fighting style in Smash than F-Zero, Ness has been given lesser attention around these times. The last Earthbound/Mother game was years ago, and I'm not so sure about going with either PK Rockin' or Starstorm. Likely he will come back since that will please me and many others, but the chances are diminishing.

My top 5 mains will likely be

1. Marth

2. Villager

3. Megaman

4. Toon Link

5. Greninja

This is gonna be so sweet

Im mostly excited for the top 3 though

Oh and if Chrom makes it, thats great too :33

BTW, Sakurai INVENTED Falcon Punch. Falcon might as well BE a SSB original character.

As for Ness....Mother series is HUGE in Japan, and they DID release it for the home console...

So id say hes in.

Yeah, it's like The Onion but for games and it's great.

The best part is that real news sites report stories from it all the time.

Interesting, now that I really look at the Final Smash I see that the BattleNet Megaman is the only one amongst them who is left handed.

You mean who ISN'T left-handed. Or are we working off that the gun isn't on their main hand? Though really, only 2 of them always have a gun for a hand.

Japan likes making all their heroes left-handed for some reason. Link & Mega Man as simple examples.

Pretty funny article.

Apparently there's a satirical gaming site, who knew?

>CAPCOM doesn't know the other 4
Ok, I can give them the benefit of the doubt, because the series creator isn't with them

>Only knew Volnut
PFF, Probably because they got a bunch of crap for Legends 3 being ditched

>OVER-1 being in Smash 4

in this article i noticed

"Capcom says that the Mega Man franchise is stronger than ever with Rockman Xover‘s protagonist OVER-1 being included in Smash Bros. 4. Corporate officer Yoshinori Ishida has stated that he is thrilled that OVER-1 somehow made it into the roster."
