Surprised that Katie did comics around Melee to early-Brawl era. Even more surprised you remember this Armz.

She used to be on DeviantArt before she moved it all to Awkward Zombie. Said Melee comics were made here and there, among other things.

....

I used to go on DeviantArt, back in the day/know of some of her older ones.

......

*flies away*

That reference is a running joke though, I'm not sure what's so amazing about it individually.

I mean the fact that she implied Pitt replaced him, so Roy being pissed off at Pitt in the latest one is a reference to that 06 cominc.

Wasn't Pit also rooming in Marth when Roy broke into the Smash house? Obviously, that would also be referencing the 06 comic, but Roy not being a Pit fan has been a slight running joke.

I know exactly what you mean, but it's a running joke rather than a single reference.

I've seen Ness-Villager stuff in tournament videos, but this is just balls-off-the-wall. Had no idea Lloids counted as energy projectiles.

They normally don't. But the explosion does. So you just gotta explode them on the wall :D

Works with Lucas as well, and heals 30% instead of 20% per lloid

Also work with GW in the same way, to fill bucket.

But Lloyds are not balls and in this case they are actually on the wall.

It's going to have to be someone new because the Melee community will probably be playing Melee. I could be wrong,

The Melee community is generally trash at Smash 4 since the tech is very, very different, so I don't see how there not being any Melee at EVO would change anything.

For Smash 4, they all kinds of silly ideas.

You know... Everything that isn't an arrow doubles as an energy attack/can be reflected by Toad/etc.

Gotta' get them Counters going, you know...

.......Aaaaaaaannndd....

[spoiler=The winner of EVO is...]Zero won EVO. Such an amazing shock. /s

I also found out Jwittz participated in the Smash 4 tournament at one point and passed some pools, but still got rekt before Top 32. John Numbers also came pretty far too but was surpassed by Zero as well.

Curious, what characters put up top showings?

Komaeda_%2820%29.png

Sheik. Sheik everywhere, all doing Fair and knives spam.

About 80% of the entire Smash cast barring the new patch DLCs (Lucas, Roy, and Ryu) were used as well including characters like Zelda, Ganon, Charizard, and Olimar. Everyone uses their own characters with a touch of skill. Zero did win with Diddy at the final round even though he was above 150%, but the most hypest hoo-Hah actually won the game for him despite the nerfs. He's won Apex, CEO, and now EVO as well. He's arguably the best Smash 4 player in the whole world.

Didn't Sheik also get nerfed too? Pretty impressive that two characters that were made worse still did so well. Also nice to know that a lot of the cast is getting used. With a line up this big its easy for a lot of characters to just not be good.
