I enjoy characters like Yoshi or Luigi that are good at breaking combos. For example, if Ness tries his throw into fair combo, Yoshi can stop it in his tracks with his nair. Works on a lot of throw combos, too. And Luigi is just so floaty he can simply get out of most anything.

Pretty sure that was the joke.

But yea, I'd argue most characters have decent to really good N-Airs.

Anyway, beat 9 with Marth. One full aggressive with the custom parts. Took me around 6 or 7 tries. Honestly wasn't that bad. Only thing I learned though was I suck at avoiding the push back attack from the giant and o boy, did that kill me a bunch. Still, counter is SO good vs. core. Also finished unlocked the 436 songs in the game. But one remains and I'm going to go mad getting it.

I love how he had that tag prepared xD

And wait, whats PK pulse? o.o

Ness's Neutral B. It's actually PK Flash, but Ness sounds like he's saying "PK Pulse" so that's what I refer to it as.

That's cool. I mean unless they actually do the dthrow-fair combo right, then you're not going to have the time to throw out the nair.

At somewhat higher percents, you will be able to.

iirc it can be done at pretty much any %, even if they do it right, at least with Yoshi. I've played the matchup an incredible amount of times.

The thing is, if its a true combo, theres little you can do about it. if you DI perfectly, and they are a tad slow, you can,and if you DI perfectly, and they are on-point, you still can, but at somewhat higher percents.

Not super high tho.

Nairing to stop a combo is better than airdodging tho.

I don't see how that's relevant to my point. If they DI the dthrow up and away at a higher percent, you're not going to combo them anyway.

Anyway...

HEY IT'S THURSDAY! Joining today's rankings are Dr. Mario and Pit, and yet somehow the prior is in the top 10. This is why I will begin including a ranking only including 100+ use characters starting this week. Here we go!

If you are able to airdodge, nair etc its not a combo.

They can read your airdodge and punish, because a lot of people WILL airdodge, instead of jump, on instinct, or because they figure its the best option.

But a nair saves your jump, as well as makes you do some damage.

I don't think you're arguing against what I'm arguing, DL.

But you see, this is the internet, where all opinions but yours are wrong. Even the opinion that your opinion is right. Tis a magical land.

Curious, what is everyone's least favorite character to play? Mine is Villager. He just does NOT click with me, AT ALL.

It's not the same thing at all XD

I was pointing out why nair can be better than airodging, and I'm pretty sure you're just talking about avoiding a combo by DI XP

Also my fav characters to play are Villager, Marth, JIgglypuff, and Sheik

And they're all my mains~

Mega Man. Cannot get the hang of him for the life of me, which is a shame, because I was stoked with him getting in.

Jigglypuff's also annoying for me to use.

And then Ness, though that's mainly because I suck at recovering with him.

I can't get Olimar or Jiggs. On the other hand, I hate playing as Rosalina cuz when I do I feel like such a tool.

My mains are Ness, Fox, Dark Pit/Pit, Dorf, and Shiek in that order. I hardly ever use Shiek anymore since I haven't learned her well enough to win consistently, and at some point, I'd like to know how to play Robin well. Ness and Fox are just so much fun to me. Ness especially. Recovery is hard to master, but everything else just feels so smooth.

Mario. I can use him decently, but I just don't like him a lot. after that, wii fit trainer. I don't know why, but I just don't enjoy playing as her/him

Mario's one of my best. Though for Wii Fit Trainer, my main struggle is how her dash attacks have her stop short, which goes against my style. Otherwise, I can get by with her, no particular excelling or sucking.

Olimar used to be my worst, but I've adjusted to him over time. As for Rosalina, I can play her, but I don't play her properly with taking advantage of using both her and Luma at the same time.

I'm with you on wanting to learn Robin. It's been a while since I played (might fix that today), but my mains were the Mario Bros, the Links, Little Mac, and the Pits.

As for Ness, I have a hard time using PK Flash, though I guess I could change that with custom moves.

My mains are Little Mac, Bowser, Ganondorf, Ike, Yoshi, King Dedede, Luigi, and Captain Falcon. My Bowser Jr. is a bit behind the others, and my Kirby has gotten a bit rusty as well. I've recently tried out Shulk a bit, I'll have to see how that pans out.

Well that's because PK Flash is a bad move :'D

I just accidentally hit it once and a blue moon and one time it ended up turning into a combo on little mac lol

Also I just started playing against a dude who just SD'd every match for like 7 matches...
