True. They should have made it 2 stocks rather than time with team attack on, but I tend to enjoy it more than singles.

 

Oh also, was just looking through the remaining fighters that need amiibo:

 

Wave 1 (13): Mario, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Peach, Marth, Yoshi, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer

Wave 2 (6): Diddy Kong, Zelda, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Pit, Little Mac

Wave 3 (10): Bowser, Toon Link, Shiek, Ike, Sonic, Mega Man, King Dedede, Rosalina & Luma, Shulk, Meta Knight

Wave 4 (6): Robin, Lucina, Charizard, Ness, Wario, Pac-Man

 

Remaining Fighters (13): Bowser Jr., Mr. Game & Watch, Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Palutena, Falco, Jigglypuff, Greninja, Duck Hunt, R.O.B., Pikman & Olimar, Dr. Mario, Dark Pit

 

So we're getting at least 1 wave more of Smash amiibo, maybe 2.

 

And yet no word on a game made specifically with amiibo in mind... le sigh.

Hey, you know.... They could totally do what Transformers does, but with the amiibos; Repaint it -> New toy
I mean, if they ever wanted to re-release stuff

My first combo video, tho it's more of a string video, but I think it came out pretty decent.

 

Bro you even combo!? LOL Nah I'm just kidding you. Not bad actually. You opened on a kill I honestly thought you were going to be suiciding from, but apparently not. From the level of still seen you're not bad . . .

 

But I think I can take ya!

Appearently the Luigi-ladder still exists...

Couldn't the opposing team just . . . y'know . . . jump down and recover before they die? That should lower the top screens boudary so that the two Pacmen end up being killed . . .

 

Also anyone knowing the combination will know immediately once they see two Pac-Man to keep on them or else.

Tips on how to fight against Marth/Lucina as Samus?

 

If they aren't too good, it's a pushover, but a good marth/lucina has this really pokey style of play that really limits a lot of Samus's counterplay, especially her Aerials. (LET. ME. NAIR. YOU. BASTARD.)

 

All I can REALLY do is try and get lucky with the mind games, I feel.

If they aren't too good, it's a pushover, but a good marth/lucina has this really pokey style of play that really limits a lot of Samus's counterplay, especially her Aerials. (LET. ME. NAIR. YOU. BASTARD.)

 

All I can REALLY do is try and get lucky with the mind games, I feel.

We can practice against each other so you can get more experience in the match-up.

 

But other than practice, I suggest you just try to space Marth out with missiles and zairs.

I admit, I need to Zair more (it hard, but it work), but missiles are really hard to use against Marth. The animation is just slow enough that a marth (with all those ridic low ending lag) can shorthop/fast fall above or beneath any missile fired. And then, that 1 second of end lag from my missile suddenly leaves me wide open.

I can imagine. But as long as you can space out Marth, even if its just with retreating zairs and a couple missiles if he's far enough, you should be fine. Marth struggles a LOT against projectile users.

I need to work on my spacing game. He seems to always be able to approach me easily, dodging/shielding all my projectiles like I'm a book.

I'm free to go a few rounds whenever you want for practice

 

Don't worry, my Marth isn't nearly as spammy as my Villager XP

 

And my spacing with Marth is really good, so that'll get you practice with the spacing game.
