Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U

Just the WiiU, I didn't get the 3DS version. I'm at the point where a win/loss only results in a ~.06% change in win rate.

I've been practicing Little Mac. He's really fun, but the ease that people can gimp you off the stage is absolutely disgusting sometimes. His recovery is just so bad.

Im gonna make a stage with no grabbable ledges, if that's possible.

Fun times.

I'm pretty sure you can actually do that.
And if you can't, then just put lava on the edges =D

That's because the majority of the players ONLY know how to throw.

I FUCKING KNOW, RIGHT? Jesus Christ...

I don't blame them.
I mean, throws seemingly have priority in addition to going through shields, as well as doing the same if not more damage then regular attacks and even gives you the ability to launch someone.
Toooootally not overpowered at all.

Meanwhile I've been fucking around with Charizard; His B+Side moves are ridiculous.

Charizard's Side B is indeed amazing. Honestly, I use it more for recovery then offense since its such a safe way to get back onto the stage.

All of his Side+B moves are amazing.
I've been experimenting with Blast Burn, or whatever the slower one is; That move can KO stuff at like 40%. It's so damn silly.
(I mean, if you add a few stats, but still)

Little Mac is such a weird character, though I don't mean that in a bad way. Unlike pretty much every other character in the game, he's balanced by such clearly defined, black-and-white strengths and weaknesses.

I also miss being able to chase off-stage enemies with him like I would other characters I play such as Bowser or Ike. :(

I really love Little Mac's playstyle. His air moves aren't good obviously, but his neutral air has some pretty neat things it can do.

I haven't really played with anyone here, so I'm probably way worse than any of you, but I've really, really grown fond of Little Mac. xD

I don't miss the off-stage chases too much, mainly cause I play the 3DS version since no Wii U. It's harder for me to get a good judge of the off-stage with the smaller screen and stuff.

Also if you RAR and jump once off the stage, then use his bair to gimp, you can return to the stage with your normal jump and side B. His bair has surprisingly half-decent knockback.

I've decided to say, "F*** win percentage." because there are some people I will deal with losing to multiple times until I beat them every time thereafter.

It's all about relentless practice. I played Brawl from the time of its launch up until they shut down the Wii game servers, and I imagine I'll be playing this for quite some time as well.

Mhmm

win percentage is eh.

Tournament placing is a lot more accurate.

Woah, my Wii U just turned off x.x

Think the power went out for a sec.

Regardless, I've decided that officially, I am WAY better with Villager than either Marth or Sheik (my other two mains)

It's actually kinda disappointing, I thought I was better with Marth, but hey, you're really good, so I guess there's that.

Your Ganon is somethin else. XD

Yeah, your Villager is really really good. I've faced, like, maybe 2 of them in the past, so I honestly had no idea what some of his moves did. You really threw me for a loop in the beginning with his slingshot that first kill. XD

Also, how many times can I guy kill themselves with Aether, holy crap. x.x

Almost had you that last one. Falco's one of my casual mains but it turns how he works pretty well against your Villager, I guess. Seeing his reflector turn you around when you were riding Lloid was pretty funny. Shame I hit Side B instead of Up B during that one recovery. >.>

All in all, really good fights. I think I need to go take a shower now, I was sweating bullets.

Right? it was intense. And yeah, Falco is a pretty good counter to Villager. only thing I can really do is use a projectile as bait and jump over you, but the slingshot is stopped short XDD

I was so proud of that first kill XP If only I could do it more consistently....

You killed yourself a lot with Aether...but you spiked me twice as many times XD

If only you got spiked faster than I fell when using Aether, a few matches ended with both us plummeting to our deaths but me dying a split second before you. XD

I'm not sure if I picked up a bad habit just for SSB4 or if they made Aether's ledge grabbing range shorter from Brawl, I dunno. Though I do know it can no longer grab ledges if you're facing the wrong way like it used to, still getting used to that bit.

Did he use to grab it if he wasnt facing it? I don't remember that XD

And right? I DO think if you are able to hit them with most of the slashes they DO plummet before you, but I could be wrong.

Easy to see why your win rate is so high tho XD

Yeah, in Brawl he could, but no longer. :(

I imagine if your damage was high enough you'd go faster, it just wasn't in the cases we had.

I think your issues with Marth/Sheik is that your approaches were limited. You did use a few moves repeatedly (so many forward airs from Sheik and Marth, or was it Marth's neutral air?), not unlike Villager, but with Villager you could do stuff like use Lloid in midair and change up the timing and positioning of your approaches.
