Toffee.
>Amiibo tournament Now if everyone used a Pokemon Amiibo.... Anyway, I've started playing around with DK's custom moves; his air blast punch-thing is quite deadly O,o

DL
That was a great commercial, I loved the random businessman tying his shoe joining in. Right? And Smash IRL looks amazing. XD Hey Shradow, you free today in like an hour to go a few rounds?~ I WANT to play Classic mode, but tbh, I want to beat 9.0 difficulty, and I absolutely hate it. I hate it. Shradow
Yeah, I'm up for it now, just give me a few minutes. EDIT: Oh, in an hour, not for an hour. Sure. I'll just practice till then, I haven't played in a few days.
DL
Alright, ready~ I'll make the room~ EDIT: I must admit, I like playing you; but I hate your Ike You counter so much, I had to actually learn a new playstyle. Thank you though, because that was my biggest weakness, I could definitely see improvement at the end.

Shradow
*power went out shorly after we stopped* Didn't expect to go undefeated while playing as Ike, guess I'm getting the hang of your Villager more.
DL
*power went out shorly after we stopped* Didn't expect to go undefeated while playing as Ike, guess I'm getting the hang of your Villager more. Let me explain With Ike, you have the option to counter. This means I can't safely string together moves, because you can break the string. And I was suffering a lot from this early on. So I decided that was a good time to start learning what is my biggest weakness, which is shielding + grabbing, since I hardly ever do those. I'd consider what I did a personal victory, didn't win, but I became quite a bit better at that. Basically, the reason I bet your everyone (even Falco) with Villager, and I couldn't beat Ike, was because Ike has that annoying f*cking counter XD which means I have to actually start playing my weakest game, since I never play like that. DL
As far as additional modes was concerned, Brawl was always my favorite. Subspace Emmisary was something a lot of people complained about, but it wasn't TOO hard, and the bosses were cool.

Flame Dragon
I've only cleared the 3DS version, but 9.0 isn't that bad. Only took my like 4 tries, and that was with Dedede a character I'm not good with.
Shradow
Yeah, while Falco is a big counter to Villager, I don't actually use him outside of fighting your Villager, so I don't really practice with him. XD And this is what I meant about Ike and Ganondorf being good in different situations. Though you switching from your usual tactics to shield/throw more was both good and bad, as it made me had to switch things up. Problem is, most of the good players I face nowadays are "good" because they rely on their shield + throw combos, so I'm more than used to it. DL
Well, it was confirmed by one of the stores, and they said they were told this by their official Nintendo provider. https://twitter.com/VideoGamesPlus_/status/541266788441665536 Nintendo really does some stupid crap. I'm gonna buy an extra Marth one, as a collector's item, for the future.

Thinking of doing the same myself. Seems like a waste to miss getting them. Though it also seems dumb on Nintendo's part to stop making them 2 weeks after going on sale. Shradow
I've got no interest out of any of the amiibo so far aside from Link getting you the Spinner for Hyrule Warriors. The costumes in MK8 are nice but not appealing enough for me to buy them. Well, maybe a Captain Falcon. I might get one of him.

Shradow
It is really cool, like that one reddit post I linked earlier about the guy who trained three different Yoshis, I just don't use it much even though I have a Link one. My Smash Bros. time is primarily spent either doing the single player things like Classic, Events, Orders, etc., or online in For Glory mode. We'll see how they're used in future games, I could easily change my mind. And it doesn't even have to be that significant, like me getting Link primarily for a new weapon type in Hyrule Warriors.
