That one Dedede vs Villager game, we killed ourselves, like twice each. XD

Fun games. Yeah, I'm starting to get the hang of your Villager. It was nice to pick up Dedede again. Aside from maybe one game on Wii U, I haven't played him since Brawl. And even then, not nearly as often as my other 3 heavy hitters (Ike, Ganondorf, Bowser).

I like his new down tilt but I'm not used to how his aerials have changed yet.

I need to step up my game ;3

Also, Dedede is so good in this game x-x

His hammer is so good, especially with that jab xD

I don't practice against many Dededes, so I'm lookin forward to that in the future

And yeah, Villager vs Dedede was an SDfest, lol o3o

I now know not to use Gordo against your Villager for the most part, Lloid pretty much acts as an impenetrable wall against it since the bouncing will make it always around the height where it hits it.

And now I see what you were talking about with that Sonic shield thing.

Mhmm X3 It's so fun to do~

Also yeah, Villager can also pocket gordo, so using it wisely is key xD

And I NEED to get better with Sonic xD lol, my Sonic's so bad.

I am definitely happy with they way I used Sheik tho, even if she couldn't beat Bowser <3

It was satisfying to beat your Villager with both Ganondorf and Captain Falcon during which I got a Ganoncide with Flame Choke and a spike kill with Raptor Boost. :3

I could tell xD Surprised you didn't taunt ;P

I was getting hit by so many of your smashes, as well, I definitely need to play more careful.

I should get it over with and sell my copy of Smash 4 for the WiiU; I'm clearly fucking garbage at it, and I'm developing an intense dislike of that game, but for all the wrong reasons.
Mainly, setting the AI to 9.0, and they become so unrealistically full of bullshit, it's not even funny.
Like, I don't understand this at all; Smash 4 for 3DS feels like a direct upgrade of Brawl, in terms of everything. Then on the WiiU one, the difficulty spike went out into space.

ITT: Arm is pissed off

I have seen the bs from he Lv 9 AI, but they are still very beatable. Hell I 3 stocked a Pacman with Little Mac just recently.

But Pacman's AI is derpy regardless....
Same with Peach, Bowser, and a few others.

Now Mac/[any character with a counter-move] will deploy perfect counters in that unpredictable .0001 split-second window, and utterly fuck you over.

Counter happy AI was in the 3DS. It is worse here though, but they are still beatable.

Ugh, I hate the online games where the lag absolutely screws you over. Anytime you make an input, bam, lag stutter, and you never actually get to do much because the game doesn't recognize most of what you press. It's all I can do to SD fast enough so I can find another opponent.

If you're training against computers, you should go 1 v 1. Going 1 v 3 doesn't actually teach you anything or make you stronger, it just teaches you how to fight and/or get rekt by 3 players at once. Unless you're playing 1v3 all the time whereas...

Anywho, try the level 7 computers. They shouldn't perfect shield as much and it should be easier to train how to combo them.

Level 7s are definitely pretty nice.

As are level 8s, though they also tend to be a bit cheap.

The only problem is level 7 computers are actually not that good. XD

For Glory Little Mac mirror matches can be kind of a crapshoot, really. A lot of it comes down to the timing of the deaths. In my experience for the most part it's beneficial to die first, assuming your opponent is within KO range and you can finish them quickly afterwards, because then your KO meter gets charged faster than theirs and then you just have to land the punch.

I often win Little Mac mirrors online

There really is a minority of people that really get Little Mac xD

my favorite mirrors/semi mirrors are marth/lucina showdowns and captain falcon/ganondorf. they help me get better with my mains and In the case of marth mirrors, I can usually win fairly easy(I think my opponents just have the same troubles as I do though.)

I need to practice my marth distancing online to account for lag. I always think I'm the perfect distance to hit with the sweetspot and then when I hit the button he's already ran past the opponent or he runs into their attack before his can go off. I doubt it's always lag, but it has cost me far too manytimes against fighters that have decent ranged attacks like villager.

virtually every Marth vs Lucina match I get into, even on sudden death levels, my opponent and I both often use their "honor" taunts before proceeding to kill each other. but on an interesting note, if you can get his charged Fsmash to hit in the sweet spot, marth can kill at incredibly low damage ratios (as of testing, about 35% damage before the hit seems to be the lowest he can kill at from center screen on FD against middleweight opponents like other marths.).

I have yet to see a shiek vs ganondorf match, but i assume it would be as fun to watch as link vs shiek.

Computers don't play like real people, so none of them are good anyway.
