And yeah. Though I'd say you're better with Ganon than Ike. What the hell made you even be that good with Ganon?

Ike is my favorite but I think I am better with Ganondorf. They're both useful in different situations, though, so I can't compare them flat out to be completely sure.

 

And I just decided to pick him up when I played Brawl, I didn't actually main him in Melee when he was at his best. The thing about Brawl is that I played it so much and for so long my list of mains was over half of the game's roster (I've since consolidated my picks). My favorite characters have been the heavyweights due to their strength and survivability, so he was a natural pick. It was also sort of a pride thing: Become good enough that you can beat just about anyone even with the lowest tier character, cuz TR4Q.

 

And like I said, I played Brawl from release until they shut down the Wii servers. And actually some after that because I've played it with my friends at college. So that's over 6 years of continuous practice I had with Brawl.

Well that explains some things.

I feel I need to improve a bit more to more consistently beat you. Or at least, I should start shielding and grabbing more....hardly ever do those...

I use throws sometimes, but mostly if my opponent is of the playstyle where they just try to shield everything and do grab combos and I need to adapt to them.

 

Which, actually has been happening more often than not. It's really annoying.

My downfall is shieldgrabbers

That's why I love lloid. It stalls me in the air for a second, so I can lure people out of their shields and BOOM turnips.

 

 

I also like using Marth's shield breaker. It has more breaking power now, its so sweet.

So apparently setting up abunch amiibos to fight each other for ages while you just do something else is a good way to build coins and parts because of the presents they give you.

 

Talking about shields, I love Bowser's Whirling Fortress as an out of shield move.

Wait they can give you items and coins WITHOUT going to your friend's house?


And yeah, Bowser himself got a huge buff this game. He's like a tank with the mobility of a mildly quick attacker.

Yeah, just put them against each other in a round that lasts an hour or several and let them have their fun. Set Master Balls as the only item and they can farm CDs as well because of Mew, as long as they know to pick up and use items, which I think you can show them how to do after a single game. You just have to rescan them after the fight. Obviously more effective the more amiibos you have.

I've beaten Hina's Ganon. To be honest, it's great. But Shradow's Ganon is just....IDK, he plays him almost flawlessly.

Now I'm just remembering some of the matches I faced your Marth where there would be several increments of time where you would hop around me and use aerials and I would use my tilt attacks and neither of us would actually hit each other for a bit. XD

I tend to do that a lot. Marth's range nerf really got me.

They got buffed. Ganon's bair and Ike's fair autocancel, and Ike's bair can kill like 11% easier now. it's also bloody fast.

I'm talking even in Brawl, my aerial combat hasn't really changed any from then to now outside of Ike's range reduction on his fair. Bowser in particular I remember using his aerials a ton in Brawl.

 

The buffs are really nice, though, definitely noticeable.

Maybe they didn't wanna put heavy players at a disadvantage? IDK I mean, the best aerials I know are Villager's, and he's slow, but not big XDD

He's one of the slowest runners in the game.

Having played the Animal Crossing series extensively, I guess that makes sense, you don't run very fast at all in the series.

In fact, Villager's run is more of a....leisurely jog. That's why I pseudo-dash dance to move around sometimes.

 

But then again, Villager does everything with a smile.

Which just makes things all the more scary.

Sorry I wasn't active today, but I was playing Smash on the Wii U.  I got a bunch of trophies and music tracks.  By far, my favorite spoil is the Bionis trophy.  You can even see the settlements on it!

Finally went and beat 9.0 on the 3DS. Was actually pretty easy and got it in 4th try. Deeded makes short work of him, and I'm not very good as Dedede.

It's kinda crazy how much I can potentially stop a Villager with Falco. He can reflect the slingshot, bowling ball, potted plant, Lloid, I'm just not sure about the tree.

 

EDIT: So not only can you reflect the tree, you can also reflect the water from the watering can, and if the reflected water grows the tree it's growing animation will hurt the Villager instead. I'll have to remember that.
