>Guy does nothing but roll in and down smash.

>I combo the sheet out of him every match

>proceeds to beat me 7 straight using every shitty character you can think of because I keep throwing away 1 stock

>drops 3ds, screams internally, and kicks over the lineup of bikes in my basement

>Foot's bleeding a bit. Don't care. Cries in corner

It's always those people who don't know how to use other moves except dash attack, roll, grab, and forward smash that somehow come out with bullshit wins. And somehow, they beat us game after game and taunt repeatedly, boosting their ego and hopefully doing those stupid tactics games after, thinking they can get away with low tactics. That's why I can't stop playing For Glory.

So if y'all were ever in a serious, try-hard tourey setting vs people of your calibur, what would your lineup be?

Personally I main Little Mac.

At the moment Roy is probably my co-main

Dr. Mario and Mewtwo are probably my first stringers for co-main

And I have Ryu and Puff on standby. (Oh what I would give for Puff to have her Melee combos back)

I only play 3ds cuz I'm a cheap scrub who cant afford a Wii U and an HD TV and likes torturing myself with the slide pad.

Friend Code is 4055 - 3385 - 6172

If you wanna git rekt :Kappa:

Well, did you have fun?

Also my Roy was getting beat up by a dude playing Ness. But that was okay because he was doing things I can't even do with Ness yet and more importantly, I dumpstered him twice.

But I've been in a tourney setting

Roy and Ness.

Rumors are going around on Twitter that Shovel Knight may be getting an Amiibo. If true, I would say that is a good guess who one of the winners of the DLC Character contest is.

I know Twitter is not reliable at all, but everything with a grain of salt. I do doubt it to be true though, but stranger things ave happened.

I would be alright with Shovel Knight getting in. To be honest, there's no one I'm really opposed to getting in at all, which is nice since for me, Smash can only get better from here. No real first choices on my part since my one real choice doesn't have a real shot at getting in.

If I went into tourneys at this point, I'd probably use the Links.

It would, and I'm assuming that'd be what they go for, but if they did do something different it'd be interesting to think about what it would be.

EDIT: Finally at home for the first time in awhile, that means I can finally play Smash Bros. I bought all the DLC characters and stages, as well as the Black Knight outfit cuz it's awesome. As I suspected I can't play Ryu for sheet. I never played Roy in Melee, but what they did with him in this game is funking awesome, I love him. Roy's my boy.\

I love how, as unlikely as it is you'll ever be able to pull it off, his fully charged neutral special is pretty much a OHKO. It can kill Bowser from 0% in the middle of Final Destination.

@Shadrow

Roy's fully charged Blazer has a sweep spot somewhat circular hitbox that does 50% and a sour spot ring around it that does 36%. The sour spots WILL reach below the ledge and just behind you a LA Ike's Eruption. So yeah it's pretty gud.

@Komaeda as far as I know his Mii is always named Alpharad, so if that was the case it's possible. I'm pretty sure you can check their miiverse stuff through a replay (idk I dunt have a Wii u) if you want to confirm it.

In other news Bowser is really fun. I'm starting to pick him up as a co-main. His Whirling Fortress out of Shield is SUCH a good punish. Additionally when playing around in customs I found some really crazy stuff with Doc's 2nd pill. It only does 1% but travels in a straight line and does so absurdly fast. The best part though is that it can JAB LOCK. That means at super high percents Jab 3 > Pill is a guaranteed Lock > KO setup if they don't somehow manage to tech Jab 3s absurdly horizontal launch angle. Combine that with Soaring Tornado or Super Jump Punch and you can net some stupidly easy kills.

In other other news my friend just announced he's having another pro tourney this Friday. Let's see how this goes.
