But where's the fun in that?

Naw, I see your point. XP one block, or counter, and Charizard gets hard punished xD

Actually, Counter doesn't really work against Flare Blitz, at least Ike's. If you do it, the knockback is pitiful, even at higher percentages.

Mac's counter doesn't work against Flare Blitz either.

In fact... Do any Counters work against a move that causes an explosion on the spot?

Got all the way to Master Fortress for the first time; Died because I accidentally ran into lava, and of course, this was my last life -> Moved to 7.5

(Was playing on 8.0, since it's the earliest Fortress appears, since I wanted to learn first-hand how it goes; It's not even hard)

I would have had another life, but apparently I missed the part about the WiiU version of Master Beast being able to knock players through the stage; I was standing in the middle of Final Destination, and apparently got sent straight through it via one of Beast's attacks.

3DS version doesn't do that; Go figure.

...'Course, I got closer then last time, but that's a moot point until I actually DO beat it.

The biggest thing with Master Fortress is going with 2 stocks. Its really easy to get combed by the lava running up the damage and the shadow skeleton dudes are a pain to deal with.

....Also I don't exactly know how many 'cores' are in said fortress; Literally did it blind.
I found two, but made the mistake of going after 1 I already had and subsequently ran into laval unintentionally.

I should get it over with and sell my copy of Smash 4 for the WiiU; I'm clearly fucking garbage at it, and I'm developing an intense dislike of that game, but for all the wrong reasons.
Mainly, setting the AI to 9.0, and they become so unrealistically full of bullshit, it's not even funny.
Like, I don't understand this at all; Smash 4 for 3DS feels like a direct upgrade of Brawl, in terms of everything. Then on the WiiU one, the difficulty spike went out into space.

ITT: Arm is pissed off

Because I'm a maschocistic asshole who wants to drive myself to the point of wanting to jumping off a cliff.

I could face other people, but knowing me, I'd just only end up people who only know how to copy that level 9 nonsense, and it wouldn't help.
I'm just too mediocre at this game/why do I even bother; simple as that. So who cares.

I don't think you are mediocre at all :3

Why does that matter? A lot of people use custom moves XP

'Cept when you go online, none of that matters.

I just... I just don't understand the appearent difficulty hike from the 3DS to WiiU. I couldn't really translate my ability to play, when the WiiU one is in a league of it's own.

If you want, Arms, we can play for a bit :3

So you dont gotta face those nasty CPUs

Also ggs, Shradow ;3

Seems you're finally catching on to my Villager strategy xD

Tho for some reason I didn't feel at the top of my game, but each one of your victories was deserved :3

That one Dedede vs Villager game, we killed ourselves, like twice each. XD

Fun games. Yeah, I'm starting to get the hang of your Villager. It was nice to pick up Dedede again. Aside from maybe one game on Wii U, I haven't played him since Brawl. And even then, not nearly as often as my other 3 heavy hitters (Ike, Ganondorf, Bowser).

I like his new down tilt but I'm not used to how his aerials have changed yet.
