Everyone's going "Oh, there are too many Fire Emblem characters!" But if Sceptile made it in, there would be a hell of a lot less cries of "Oh, there are too many Pokemon!" And if Wolf made it in... It kinda has to be. Agreed. I WANT more because I NEED IT!!! I need it so badly *huddles in corner* I know that feel. I thought Corrin looked pretty legit for a swordfighter honestly. I'm sad they didn't get another stage though. Great they have 6 fighters (8 if you count the female alts) and only 2 stages. While Mario has 9 entries and like 6 stages Seems legit This is my feeling as well. I mean, 3 of the FE characters are just Marth so getting a totally original one is REALLY sweet. I am a little disappointed we only got 1 ballot character, though at least we get Corrin in addition to Cloud and Bayonetta. I honestly figured that having a ballot would mean that a couple characters would get in. Your going to get so many names. Only allowing one seems a little sad. These are ALL DLC Characters we DIDN'T have to be given for a game that works well without them. The only reason anyone is going to complain is because the character they wanted didn't get in. And in all honesty, I'm fine with these three. I'm definitely not complaining, this is the happiest I've ever been regarding a Smash character. EliminateHRN Posted December 15, 2015 Report Share Posted December 15, 2015 I was really underwhelmed at first, but I quickly realized that was probably me being greedy for more characters and buying into the speculation of characters. I still think they could have had a few other reveals, but I'm not complaining. I'm really looking forward to trying out all of these characters when their released or whenever I get around to buying them. Not sure if any of them will fit my play style or if they'll even be good (Bayonetta looks good, honestly), but I'm still excited to try them out. I'm not even sure if I should try to download Cloud tonight or just wait a few days to do so. I'm definitely going to pick up a few of the new mii costumes, especially the Knuckles one. I'm PRETTY sure the other were made available through Club Nintendo. I could see them doing something similar. His dragon form's cool, but that's all what I could really say about him. I thought she would have been an impossible choice because Hideki Kamiya was quoted on saying to stop asking for Bayonetta as a playable character. But, she's in and she looks amazing. Personally, I would have preferred to not have any character costume at all (and instead single-piece costumes such as hats, hairstyles, themed clothes, etc.), rather than being taunted with the "this costume could have been a character" impression that I get from them. In the end, the only thing I badly wanted was Inkling as playable character, and they didn't deliver, but I can't do much about that, right? Except for getting the costume... but I will pass on that. A friend of a friend is so salty about Sora not getting in (lol) that he's refusing to download Cloud on his system and all his friends are pissed at him for it. Sakurai stated when the costume came out that Inkling was not going to be a character. I think... I remember hearing that.
