Agro
This is true. Maybe someone will figure out how to attack a GameCube controller to a 3DS. Someone did it to a Wiimote.. Oh they already did that before the Wii U version came out. http://kotaku.com/how-to-mod-your-3ds-to-play-smash-bros-with-a-gamecube-1643073790
King K. Azo
Oh my god... It's beautiful...
vla1ne
it truly was beautiful. but for those without the technical skills to mod their 3ds, i'd suggest going with the 2ds instead. i use one for smash and while it's not quite gamecube level of comfort, it's easily the best alternative when available imo. vla1ne
Are you kidding? A 2DS costs money! I don't have that! true, but it's cheaper than a 3ds. but on that note, are they ever going to release one with improved hardware (and maybe a slightly larger screen)? Yeah, but my friend gave me a 3DS... Lucky scholarship earner... Also... Didn't they just do that with the "NEW" 3DS XL?
vla1ne
I meant the 2ds, the 3ds xl is nice, but the button layout is vastly different from that of the 2ds and the layout of the buttons in a game like smash bros is among the most important things that you can be in control of. The 2ds system layout with the new DS hardware would be a guaranteed purchase for me.
Toffee.
Pretty sure that was the only worthwhile thing in that video.Basically the reason why I posted it.I mean, let's be honest... We've all encounter THAT Link at least once throughout all of Smash Bros. You know, those Links that are defendant on the bow, despite the fact it's kinda' mediocre? Shradow
I've been playing more multiplayer with friends recently and I've learned that my skill decreases proportionally with the amount of people in the game. Also, I never seem to learn that Little Mac is always a bad idea.

Also, I never seem to learn that Little Mac is always a bad idea. mine is a similar conundrum, my skill simply doesn't exist for the first few games in 1v1, yet in 4-8 way matches i'm a ton better at situational awareness. but really? you don't think little mac's a good idea? some of my favorite wins came from him or marth. Shradow
If there's ever more than 3 people and I play Little Mac I just get fucked in some way or another in the chaos. My heavyweights are much more reliable in those situations. Or anyone that doesn't have shit recovery, really.
chaoticjexak
i usually play marth when in a cluster**** situation-spam down b :P

It's more you getting back into the swing of things. Reactions and things etc. You're used to the games speed etc. Less about you getting better and more like your skill is coming back to you. Shradow
One of my friends just plays Robin and spams Thoron from the edges of the map if the stage permits.
DL
With 3+ people, Mac does well, actually. Side B is great. Heavyweights ARE great as well tho.

Shradow
Also, I pretty much got the game, did some single player stuff, then went to For Glory mode. Playing with my friends recently has finally let me see the various maps in normal versions, and fuck stuff like Guar Plains and Palutena's Temple. DL
I actually do play sometimes on those ridiculous stages with my friends when we wanna mess around. That aside, some stages are actually great to play on, like Coliseum, Mario Circuit Wii U, Gamer, etc
Agro
I don't mind Palutena's Temple with non-competitive friends since we're just trying to have fun anyway. We only ever run away because it's funny, not to actually win. Usually we have the timer off for stuff like that. It's always fun to play the stages that are close-but-no-cigar to being legal like Skyworld, Kongo Jungle 64, Gamer, Pilotwings, etc. Then there's that one dick that chooses Yoshi's Island. Fuck that guy.

Shradow
I like Yoshi's island because of tech shenanigans without the stage fucking you over like Skyworld.
