Agro... How do you loose with Captain Falcon?

Captain Falcon is one of those popular characters that I'm really used to fighting. And no offense to Agro, but I've beaten Captain Falcon's a lot better, though I don't know if Agro has put that much time into him yet.

Also, it's been awhile since I faced DL, so I'm glad my matchup against Villager hasn't gotten rusty.

Meanwhile my MU against Yoshi is still trash =P

I swear whenever I face Yoshi, I should just use Ganon. It's the only character I use that can compete with him in strength.

I kinda want to learn Mario only so I can do stuff like this:

And apparently, going by one of the commenters, Mario's cape can reflect Mega Man's Uair downwards.

I remember my main in Melee back when I was a n00b was Mario and even back then I knew cape + recovering opponent = troll time.

But it's nice to actually face people who know what they're doing and don't just mindlessly spam his projectiles.

Unless it's Ness/Robin, the projectile-spam guys are typically scrubby players who auto-loose because you got in close enough.
I've run into a few Falcos who could only use B.
It's... Not exactly the best tactic for dealing with anyone.

Villager shoulda let go of the lloid, and the Luigi should have mashed down B tho.

It is if you mash like a god.

I mean it was pretty clear the opponent in most of those matches was either letting it happen or playing poorly. In general, you don't want to recover just above the ledge.

lol wednesday releases

Anyway, I went to locals yesterday and ended up 9th. Went 3-2 overall.

Match 1. Won 2-1 over a Zelda player. I won the neutral w/ Ness, he won on his counterpick. Then went Delfino and basically bet the match on hitting him with the PKThunder recovery kill from below the stage. He read it perfectly and was all set to punish but spaced just a pixel off and got hit in the last frame of the PKThunder for game.

Match 2. Lost 2-0. I was not prepared for customs Villager. That shit is stupid. Switched from Ness to Pit after he pocketed my recovery and that went a lot better, but I still was having issues.

Match 3. Won 2-1. Was against the Villager player's friend who plays Peach. I won game 1 and wasn't aggressive enough for game 2. Game 3, he took a really early lead and actually forward smashed me to what had to be the very edge of the killbox. 2 seconds after that hit, I killed him with up-air for game. Did not play well.

Match 4. Won 2-0. So the guy in this match ALSO played Peach and was also a guy I destroyed the last time I played him. All considered, I was pretty damn confident going in and it showed in game 1 when I zero to death'd him.

Match 5. Lost 2-0. Pretty sure I got knocked out of the last bi-weekly local to this same Link player. I just can't beat Link it seems. It's weird. It probably could have gone better, but I didn't play well at all either. Used Pit instead of Ness since I felt it was a better matchup, but got into a bad habit of spamming side B. Ew.

I always finish 9th, lol.

Almost 40. I've been knocked out in the same round three weeks in a row though, lol the struggle

*ahem*
Was it just moves? Or did he also have stats?

Just moves. I didn't have issues with the ballons, but the slow moving gyroid that carries you and the sapling that trips you really caught me off guard.
