It's kinda crazy how much I can potentially stop a Villager with Falco. He can reflect the slingshot, bowling ball, potted plant, Lloid, I'm just not sure about the tree.

EDIT: So not only can you reflect the tree, you can also reflect the water from the watering can, and if the reflected water grows the tree it's growing animation will hurt the Villager instead. I'll have to remember that.

It's actually kind of insane.

I hate fighting reflector-types.

Cuz then I can only reliably use the turnips.

So I had my first 8-player smash with all human players yesterday.

My god was that fun.

Got really chaotic on smaller stages like Battlefield and Yoshi's Island, and it was a blast whether we were on teams or in a free for all.

My favorite part was Team Kirby vs Team Wii Fit and the latter all harnessed the power of the sun at the very start of the match, simply hysterical.

I've said this before, but I'm almost positive Robin will become a main of mine. I still need to work on my Greninja though.

I'll PM it to you tomorrow, when I'll hopefully be ready to do it. I have a presentation and a group paper I got to get done between today and tomorrow, so hopefully I step up.

Guys, this is the only true team battle anyone can ever have:

Nah dude, Pac-Man.

Why?

The only difference is in their sleeves.

We tried it last night and had no idea what the fuck was happening 0u0

Also Fuse, if you want we can do it on Wednesday, since I'll be free the entire day.

Little late now, but yeah, that'll work. All I have to do tomorrow/today is some minor prep work for a presentation on Friday. Should have it done by night time.

Sakurai also hates making sequels.

He even said in the IGN article that Melee, Brawl and Sm4sh were all designed in mind thinking there would not be a sequel.

I think he actually will give it a rest now. Smash U was received so well and it seems to be selling really well; I wouldn't blame him quitting while on top.

And regardless of him leaving or staying, Smash 5 will come along at some point. And whoever helms the project knows they have to do as well, if not better than this game. Nintendo won't let it happen any other way.

If Sakurai changes his mind, awesome. But if not, then move on man, you've more than earned it.

My guess is Namco might take over Smash 5.

It'd be more competitive, at least.

Yeah I completely agree with Fusion and Flame on this one. There is no way in HELL that Nintendo isn't going to continue milking this fat ass cow for all it's worth. Even if Sakurai doesn't want to make another Smash Brothers then Nintendo will just put someone else "more willing" to do the work.

Either way I'm just repeating what Fusion has already said above.

OH GOD MY SIDES!!!

Amiibo tournaments should totally be a thing.

That's what the article basically stated. To paraphrase, "Amiibos will most likely not be in legal tournaments with human players, as they get stats boosts once they reach Level 50. However, we can imagine an Amiibo only Tournament for those who prefer to play in a not-so-direct way."
