Fusion X. Denver
I'd be hip with Pokéfloats, I had fun on that stage. Hell, I'd be game for a new one too.Wonder if the Omega version would be on a balloon or something else?
~British Soul~
I'd be down for Pokefloats as a DLC stage too, it was a fun stage. As for the Omega form, I suppose the Omega form would be Onix.

Or just a generic stage with all the balloons in the background. When is New Los Angeles going to be a DLC stage?Smash

Mr Dr Professor Spaz
Guys, they should tots give us Pokefloats as a DLC stage.8 Player Smash and have 8 Little Macs play on Poke Floats
Progenitor
8 Player Smash and have 8 Little Macs play on Poke Floats I feel like that would actually be a really good CP stage for Mac considering it's ceiling is so funking low you can die to regular up smashes at like 50. And little mac as an extremely powerful move that carries people up pretty high...D-throw > Rising Uppercut might kill at like

Fusion X. Denver
I'm really curious and hopeful about them stating the DLC winners. That'd be a cool Christmas gift to get. There's no way they would, but it'd be insane if they had them all ready to go along with Cloud.
Progenitor
I hope cloud becomes available during the broadcast. I will main him first just for the sake of maining him first.
Darj
I'm not a Cloud fan but I'm looking forward to playing him as well. From the bit of gameplay shown in his trailer he looks like some sort of lighter Ike, given the size of his sword plus I noticed some moves were somewhat similar, and I have been feeling like trying a swordsman character who isn't as light as Marth or Link, but not as heavy as Ike either; in other words, a less gimmicky Shulk (I mean gimmicky because of his stat boosts and the extra range his unique sword provides). Progenitor
I think you forgot a little thing known as the Limit Break. It's pretty gimmicky. But his Fair spikes and it looks like D-Tilt > Fair might be a true combo which will be a hilarious.
Darj
Well yeah, I did forget about the limit break. But still, I assume it will be less gimmicky than Shulk because, looking at the trailer again, it seems to be a fixed boost, rather than offering different boost options (speed, power, etc.) as Shulk does. That should make Cloud a character a bit more straightforward to play.
Progenitor
It's pretty much confirmed that the Break takes ~6 seconds to fully charge based on the charge rate briefly shown in the trailer and assuming the charge is completely linear.Additionally, the Break only applies to his special moves, and only to 1 of them before the Limit Broken state is lost. However, the powerboost is significant. Blade Beam(+) comes out much faster, is a bit bigger, and Multi-Hits before launching, which may be very useful for setting up combos depending on how powerful the launch actually is.Cross Slash(+) comes out EXTREMELY fast and executces very rapidly, while also having vastly more knockback and appearing to maintain Cloud's current position rather than having him maintain his momentum (aka he kinda floats in that exact place while using the move), which means ending any sort of combo string with this can be DEVASTATING, especially if you use it near the top of the screen.Climhazzard (+) Much more horizontal and vertical movement and control. As cloud never used this move ON someone in the trailer, we don't know if it has any other special propertiesClimhazzard (+) -> Braver (+) Once again, he never used Braver after Climhazzard once he was Limit Broken, so we have no idea if this is even in the game or not Assumingly Down Special would be used to charge the Limit Break, but once the gauge is full, it's only natural the command be replaced with Finishing Touch. The move in question has a zoom in effect much like Little Mac's KO punch, as well as devastating vertical knockback. However, the move seems to have a reasonably long startup period before the hitboxes actually come out, as well as a butt ton of endlag, so it seems this move is powerful, but a bit risky and easily interrupted. Personally I think it would make more sense for the Limit Break to have 2 stages of charge. Maybe 1 stage after 3 seconds and one after the full 6. At stage 3 you can use Blade Beam(+) and Climhazzard(+), but none of the other specials. After a full 6 seconds of charge, you get access to any one of the bunch, but regardless of which move you pick, using a special completely resets the gauge (i.e. using Blade Beam (+) while at Full Charge doesn't set the charge back to the first stage; it's completely reset). This way you can boost up Cloud's recovery and combo game when you have a chance, but still have the ability to charge up for a finishing blow. I mainly think this because waiting a full 6 seconds and then having to burn it on a recovery leaving you no hope for a comeback is kinda lame, so why not tie those weaker breaks to less time in the charge? Another method could be having the break slowly fill with damage taken, as well as boosting with down special, so that you don't have to wait 6 seconds to ensure you'll live to the next stock. Progenitor
Cloud is a potential character for smash but sora isnt? Nor Sephiroth?! Please explain to me. Please!!!! Sora is a bland character whose moveset would be even less inspired than Marth's. Cloud has had a following from the Melee generation, and since then has become a gaming legend. Not only that, but his limit breaker mechanic gives him a layer of depth that only Shulk can successfully achieve. Sure you have all the spells and whatever, but then you would have, what, a Robin clone? is that really what you want? Sephiroth doesn't have a chance simply because Cloud is already pushing it. Cloud's legendary status helped blend the boundaries somewhat, but Sephiroth, while equally popular, isn't the protagonist of that game. Why don't we have Dr. Eggman in Smash? Simple. Cuz Sonic was already pushing the envelope just a teeny tiny bit and so when in doubt, take the protagonist. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Sephiroth trophy or even a Mii costume just for some fanservice though, especially considering just how insane the reactions were to cloud's announcement. Hey guys... Cloud gained fame through Sony/Playstation/etc Cloud joins Smash Bros. DK and Bowser in Skylanders Supercharged only works with the Wii version. No Nintendo characters/Spyro interaction :^) Bruh Spyro in smash? that sounds awesome. He was on some GBA games in the past (back when he was actually in GOOD games) so that wouldn't be too out of the question. Maybe a much more agile, combo centric Charizard-type character? I could totally get behind that.
Fusion X. Denver
Huh, I'm surprised I never really thought about Spyro before.Yeah, he could be a fun addition.
