And on the subject of Mewtwo, specifically its final smash, one of my friends at work was saying that he'd rather have seen Mega Mewtwo X being Mewtwo's final smash (because it's part fighting lol), though I said it doesn't really matter; and I'm not surprised Mega Mewtwo Y is its final smash anyway (and it has NOTHING to do with the fact that M Mewtwo Y had a movie at all).

I just want some characters to have small alterations to their costume that you can conduct on the character select screen with a particular button, like up on the d-pad or something to give Mewtwo his armor, or Lucina her mask, etc.

I'm betting that the characters with the most votes are going to be Ridley and characters that got cut from Melee and Brawl. Also Goku and Spongebob.

 

Wolf and Ice Climbers/Popo are probably coming back anyway. I'd bet against third party characters, since Sakurai specifically said he was looking for classic and big characters.

 

So essentially, if we're getting a third party character, it's going to be either Bomberman or Simon Belmont hands down.

 

I think the non-past characters in Nintendo's stable of characters most likely to get the votes necessary to get in are (in no particular order):

Yea, I realized he was after I posted that and forgot to change it. I was going by the amiibo website and they just didn't have him listed for some reason.

Who from Melee is left though? I think its just Climbers, Pichu, and Roy and I don't think people are going to be asking for them in droves or anything.

Wolf has a decent shot, but Ice Climbers not being able to return due to tech issues I think will keep them out and it seems wrong to have Popo without Nana.

I feel like Ridley is unlikely since Sakurai has considered him, but felt he wouldn't work as a playable character.

Does anyone know if we can vote for characters that already make an appearance in the game as a trophy, assist trophy, background character in a map, etc. etc.? Or maybe these characters would have more chances of making it in because they already have their models and whatnot?

Because I kinda want to vote for Midna, who is already an Assist Trophy; or maybe Geno who was so hyped before the released of Brawl. Or take this chance to vote for a less popular character such as Kalas or Fawful, I don't know.
