Jake the Sage
I think Chibi Robo would be a good addition to the roster- give R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch some company. But I'm really rooting for Shantae and Shovel Knight because they're both Indie Dogs and would have very interesting move sets. On Amiibo News: I now have Captain Falcon, named Golden Eagle, so that means I currently have 32 out of the 51 Amiibos available; unless the DLC Characters get Amiibo of course.I'm missing Rosalina & Luma, Wario, Sheik (which I can pick up anywhere), Toon Link, Samus, Pit, Palutena, Ike, Robin, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Falco, Ness, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Doctor Mario, and the Miis. Agro
Gotta say that Roy amiibo looks really cool.Unless you're not sarcastic, and I'm mistaken, we haven't seen the Roy amiibo prototype yet, since it's still likely a ways out before its release. That's why a placeholder image from Smash is there, just like it is for the other DLC characters. Thankfully, the Mewtwo one was shown off at PAX Prime, and it looks funking SAVAGE

Cosmo.
When finish studying i think i'll start training my beautiful Palutena amiibo. And i'm really tempted to buy several of them and name each one after a different female character in Greek/Roman mythology. So, got any good amiibo training methods? Also, i think i'll try now for the first time to jump using the buttons instead of the directions, so i can actually do the jabs

If you're traveling straight up to the ledge, the max distance is from the edge to somewhere between the edge of the screen and the bottom blastline on Final Destination. He started the move as he fell below the screen, and blasted off as soon as he entered the "Magnifying glass damage zone" as I'll call it, which is right on the borderline for the distance required for a ledge-snap. He did angle it into the stage though. That may have actually reduced its distance, but I'm not sure. However, in the heat of the moment, you always punish Fire Fox if he is directly below the ledge. The window where they won't actually get to the ledge is VERY small. It's somewhere between starting the move in the "Magnifying glass damage zone," but not starting it so low so you hit the bottom blastline after starting it (Fox falls a very short distance after starting the move, based on his current vertical velocity. And since Fox falls faster than the American economy in 1929, it's always pretty fast and may take a moment to actually slow him to a stop, especially after falling all the way down to the area between the edge of the screen and the bottom blastline.)Knowing exactly where that window is is incredibly tricky, and since he was at like 130% at that point, I figured I might as well try to stage spike him into the right line. But I'm bad at this game and got the weak hit of Bair. Luigi's Strong hit can easily kill at ~110, so even with the bounce it probably would have killed, or at least would have thrown him too far to actually recover with just an Illusion, where punishing the 2nd Fire Fox with a Fair would have definitely killed.I dunno man. Seems like normal Melee weegee sheet to me.Bro no h8 Ab8 top 8 m8 8/8 Big house 5 was fun to watch. I've gotten plenty of random misfires like this, but I've never EVER gotten a KILL from it like you see Abate or Eddy Mexico do every 4 seconds. Hell I played in my campus's tourney yesterday (got 3rd. yay. Not important), and lost to the same guy in both winners and losers. In all 5 of those matches (1-2 loss in winners 0-2 in losers) I got 1 misfire per match that saved my ass from the gimp / punish. It made some of those games a LOT closer than they honestly should have been.
Sixty
So, got any good amiibo training methods? Fight the amiibo until it's level 50 using the same character to get them to learn the moves. During this process, let the amiibo hit you with moves you especially want it to commit to memory. Then, have it fight every single character, one after another, ten stock matches each. This will let them learn how to counteract every character in the game. Only move onto the next character if they have beaten the last.

The Amazing Avian
Personally my favorite method is throw multiple amiibos in a ffa 99 stock match to level them up then have them fight every character in the roster until they get 3 wins in a row. After that throw them into 1v2 matches then 1v3s until they become an unstoppable monster. The 6 I have were all trained using this method and all but one is a savage. Cherz
Does anyone know some Zelda garunteed combos? All I have is dthrow to nair. Everything else has to be improvised off I go. Jab seems like it combos into dash attack, any confirmation on that?
Progenitor
Zelda isn't really a character with guaranteed combos. She has a select few off D-Throw at lower percentages, but that's about it. Since Zelda has a Multi-Jab, that means you can cancel the Jab Sequence (Multi Jabs are 3 hits. Jab 1, Jab 2, and Jab 3 which is the actual multi-hit). Essentially if you physically only press A once or Twice, your character will only do those jabs and be able to do any other move out of it. While it doesn't really lead into true combos for a lot of the cast, it DOES put some mindgames into your confirms. For example, Zelda's grab range is pretty bad. However, her Jab has decent range. Therefore, you can Jab 1, or Jab 1 -> Jab 2, then go for your grab. If your opponent does anything but Spot Dodge or roll, the grab is guaranteed. Eventually however, your opponent will start learning that confirm, and will Spot Dodge or Roll out of it. Yet then, you can simply adapt your strategy as well. Maybe Jab 1 -> Jab 2 -> Up B for a Kill confirm rather than Grab Confirm on a read spot dodge. This is essentially what is known as a Frame Trap Read. You consciously force your opponent to choose any one of 1-2 existing options, upon which you are ready for said options due to your knowledge of the trap. It's not a true combo, but it has the same effect. Since you put your opponent in a situation where they only have one option, predicting that one option is all but too easy. For example, eventually, D-Throw -> Short Hop Nair will stop working. They will be able to Airdodge it. So once they start doing so, try mixing it up. Maybe instead of Short Hop Nair, try Full Hop (bait the airdodge) Fair (sweetspot) or Uair. Both of those kill stupidly early, and with the ready you can pour some major salt. TL:DR, Zelda isn't really a combo based character from what I know. She's more about these mixup framtraps. If you want to learn some combos, I would suggest looking up Tourney Matches on VG Bootcamp or Tourney Locator's respective channels. See if a Zelda played. If you find something interesting they like to do, see if you can reproduce it
